Don't think this is going to happen, it's been over 2 years and half of the cast are now under GMMtv entertaiment.
Yeah, sadly it seems we won't get it, though with Thai stuff there's always a small chance that someone else might snatch it up. Could be recast, but hopefully the story would still be there. Thai production can be very slow, but like you said, time has passed and a lot has changed, with no message from the rights-holder. So our best bet might just be to hope that GMMTV or another company choose to pick it up. Or, you know, allow ourselves to be disappointed and just move on.
I wanted to give it a higher score, but I CANNOT stand the type of ending the secondary couple gets. That wasn't the only thing that bugged me, but I'm just over gay tragedy. I wanted to give this show a 10/10, but the final episode ruined it for me. I can't place something on my top rated list if I'll never watch it again.
It breaks my heart, because everything else was amazing. But that particular direction is just a hard no for me. I want more shows with that level of design, acting, editing, directing, writing, all of it. But I'd like to walk away feeling good and satisfied. I don't always need a happy ending, but I need to feel like things went in a satisfying direction, and in this case, it didn't hit for me.
Yeah, that's actually what I was here for. I wanted to see how they handled that kind of trauma and how cruel people can be about it. I'm sad to see they may have taken that out. Pilot trailers are great sometimes, but they also lead to disappointment now and then.
EDIT: I watched the new one again, and it seems it does actually touch on that stuff. I think tha'ts why he's being bullied. So fingers crossed they give it the sensitive kind of attention something like this deserves.
Hello, the page for "My Secret Vampire" is finally up !https://kisskh.at/799280-my-secret-vampireThis…
Oh yay! Thanks for letting me know! I check for new pages every few days, but a lot of the announced shows have been taking a while to get pages. Thanks again!
Sadly not. There was a short movie attached to it, I believe, but the actual project never happened. It's hard to say if it ever will. If the show were Thai, there might still be a small chance, but Taiwan doesn't seem to have that snail's pace window between announcement and finished product.
Did I survive Physical Therapy to go through such again...?ππ« What a bunch of bologne.π€πΎ
I think you're the first person I've run into who also saw that show! Physical Therapy, I mean. It was hands down the worst BL I've ever finished, rivaled only by a few shows I just could not get through, like Tim Tem Jai or whatever. PT was my first time giving a score lower than 4. I'm usually pretty generous.
This show sounded too weird from the start, but I was hoping maybe it would surprise me somehow. I won't watch it, most likely, based on a lot of the comments.
It's a time jump happy ending, but the time jump happens right at the beginning of the final ep. I won't go into…
Thank you for the info! I really do hate a time jump happy ending, yet Thai media freaking LOVES that crap. But if it's brief, I might give the show a shot. Would you say the ending was satisfying, at least? Either way, thank you for the info!
So it ends tomorrow. Can anyone reading this after finishing the show let me know if it's a sad or bittersweet ending? Or a time-jump happy ending? I would really like to watch the show, but I can't stand those three ending types most of the time.
Things get at least a year on here, unless they're officially canceled. Every six months or so, I go through and…
Haha, that's a great idea! It helps to stand out like that. I used to look around a busy room in search of pink hair, because my friend stood out more than the rest of us.
That's really cool that you've gotten to talk to some of our beloved actors! I'm trying to learn Thai, but I don't think I'll ever really be able to speak it, sadly. But I'd love to meet some of them someday.

Sorry in advance that this is so long. I just wanted to reply to each thing you mentioned:
Yeah, there were some difficulties with the dual company thing with Wuju Bakery. They were leaning into more of those Thai-Korean productions, but none of them were going over all that well. They did say they'd finished filming and just needed more time to perfect the special effects and such, but at this point, it seems it's lost for good. I'm holding out hope, but it's almost time for it to go to the potentially canceled list. :(
Oh, and GMMTV will sometimes loan out their actors to prior projects and what not, though Wuju Bakery is supposedly finished filming anyway. But who freaking knows at this point. Wuju Bakery is a very contentious topic. Happy Ending is the one they haven't filmed yet, which isn't really a BL even if there is some gay content in it. Thai stuff can take years to get going, so there's still some hope. The problem with Wuju Bakery is that it's under a Korean company, so it's stuck there in their hands. Happy Ending is completely Thai. But it still might not come out, so it is best to brace ourselves. So many good shows never come out, and it sucks.
I remember the controversy with the cast for Kiseki Chapter 1 and Lovely Addict, but the company did say they were just going to recast it. That being said, other companies have promised to recast and move forward, only to just drop the project without another word. This is also the company behind Dear Dopamine and Partner in Crime, which also seem like they won't be coming out. So it might just be that their company bit off more than they can chew, unfortunately.
Okay, so Your Dear Daddy is news to me. I hadn't heard they were having issues. They fairly recently dropped their pilot trailer, but if I recall correctly, this is a newer company in charge. That can spell disaster, depending. It's fair to assume they might not get it off the ground, even if the leads are locked in.
Oh, and The Bangkok Boy, I didn't realize it did poorly locally. That really sucks. I loved that show. But it had a satisfying enough ending if season two never comes. Either way, I have my fingers crossed. The Bangkok Boy itself barely happened. They had to recast the show after several years. I was shocked it came out at all. So that's a shame that it didn't do as well as it could have. I spent years moping about it never coming out, and it did, so I'm happy with that much, but another season could have wrapped up some storylines better. Boo.
But yeah, thanks for sharing the info. ^__^ I'll do some researching and see what I can dig up, but typically it depends on the company and how much money they have to fix things. The smaller company shows probably are indeed canceled, as paying for new actors may be beyond their budget. We'll see, though! I've had the "potentially canceled" list going for a few years now, and at least 20 shows in that time have come back from the dead. So cross your fingers!

Girl, you still haven't told me which ones they are. XD Either way, eventually they'll end up on the potentially canceled list. It's a shame, but a fair amount end up there. Haha, yeah, you never know what might happen, especially if these are Thai shows. It's all so random, like what happened with KinnPorsche and The Bangkok Boy. But most with those circumstances do just quietly die. I think about a third of what gets announced never happens, and it really sucks. I hope you weren't looking forward to them. I have a few like that. Really awesome ideas with actors I love, and it all just fell apart. :(
Thank you for your suggestions, but I don't include things that are basically slice-of-life with some supernatural…
I'm sorry! I never noticed this message. Thank you for the info on Ghost House. I'll delete it.
I only got a few episodes into Kidnap before some stuff came up, and I never got around to picking it up again. I do like more emotional and intense shows. Thanks for letting me know. I'll bump Fight for You up on my list, and I'll finish Kidnap when I can.
I know, like, no hate to the fluffy or slice-of-life type BLs--I love quite a few softer shows--but it's frustrating to see things with intrigue and mystery and dark plots woven throughout get dropped again and again while 70 new shows about two guys who like each other but pretend they don't for the whole season while nothing happens get announced every year. Those shows are easier to make, sure, but the right script, director, actors, and editor can create something fantastic, even with a low budget.
There are quite a few here that will not happen, cause the people involved are no longer acting.
Oh, but if you want to name a few that you're nervous about, I can look into it and see if I can find any confirmation. Minus special episodes and sequels, the vast majority of what's up there either isn't cast yet or was recently updated.

Things get at least a year on here, unless they're officially canceled. Every six months or so, I go through and move what I need to to the "potentially canceled" list. If it's ever officially confirmed, they go to the canceled list. People giving up acting doesn't mean a show isn't happening. Recastings happen quite often. There are a few titles here that I assume are doomed for good, but I'm giving them time. I've been wrong quite a few times when shows I was certain were canceled came back from the dead. Several of the listed projects here with release dates were thought to be canceled at one point.
I think this is the only series where aj and jj act together right? Itβs gonna be hard to tell them apart lmao
No, they've done a few shows as twins, like The Gifted and Home School. But they were treated as a single unit in those. You didn't really have to figure out who was who.
