Ten episodes is the default on MDL. They change the number when the end date is revealed. So it might be 10, it might be more, or it might be less. I don't care how many episodes as long as they don't rush or leave important things out. Hopefully they make great use of whatever amount of episodes they do have.
I hope they pull a BasFuiaz or do an open ending. In 4 minutes technically JJayFuiaz is the main ship but in the…
I had been wishing for a long while for Gun to be in a love triangle that ended in a throuple, and I hate that this one has my hopes up because I kind of doubt they have the guts to go there. People lose their minds over this stuff, and GMMTV is still treading water to see what they can get away with. Then again, if you're gonna do something controversial, it's better to stick with veterans (which was possibly one of the reasons Ohm and Leng didn't work out--it's tough to be a brand new actor being thrust into drama that doesn't even have to do with you).
I'm going in not expecting it in order to protect my own feelings, but if we get it, I will explode with joy. I never dreamed Dew would step out of the Straight Boy Squad, and if we get a really good kiss between Dew and Gun, I'll be satisfied. More than that would be freaking amazing, but GMMTV likes to tease us and play with our feelings. (Like, not even a throuple, when are we just gonna get a three-way? Only Friends, I'm still glaring at you.) While I love the one and only throuple we've ever gotten from GMMTV, that was MMF, and I'd love to see MMM. (I also think Be on Cloud is more likely to give us our first MMM throuple in a main role, so we'll see who gets there sooner.)
..." i just hope this doesn't become toxic." Girl this will be BEYOND toxic!
Haha, exactly. We were asking for a GL version of Only Friends, and they actually listened. The only thing that sucks a tiny bit is the same issue in Only Friends. By casting with pairings, we all know how the couples will end--either alone or with their pair. But I'm still excited. Hopefully this and Only Friends 2 will both be a lot of fun. Finally we're getting messy queer drama up in here. Straight shows don't get all the fun, lol. (Also I really need Milk and Namtan to have a hate-fueled hook up, haha.)
Anyone who doesn't want a toxic show, it looks like Whale Store is the softer option, like We Are. GMMTV has been doing a lot of ensemble experimenting lately.
I honestly knew from the beginning that Miss Thara was the real villain. So I was not surprised when she locked…
Yeah, same, the show is very predictable--but that isn't always a bad thing. I'm enjoying what it does right, and I don't mind if I basically knew every beat of the series just watching the first episode. It's fun to see Joss as a vampire, and I appreciate the character growth that they have included. Sometimes it's okay to just make something without reinventing the wheel. I'd much rather get predictable vampires than some weird, tragic crap that's trying to surprise the audience, rather than give them a satisfying show that actually makes sense.
I hope this does happen. It's not unusual for Thai shows to have starts and stops like this, but it really has been a while with no concrete information. It seemed canceled, then they got our hopes up by announcing it would come in 2025. And maybe it still will, but it's hard to say without more promotional material or even just a comment from those involved. I'm guessing the budget needs to be a bit higher, and the themes might be challenging visually. But I'm still really, really hoping it'll come eventually. Even if it isn't in 2025.
While I thought his roles in Cooking Crush and The Trainee were cute I have really missed Gun in a more Challenging/Thriller…
Gun is such a powerhouse, and I feel like they never give him the chance to use that in BLs. He's the last person you want to waste in a soft, surface-level, weak high school boy sort of role, and yet that's all he ever seems to get to play in BL. When he gets a really fantastic role, it's always gen or het, and it bums me out. His portrayal of Black was amazing, but he was in there for like 45 seconds. And yeah, there was Playboy and the Gang of Cherry, but I don't really count that for a few reasons. I like him in roles like that though. Obviously this role is different, but I figure you get what I mean. I'm tentatively looking forward to the show and hope it's great.
Yeah, the list is behind a bit due to my health issues. Hopefully I'll soon be well enough to maintain it with the same fervor that I used to. But yeah, I try to go in at least once a week to clear things out, etc. Anything on the list that's currently airing will be moved soon.
"Heesu in Class 2" is coming March 28thhttps://kisskh.at/729841-heesu-in-class-2I can't tell if this is…
Oh great! I wasn't sure if that one was ever coming out. But yeah, I remember the controversy over that with people being worried that it's not BL after all. Here's hoping they didn’t take it out. I'm just glad that we have a date for now. Thank you for sharing this info! I'll fix it when I get home.
Almost every BL break up episode kills the momentum of the show and it drive me nuts. I was complete head over…
I feel like we need a freaking petition at this point, especially when some otherwise fantastic directors are constantly playing that card--break ups, time jump happy endings, general separation, etc. (*cough* Aof *cough*). GMMTV does seem to be clinging the hardest to that crap. It ruins shows for me. The ending is SO important, and most people can't stand these cop out penultimate-episode conflicts. I still haven't seen the show, but I waited because I knew this would happen. I'm putting off Last Twilight for the same reason. x_x
You took the words right out of my mouth regarding how it kills the momentum and adds NOTHING. It's just like a cheap gotcha, trying to make you sad before the random happy ending that isn't reflective of their time apart at all. And you can't just jump back into a relationship like nothing happened when you've been apart for so long. It's just irritating. I want them to create a policy that shows just can't end like that anymore. Like who actually wants this crap? There are so many better ways to create drama. I feel cheated when shows pull this trope.
Even though this series, and especially this ep. showed just how cut-throat and vicious the idol industry can…
Honestly, knowing it would happen is why I'm waiting for the show to end before I watch it. I really hate temporary break ups, time jump happy endings, etc. It's just trite melodrama a lot of the time, especially when it doesn't add anything at all. They're apart, then suddenly they find each other again, or finally meet after years of acting like phones and email aren't a thing, and then it's just supposed to pick up where it left off?
I'm really mad 4 years later and still nothing?! Go to hell
It was announced in the 2023 Expo for the company. It's only been two years. I get that it's frustrating, though, but as far as Thai productions go, it's moving at a fairly typical rate. I can't wait to see it either, so I hope they come out with the official trailer soon.
