i can't move on as well. I'm currently listening to the OST :) I'm hoping for Season 2. Arthdal Chronicles, which…
In my case, the ending was happy because none of the main characters died. I was expecting Jo Yeong and/or Shin-jae to die so I was happy with what happened. If other viewers were nonplussed with the ending, then the more it would warrant a second season then :)
There has been talk of sabotage against KES by other writers, so I'm not surprised of talk about her "croaking". Too bad, they can't make those who were drawn into the world of TKEM believe it. The drama is a masterpiece, able to generate such an interest in it that even those who hate it can't leave it alone.

Though the ending was "happy" there were unanswered questions, like, did Lee Gon abdicate before his subjects got suspicious that he was not getting old? Who did he leave the throne to? Also, it would be great if Lady Noh's efforts for the Royal Ancestral Line would be rewarded :) So, KES could come up with some reason for Lee Gon's grandfather to come back from wherever he is (he would also be eternal so I assume he is still roaming the universe) and change the past where he would make it possible for Tae-eul to be born in Corea and Luna to be in Korea so TE can become LG's queen. Perhaps the reason for King Haejong's re-appearance would be the existence of some evil beings like the whitewalkers in GOT that would threaten the universe and only TE's legendary hope would be able to defeat them. Please KES, with time travel and alternate universe at your disposal, the possibilities are endless :)
i can't move on as well. I'm currently listening to the OST :) I'm hoping for Season 2. Arthdal Chronicles, which cost more than TKEM and was not as big an international hit, has been renewed for a second season. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
One of the most vilified product placements in the drama went like this. Lee Gon was in a hotel talking to Tae-eul over the phone while TE was driving on the job. LG: Now, I'm headed to the fridge. It's time for coffee. TE: The fridge? You should've called me when you were leaving his place to go to the hotel. LG (after a moment of silence): Uh? TE (alarmed): What? What happened? Hello? What's wrong? Did you get hurt? LG: It's not that. I'm just surprised. The coffee Yeong got tastes just like the one I drink at the palace (close up of coffee). Rich at the beginning and clean at the end. This is sold in stores here? TE (exasperated): Are you kidding me? I know which hotel it is. I'm in the area now. I'll give you ten minutes. Come down right now. (hangs up the phone) LG (smiling): So my theory was right. I have to irritate her to see her.
Those who were immersed in the story would have been amused by Lee Gon's ploy to see Tae-eul. Those who were not apparently just saw the coffee.

And that seemed to be what kept happening. As shown in the timeline, every week, controversies were published or re-published. The wound kept getting re-opened.

koreahereald republished the controversies on 5/18. The next episode aired on 5/22. Three things could have happened relating to the republication (1) the English article was a translation of a Korean article (2) The English article was translated to Korean and published in Korean media (3) Koreans read the English article. In any case, by 5/18, the media was already aware that the controversies around the show were pushing audiences away. Re-publishing the controversies, even after the apologies, was similar to reopening a fresh wound.
Okay I have already said everything that has to be said about everything going on here so I'll just copy paste…
One of the trolls, named Charlotte89, was anti-TKEM. She harassed me, then deleted some of her comments, probably so they would not appear as [deleted] when the admins delete them. Too bad for her I still have the notifications. The other troll, named pcherlotte767, pretended to be me, even copying my profile photo. She harassed at least one other TKEM defender who thought it was me. Its purpose seemed to be to be obnoxious to other commenters who would think it was me.
Not really as even if they share the same Ip they could use a cafe, a school, the library etc. All emails attached…
I was, in fact, accused of creating those accounts, so I wanted to at least prove how ridiculous that is. Also, one of the troll accounts, pcherlotte767, copied my profile photo and had been pretending to be me but was obnoxious. At least one user had already accused me of doing something I didn't do. So does the site just ignore such aggravations?
do you remember what she said? i remember her saying TKEM was a masterpiece and tried to ram it down your throat. did she call you names? i'm trying to find out how obnoxious pcherlotte767 made me out to be. it seems that was the reason that troll was created.
it really is not cool saying something before telling the other person off. for one thing, i never called anybody "mentally unstable". if other defenders did, i did not see it because I don't have time to read everybody's comment in this section. but i never claimed critics were nastier than defenders so it's a moot point.
i tried to stick to the topic (TKEM) until recently when somebody created a troll named pcherlotte767 who pretended to be me and apparently made me appear excessively obnoxious. That is why I want to know what you saw so I would have an idea how obnoxious pcherlotte767 was. I saw one post of hers claiming TKEM was a masterpiece and fighting with another defender who did not think so too. I wanted to know if that was what you saw, or if she said something worse elsewhere.

those controversies kept hobbling the poor show. the controversies hit SK viewers' patriotism which can explain why the ratings were low in SK but Netflix figures overseas were high
i don't know how many times i've said this. just because you don't accept somebody else's side of the argument doesn't mean the answer wasn't given. i remember we were going around in circles because you refused to accept my opinion until it became tedious and since i had already said my piece, there was no point repeating it.
