Every version did that but when he apologised to the staff I lost it. That's a complete new character. They still erased the social injustice message for some life lessons and the bullying was mellowed down. The overall message just got lost in my eyes. For me Meteor Garden despite it's flaws is truer to Hana Yori Dango and the best remake. Thai is okay but meh.
