Almost every BL break up episode kills the momentum of the show and it drive me nuts. I was complete head over…
I feel like we need a freaking petition at this point, especially when some otherwise fantastic directors are constantly playing that card--break ups, time jump happy endings, general separation, etc. (*cough* Aof *cough*). GMMTV does seem to be clinging the hardest to that crap. It ruins shows for me. The ending is SO important, and most people can't stand these cop out penultimate-episode conflicts. I still haven't seen the show, but I waited because I knew this would happen. I'm putting off Last Twilight for the same reason. x_x
You took the words right out of my mouth regarding how it kills the momentum and adds NOTHING. It's just like a cheap gotcha, trying to make you sad before the random happy ending that isn't reflective of their time apart at all. And you can't just jump back into a relationship like nothing happened when you've been apart for so long. It's just irritating. I want them to create a policy that shows just can't end like that anymore. Like who actually wants this crap? There are so many better ways to create drama. I feel cheated when shows pull this trope.
Even though this series, and especially this ep. showed just how cut-throat and vicious the idol industry can…
Honestly, knowing it would happen is why I'm waiting for the show to end before I watch it. I really hate temporary break ups, time jump happy endings, etc. It's just trite melodrama a lot of the time, especially when it doesn't add anything at all. They're apart, then suddenly they find each other again, or finally meet after years of acting like phones and email aren't a thing, and then it's just supposed to pick up where it left off?
I'm really mad 4 years later and still nothing?! Go to hell
It was announced in the 2023 Expo for the company. It's only been two years. I get that it's frustrating, though, but as far as Thai productions go, it's moving at a fairly typical rate. I can't wait to see it either, so I hope they come out with the official trailer soon.
Welcome back! I hope you are okay now. Your work on this list is much appreciated, I check it for news several…
Aw, thank you so much! I'm so glad the lists have been helpful, and it's really sweet to get these comments wishing me well and letting me know that people are here and using it. I'm hoping I can stay more on top of it soon. Thank you for your kind words.
Oh great, thank you! I've been depressed lately, so I'm not as on top of these lists. But I appreciate the info!…
Aw, thank you so much! These comments are very touching and encouraging. I look forward to getting back on track. I'm glad the list has been so helpful for you so far. Thank you so much for the vibes and virtual hugs. Just your kind words in general. Here's hoping I can get back to being on top of everything soon. Thank you again for taking the time to comment, especially something this nice.
I feel like a lot of people in the comments are very new to Thai shows. The long process is normal. I could have sworn they already confirmed that the show was done filming (too lazy to look for that), but even if it's not, they're still updating here and there. We're just waiting for info on when it's completed as a whole. Even after filming, editing and special effects can take a LOT of time, and they also have a lot of steps and choices to make when it comes to promotion.
You don't give up on Thai shows until two years have passed with no updates. XD Obviously I'm kidding but also kind of not. So many shows have been quiet for long periods only to pop up out of nowhere.
Desirehttps://kisskh.at/749797-desireThey've already started filming. They say 2025. It's on your potentially…
Oh great, thank you! I've been depressed lately, so I'm not as on top of these lists. But I appreciate the info! When I get home, I'll switch it to this one.
Beautiful trailer! After Pluto we needed a really well done GL (I still have to finish it, but seeing the comments…
Was Pluto low quality? I waited to let it finish before I watched, but I saw something that made me think it had a sad or bittersweet ending. I'd still like to see it, but if it wasn't good, I may put it off a bit.
They better resolve that love triangle with a GL! There are two hetero pairs already, and not sure which result…
My feelings exactly, and we're not alone on that. I feel like it either has to end in GL or in a throuple but I think it'd be better in this case (since I do support throuples otherwise) to have it just be the two girls. I love that whole "fighting over a dude, but wait, we like each other more" type set ups, haha.
I keep hearing something like this every year or so, haha. I'm afraid to get my hopes up, but I'll move this back…
Ah yeah, thanks! I tried to remember to fix it when I got home, but I forgot. That company was quiet for a while, but now they seem to be kicking up the pace.
For reference how much is usually invested in a Thai show?
It's more than most Thai shows get. The Next Prince I think is like 35 million? Or I could be remembering wrong and it was 3.5 mil instead. It's a lot less than what most western films/shows get, but still over a million if the first one is true. I just remember that TNP was Domundi's most expensive show, though I can see why that would be all things considered.
Oh cool, glad that one is back on. You'll see that it was in the potentially canceled list for a while, but Thai shows can do that sometimes. This is the kind of ending we like to see with shows on that list. :)
no way their first official kiss would be in trailer
I think the person was trying to make you feel better, not correct you. Like just because they don't kiss in the trailer doesn't mean it isn't BL. I mean, that they're still deciding what it is was kind of odd, but maybe it means we'll get what we never thought we would, haha.
