You don need to say anythinf and need to calm down as I said you can enjoy it. I simply voiced my opinion. As for your bullying take, bullying is just as prevalent as it was back then to say it's "not" popular is kinda strange. It's not supposed to be popular and show, what not to do. It's a message. Pls tell your whole take to my sister's bully since it's not *popular* and ppl have TT, stand up for the victims now. You also need to learn that social media aren't a true representation of the reality. The truth is far from it and cyberbullying especially is huge nowadays. Next, I really don't think it would receive blacklash, except for a minority, Meteor Garden came out 3 years ago and to this day is still one of the most popular adaptation. Even on TT, which you give too much credit to, most ppl love that version over the new version. So that's that.
No I was the one defending y'all. You can handle dark themes and problematic relationships.
And wtf did I even do to be at "fault"just bc you are a teen doesn't mean you can say anything you want. You are responsible and should be held accountable for your words and actions. Don't hide behind your age. Seriously? I guess you really need to grow up and learn how to handle criticism/an opinion that's different from you.
To end it all, you can like it, not everyone will, it's not that hard to accept
I'm so glad they kept the bullying in this version. I actually liked how the Chinese Meteor Garden removed it…
Yeah that was my last straw it's like??? it erases the social injustice message in my eyes but maybe imma try to view it like you. Instesad of Domyouji or Dou Ming Si he's a different guy
For me this is still the best remake albeit they didn't show the bullying sadly. The Thai version is trying but I dislike how they mellowed down the ML to the point he feels like a complete different character in my eyes, the bullying AND erased the social injustice message behind Hana Yori Dango.

Good for you if you love it but not everyone will. We all have different opinions and for me they kinda implied y'all too stupid to handle dark themes and toxic relationships which I disagree with by saying "it's aimed at teens so they can't do that". That's a line ppl have been using for Shojo manga and it ruined the whole genre to the point only light-hearted manga in the same font are being produced and demaged the demographic. The ML being toxic and the social injustice were important in my eyes, matter just as much as it did in the 90's as it does now. So for them to erase it does ruin the show for me a little and like I said, I'm all for changes, I loved the changes It started out with a kiss. The ML itself was really toxic and they toned it down but not to the point he feels like a whole different character. That's the issue I'm having. For me the best toned down version was the one in the C-drama 2018.
The fact you're calling me immature or saying I don't wanna grow up for not liking it as you and the rest here says a lot about you and your maturity level than about myself. For me it just doesn't send the message across that Hana Yori had and my opinion is just as valid as yours. I'm not going to stop you from liking it.
After seeing the a love so beautiful and Hana Yori Dango remake I hope to god they aren't watering this (and the Male lead) down and ruining the dynamic.

Fully agree but what I didn't like is that they made the ML tooooooo soft. The hell is he supposed to be and they ruined the message. Hope it gets better but so far I only are about the 2nd couple. It will be funny to me if they don't get together but makig the ML a compete new character is okay.

Y'all do realise ya making teens out to be stupid? They can't handle it. They're too young bla bla. No they can and we need to stop sugarcoating them that's there hasn't been any hit since years in the shojo. There are many teens who love that and there's a difference btw changing stuff, I appreciate the changes in the It started with a kiss adaptations and changing the overall message of the full story, then name it smth else. LOL

Then it's not Hana Yori Dango as simple as it is and yes, yes they could've and should've otherwise they ruin the message. It was always about social injustice and you are implying teens ate too stupid for that when most of us grew up with Hana Yori or a lot of us faced bullying. They can't handle it. "Can't do it today", is just an excuse and Hana Yori Dango and every other version WAS always aimed at teens, the recent one being 3 years away. I'm sorry but what you said sounds ridiculous.
Imma be frank as someone who watched every version, read the manga multiple times, I hope they don't mellow it down too much (the toxicity or bullying). It was always part of the progress, the change and showcasing the social injustice.
Wouldn't be Hana Yori Dango for me then. If I wanted a healthy dynamic I could watch the 2nd ep of Run On.
His clinginess now is totally predictable, though. He is generally an affectionate and caring person, as evidenced…
In my country there's a joke around how you act with your family, your friends and your spouse. They all tend to be different and I agree with that. I act differently around my family and let's say my friends or my lovers. I just wish they'd be less over the top and be maybe a little awkward since it's both of their first relationships.
Well, doesn't really matter. I'm not liking Winter garden this season. They're too corny for my liking.
I'm actually more interested in the other couples than Wintergarden this season. Idk why but it's not clicking for me?? Maybe it's because he was so cold to her in the first season and now is overly clingy.
I hope they aren’t. No girl deserves a manipulative boyfriend like the ML
I get where you're coming from but for me it feels completely pointless to continue watching if they aren't endgame. I'm not a fan of nice guys or bland, perfect Leads. Also love toxic relationships that turn good at the end bc they 're interesting and compelling haha
