They do this drama a disservice by translating the title as first responders, it makes it seem like we're going…
Don’t know and don’t really care about the American show but in terms of the title here it does fit a little - firefighters, paramedics, cops and then forensics are all the first people on the scene.
Anyhow it’s a less clunky and literal title than the Korean one : police station next to fire station
The drama is getting less love. (No hot hallyu star oppa or unnie to fawn over?) The level of brutality in the cases is pretty intense and I like all those random lessons from the firefighters.
not that I voted for it but last 5-6 ep of drama were just plain underwhelming. the time devoted to romance onscreen…
Oh the Hyang Gi and Jung Woo Sung’s movie was by the same writer? I loved that movie and the young actress’s portrayal and was on the fence on whether or not to start EAW
We have come to a point when 4, 5,6 %, even 3,4% ratings is considered very good! But Reborn Rich has 19.44%,…
RR, aside from having a Hallyu star and a time travel plot is exactly the kind of provocative chaebol politics plot that Korean tv watchers love.
The ML is basically the self-insert/Gary Stu character that goes back in time and witnesses first hand the life of an uber rich family, (that too a loosely fictional version of the Samsung group). He is downright poor himself and lived without pride for chump change and delusions of a secured retirement, but now gets a chance to go back in time and invest everywhere that strikes a jackpot with his future knowledge. It’s what any poor or middle class person dreams of. Oh if I knew how big so and so would hit, I would’ve invested in it 20 years ago and would be living comfortably now. Oh, that big tech group are just bathing with gold at our expense, hate them arghh, they don’t care about people like us (but if given the chance to be one of them, they wouldn’t act all that different but still seek revenge at risk of hypocrisy).
Also as most of the plot is set in the past, like the Reply series it provides a sense of nostalgia which much of the older generation, that contributes to TV ratings, would really relate with.
A lot of k-celeb mbti articles are speculative. Spread by random article writers or fan theories but no source…
I don’t need source for Eun Woo. It’s just hilarious, and makes a point on how an introvert can have an extrovert mbti. So like in Jin Young’s case, him being an “extrovert”
A lot of k-celeb mbti articles are speculative. Spread by random article writers or fan theories but no source of the artist ever revealing their MBTI themselves. And then many who did take the test get differing results every time because the test itself is … and sometimes some celebs can just outright lie for image making.
Look at Eun Woo’s lol. “Introvert as a celebrity but extrovert in his normal civilian identity”
Oh shouldn’t she be back now? Even Do Jun has long graduated and he is far younger than her.
I’m mainly concerned that she doesn’t pop back even for the wedding. And the family portrait with her in it got replaced with the wedding day one without her on the house wall. More importantly if she has any connection to the ML’s death in his first life, shouldn’t she have got involved in his second life sooner and not like maybe come back in the last week only. Also her ‘portrait’ isn’t included in the opening credits.
But I’ll wait for her now until we get back to present day. Thanks
Lee Sung Min has simply achieved legend status with his performance today. His presence is out of this world.
Watch him in King2Hearts, an older but great drama.
His role there isn’t long, but impactful and he’s got a much warmer character there. (His eldest son is also in that drama but plays a nutcase villain)
She exists alright. But has become an unmentioned ghost. (Although this drama does have a problem remembering all its characters. It keeps giving the out of sight, out of mind feel. It’s heavily plot driven and neglecting the emotional value and relationships department. - Actors do make up for it, particularly Lee Sung Min who is living and breathing his role.)
Granddaughter is roughly the same age as the crazy grandson.
Look at the far right. Then go back and watch ep 1. Right after ML got knocked out in Turkey, the eldest grandson had a meeting with a woman (his cousin sister) who told him she knew HW/the ML had gone abroad to retrieve the illegal slush fund. The manager/director guy- ML’s direct boss (currently, in the past, still in a driver/assistant position to the eldest grandson)- who was responsible for covering up the stolen money and been fired, had apparently joined hands with this woman. (This scene made me think she was admitting to plotting ML’s murder in first life. But if she was anyhow involved, she’s disappeared far too long from the plot and thus ML’s life to make her relevant anymore. That is if she returns at all).
She is the second son’s daughter. (There’s a teenage version of her too, but she didn’t get any lines or significant screentime in the childhood timeline)
I don’t care about the whodunnit regarding all the murder/murder attempts on the ML…
BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GRANDDAUGHTER?
Anyone? Anyone with scoop on this?
It’s been 11 episodes. At this point she’s definitely written out of the show. Even the original family portrait has been replaced with the wedding day family portrait without her. We saw her like once, in the first episode. And then there’s been no mention of her. She’s not even in the opening credits theme of the cast (granted neither is the ML’s comic relief brother, but the short look we got into the granddaughter, told us she is just as involved in the business politics and thus a relevant suspect and character).
Anyone who read the original web novel tell us what her role was and how much it mattered?
Seo Kang Joon is INFJ, not INFP — source Seo Kang Joon, not some speculative article
But yeah MBTI is one of those gimmicks that people like to mess around with but isn’t defining. I think it’s a new trend in SK since the blood type personality thing

I haven’t watched this years Shadow Detective yet which has these 2 in it again. But when I was so excited to see them reunited on RR
Look at Eun Woo’s lol. “Introvert as a celebrity but extrovert in his normal civilian identity”
Please have nice and exciting dreams kids so I can watch this drama without cringe
And both have loyal fans wishing them well and a happy birthday !
I remember the Mouse days. And pretty sure if I look up, there’ll also be ship videos for Lee Dong Wook x Im Si Wan from Strangers from Hell…
They’re the same age in real life, but the make up and mostly acting convinces the grandfather is older

Damn they really did mention SJK. (But his wife did, he rejected the idea ahahaha)

(Context: Last time there was a comment asking if we were going to be told by mdl’s articles about Reborn Rich’s ratings every week)
