Absolutely - this behaviour leads to such a landslide of ratings which honestly is not a true depiction and it is just emotions flaring up.

I am going to use your username for this - such users are an enigma. To be able to predict what a drama is going to be like even before the showmakers begin filming and even know it themselves - is truly genius, an enigma to behold 😂

Sorry, sarcasm aside - I really hope that some measures are added in MDL future versions for a more accurate depiction!

Okay - I know this one of the most awaited shows, and I myself don't watch many C-dramas but am here watching it cause the synopsis looked good + love the main lead actor/actress.

But why is the rating 8.3 and already has 5 reviews when the show is still airing? [Many marking the show as complete - how?]

I really look up to MDL ratings/reviews, but find the above phenomenon ridiculous, I mean what is the logic and baseline? I wish MDL would restrict rating/review to episode only when a drama is airing and open the feature for overall rating/review once a drama completes. I feel that will be a more honest and accurate depiction and allow new viewers to make a better judgement/choice on starting a new drama.

If one is dropping it - then giving rating/review that is okay, cause that perspective might help others who have similar views are likely to drop/not start. But not having completed a show and giving out a verdict - good/bad is not informative and required IMHO

Yes, and ignore my first comment. I misread "I disliked the actor who played Benjamin in Love Song in winter, and here I am gushing over Benjamin"

For some reason I though Love Song in Winter is part of this series, and Benjamin character is common (cross-over) and that the actor was bad in that drama, but good here.

I think you mean character of same name were badly done by another actor in LSIW. But another actor in this drama who's his namesake is doing well and hence you are gushing over.

I have not started this drama (waiting for more episodes to air before I do), but was going through the comments.

Is the character of Benjamin there in any other story/drama which is part of the parent story - Love On? I could infer that from your comment, but just checking in.

Oh damn - then I guess if the drama follows suit, and is aiming for a second season, we would not know who the uncle is. Or maybe it will be showcased in the eps towards the end.

Yes - this was another fact that I had on my mind. His discharge date is almost the end of this year, so any season in same storyline would be a long time due. Hence, hoping this season would be complete in its own.

But I read a bit further on Fandom wiki - looks like this story is part of a larger universe. So maybe if its going well they could probably create any spin-off series.

Thanks Chae - I actually went ahead and read a lot of stuff on Fandom Wiki, and by the looks of it - it seems like we will have multiple season (I am sensing something like Weak Class Hero).

Given the webtoon is divided into multiple parts + the drama is 10 eps only - anyone knows if it is fully getting adapted, or will there be more seasons?
