bruh this is one of my faves i love that they all have personalities/depth even the ML despite being cold if that's not to your liking then watch one of the recent k-drama with bland ML
I have really enjoyed several C-dramas over the years, but I can't handle the filler anymore. 40 to 50 episodes…
No you are right if only they were to cut down the eps then it'd be perfect but lately I've been preferring them over K-drama. They been so ... bland, no character development and the ML's barley have an personality other than a wet towel"nice" and the FL is (often) cold hearted.
And people be reacting as if this is the only drama airing right now. I have seen some people here who always…
it seems we really do, you do you, i feel uncomfortable if they date right away whilst barley knowing each other and there's nothing to actually root. that's why it's funny when people act as if it's groundbreaking or brandnew as if we've haven't been served that the past few years. i can't think of any slowburn couple and in general i just miss the drama that made k-drama good, everything is so bland or perfect, character development and MLs having personalities..now usually the FL is the bold/cold heart (or a jerk) one whilst the ML is bland as hell with barley any emotions other than being the"nice guy" from what i've noticed.

they fell in love right away and dated can't be faster than that especially run-on, most boring show i've forced myself through, our beloved summer already established them, then there's evil flower where the main couple is married, there's been so many in recent years.
nah but i appreciate having something to look forward to and getting to know the characters first before they date for the next 13 eps and nothing happens
isn't it interesting that no one here despite talking about variety and how tiring slowburn romances are could give me a recommenation that I asked for frequently. so obviously there aren't many and most are fast romances lol

I dropped them all but coming to mind is Run- ON, Bogum's new drama, Our Beloved Summer, Hometown Cha Cha, Nevertheless, Start UP and every Melodrama produced in 2020-2022. If you know some where it's slowburn please let me know

I've been watching for years too and this matches the ones they've been producing the past 2 years. Don't see any refreshing of this but to each of our own.
by all means most k-drama nowadays are fast romance, as you've said variety is good but where is it ? i've been…
Yes this!! Plus the leads are bland too when will MLs in romcoms have personalities or character development again other than them being "nice". They are like wet towels. It's funny how they talk about variety or refreshing as if recent romcoms haven't all been this way. Can't name one that wasn't at least fast paced.

idk about you but i've checked most recent, airing drama and in all the romance is fast but if i missed out on one with slowburn which truely would be refreshing in the sea of fast romances lately (the past few years), i'm listening
It seems silly to complain about the romance being "fast". Not every k-drama needs a slow burn romance. Variety…
by all means most k-drama nowadays are fast romance, as you've said variety is good but where is it ? i've been looking for some which is why i tried this out after being recommended it but+ most date 3 eps in despite barley knowing each other then nothing happens for the next 13 more eps. i fail to see the there's so much you can do when the romance starts early, you can watch the first 3 eps and the last and you've missed nothing.
I haven't found any this year that has me hooked they all so so so bland and uneventful might as well watch the first, the last and you have missed nothing
