My guess is the Saturday slot in October. It'll be done sooner than The Heart Killers, and that's a hyped show that'll most likely air Friday or Saturday. The Heart Killers will air at the end of the year, and Joong implied or said (can't remember) that it'd be December, which would line up well for it to be the one to take over after Kidnap.

Then again, I assume things will take an extra long time so as not to get my hopes up, haha, so it might not come then. It's just moving along so quickly, I think it has a fair chance compared to most of the other shows filming right now.

As I said in my comment, HSF will be Mon-Tues, so I'm not sure if you misunderstood or are just agreeing. And like I said, nothing, including Pluto, is ready for Thursday or Sunday. Thame-Po and Pluto are at the same level of completed, and I don't think either will be ready in time.

BUT, like I also said, they're doing a four week concert run on Thursday, meaning the Thursday slot will open in October instead of September, and since Pluto is more likely to air on Thursday than Thame-Po, I think that if they feel it's ready, it'll air then. If not, though, I'm pretty sure it'll be another rerun, which is disappointing. So I hope that Pluto takes the space after all.

My money is on reruns for both Sunday and Thursday otherwise, as I said, but I would love to be proven wrong.

Yeah, unfortunately sometimes deadlines pass with no word. It doesn't seem to have come out, unless that information is only available locally. None of my usual sources, scheduling places, or news spots have said anything about it already airing. But, rest assured, once I see an update on it, I'll include that information.

Good news as far as Thursday being taken up by another rerun! It still might, but they're airing something short through September, so there's a chance Pluto could take the Thursday slot, starting in October. They do that sometimes when a show is almost ready, but not quite, and they don't want a full rerun to eat up the space.

We'll see! Never Let Me Go and The Warp Effect took those slots at one point. It's never been a BL or GL when it's two days a week, but they've had two different shows on each day at least twice, and both times I believe there was something het or het-adjacent on one end, and something not het on the other.

I honestly can't see Pluto airing anywhere else except maybe that Saturday slot, but I feel like Thame-Po is more likely there. If I'm wrong, I think Thame-Po will take a Monday or Tuesday slot instead. But I'd greatly prefer they start airing Pluto before it's finished so it can take over the Sunday slot. They could delay it a bit, but I do worry we'll just get another rerun then.

Other than Thame-Po in the Saturday slot, I actually don't think any of those guesses are likely. Of course, even though I've been right in the last few predictions, people never seem to like hearing my opinion on this, so take it as you will. XD

Saturday in October will likely go to Thame-Po, though there's a (slightly less likely) chance that could be Pluto instead. I'm not entirely sure where Pluto will fit, or Thame-Po if they switch places, if Perfect 10 Liners will happen this year, but that could actually be done with a M-T switch up after High School Frenemy. Either way, it definitely won't be Ossan's Love on Friday, as that is still in the very early stages of filming and was predicted for December.

I don't think Pluto will be ready to take over the Sunday slot in September, so I think we'll be getting another rerun. But maybe I'll be wrong (would love to be wrong!). Thame-Po and Pluto are neck and neck, and it doesn't seem like any shows are ready for September, but if they start airing one before it's done editing, or if they've been editing significantly while still filming, which is possible, it could come early. In a perfect world, I agree that Pluto would be perfect for the Sunday slot, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Monday and Tuesday, when featuring a two-episodes-a-week show, have never been for BL or GL. Historically, it's always been het shows, and any time BL has aired twice a week, it got Wednesday and Thursday, so I find the chance of Perfect 10 Liners taking over High School Frenemy to be very low. As cool as it would be for them to change their trends, I never let myself get too excited about those chances. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.

The Heart Killers is a big deal show. It'll definitely take a Friday or Saturday slot, but since it isn't ready for the October spot, it's most likely to follow Kidnap with that November/early December opening on Friday.

Peaceful Property might just sit for a minute until Thursday catches up, and this could become the new slot for Perfect 10 Liners. There are a lot of maybes here, but it seems like some choices might be a little more likely, based on what's close to being finished and what's not.

Honestly, Pluto and Break Up Service are kind of wild cards depending on if we get twice-airing shows on MT and WTH near the end of the year. I feel like at least one of those slots will be a two day a week show, and the other slot will be split for Break Up Service and Pluto. Since there are no other het shows that are close to being finished and would typically necessitate two days a week, I'll go ahead and assume two shows will take over after HSF.

Here are my semi-educated guesses, but keep in mind none of us can know what's happening behind the scenes, truly, so I could certainly be wrong about some or all of them:

I follow GMMTV's scheduling very closely and keep lists regarding release dates, etc. I follow the patterns as much as possible and look at scheduling trends (yeah, I'm a bit obsessive, I suppose), but I'm still only right about 60-70% of the time. As we hear more about these individual projects, these predictions could completely change, but this is what seems most likely to me at the moment. We'll see if GMMTV surprises us with a finished product that had seemed too far behind to start airing!

Sorry it's so long to anyone who actually bothered reading it. I find this sort of thing really fun in a dumb way, lol, like fantasy football. Just trying to draw logic out of what this chaotic channel may hold for us. But I look forward to seeing the results!

I agree! I run several lists about upcoming shows, and MDL is one of my resources for information. It sucks not being able to find any info if and when it does come around because some people are entitled. Fortunately MOST of the people who do that are mature and kind about it. I know the majority aren't trying to be obnoxious. The rest are under 15 (mentally if not physically) and are still developing a sense of common courtesy.

Fortunately you can just block the few that are defensive about it. Like what's the point of getting mad at people for politely asking you to take that stuff somewhere else?

I got the strong sense that it was more about romance. Each girl had a romance, and it didn't seem focused on much else. I don't like how heavily shows with women feature romance as the more important element. I grew up reading and watching things where maybe a girl has a boy she likes or has a boyfriend, but the story was about girls being friends and going on adventures. That sort of thing is very hard to find now. Even reboots of those same stories I used to love are now mostly about romance.

I'm not saying none of the shows with mostly women have ANY friendship in it. I'm just not a big fan of romance in general, and I prefer stories with plot. To be fair, I could be totally misreading Ploy's Yearbook, but the heavy emphasis on romance in the trailer is enough to kill my interest. And... I gotta be honest, even if the romance is minimal, the show itself just doesn't look that interesting to me. If it were in fact just about friendship and such, and the girls have boyfriends in the background, that'd be different, but I get the feeling that it isn't like that. I also get that I'm in the minority, as people love this sort of thing. Or so I assume, as it's 99.9999% of content with female characters in it.

Same! It does seem like the most anticipated shows come the latest, for sure. We all have different tastes, of course, so it might be a coincidence, but it does seem like the lighter, fluffier, or more experimental shows tend to air first.

Definitely not until 2025. I know it's equal to Ossan's Love in how many Qs it has done, but it has a more demanding production. There are special effects and other features that aren't going to be an issue in Ossan's Love. I do hope we'll get it early in 2025, though! I just think it's not very likely to come out this year.

And the rest of the shows seem unlikely to come out this year too. Enigma 2 does have a chance if it's as short as the first one, but other than that, Hide and Sis, Friendshit Forever, Revamp, The Ex-Morning, Us, Scarlet Heart, The Dark Dice, Sweet Tooth Good Dentist (though of all of these, it has the highest chance of coming out in 2024, I think, if any of them do), and Leap Day feel like pretty much guaranteed 2025 or later shows for a number of reasons. Most of them haven't started filming or even had their first script read, and the ones that have started don't seem quite as likely.

These are just guesses, of course. You never know when a show is suddenly going to start cranking out Qs, like Thame-Po did. That's partly why I think Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist could come out this year, even though it just started production. But yeah, I'd actually prefer My Golden Blood take its time so it's the best it can be. It'd be easy for them to screw up the effects in that one. At the same time, I want to see it ASAP, so if they managed to produce it (well) and put it out this year, I will happily eat my words.

I hope that's not the case, but I don't wanna get my hopes up. So far the pattern this year doesn't suggest they'd start airing it before it's done filming. In October, High School Frenemy will most likely take the Monday-Tuesday slot, leaving only a Saturday slot which I figure will be either Thame-Po or Pluto, as they're both at the same amount of complete.

If Thame-Po takes Saturday, I think Pluto will likely take the Friday slot in November. It could also take the Wednesday slot, but that doesn't seem quite as likely. Otherwise it might be Pluto in October, Thame-Po in November, though The Heart Killers is also supposed to air around then, so one of these shows could indeed take the Wednesday slot in November. Perfect 10 Liners has to be a two day a week show, but historically Mon/Tues is always a het-centered show, so I'm not so sure it'll air this year. Ossan's Love could take the December Sunday slot, though. Then there's one more slot in December that could be for Break Up Service, if it doesn't take the November slot.

I feel like worst case scenario, we'll only get four or five more shows this year, but they could surprise us and actually fill all of the nine remaining slots. Both The Heart Killers and Perfect 10 Liners were estimated to air this year at different points, but I don't know if that'll actually happen. I think at the very least we'll get those two at the beginning of 2025. The only two shows that are close to being finished right now and don't have a slot yet are Pluto and Thame-Po, but both of those are only halfway done. Then again, Thame-Po has moved very quickly given that it didn't even start filming until after Pluto had, and it's already caught up. I think it's guaranteed, unless something comes up, that those two will air this year. The rest are on a spectrum of likeliness, but it seems kind of up in the air given GMMTV's structure. Just my (semi-educated but in no way certain) opinion!

EDIT: Oh, I should add that Mon/Tues is only straight-centered shows when aired two days a week. So if they need to make more room for other types, that M/T could turn into two shows airing instead of one taking both slots. I just don't imagine Perfect 10 Liners will take that. It'll probably take the soonest W/Th, as have all two day-airing BL shows in the past.

Hopefully the show version will smooth everything out!

Lmao, right? I wish this commenter had stopped posting this everywhere and just used google translate, because it's annoying to keep seeing this ignorant post. It's so common with very young fans to think that two actors are either dating each other, or straight. It's not an either/or situation, nor are gay and straight the only two options. It's very, "I'm a straight teenage girl who thinks gay relationships are pretend."

Not to mention, believe it or not, kiddos, but you can be married to someone and still act with someone else. Most people in shows and movies aren't actually dating one another.

Oh no, what do you mean? I got a weird vibe from the trailer, but I was really, really hoping this would be a good show. Is the novel depressing? Or are the characters just crappy? The good news is, they often take liberties with these dramas that make them less toxic, if that's the issue. I couldn't believe some of the stuff in novel versions of a few shows, like wtf. Hopefully this will be really good and successful regardless.

Yeah, I might watch for Boun because I love him (not super familiar with either actress), but I can't stand shows about women hating and betraying each other. It feels like most GMMTV series with mostly female casts are about women stabbing each other in the back and/or fighting over guys. It really irks me. The rare times it's not, it seems to just be about a bunch of girls dating guys, not really about their friendship or anything exciting happening for them. I have all of my fingers crossed for an epic all or mostly female cast with a cool plot and no girl hate or love rivalry for 2025. Like, give me four best friends trying to solve a murder or something, and have them all already in serious relationships so that part can just be a non-issue, haha.

They're currently filming for Perfect 10 Liners, and they haven't started filming for this one. I'd imagine that's why. He's sick right now, and he couldn't handle the demands of shooting, but I'm sure he's hoping he'll have recovered by the time they get to this one. That in mind, it makes me think that this won't start filming until late in the year.

Either way, I just hope Chimon recovers quickly for his own good. I struggle with the same thing, and it can be awful. If things don't go well, he may have to drop out of this too, but I hope he's feeling much better before that, just because mental illness is awful. We've lost people to this crap, so I'm glad he's taking the break that he needs, even if I'll be sad not to see him in PTL.
