i don't see where this animosity is coming from. please re-read my note to you. i just explained the reason for my use of the term "hater" which i noticed other commenters also used for the same reason. And I even asked what a better term would be. can you remember what i said in the comments that you called bs? i noticed your account was created June 16. it seems to be about the time a troll named pcherlotte767 that had my profile photo was commenting on other people's posts. he/she pretended to be a TKEM super-fan and even fought with another defender for not praising TKEM enough, something I never do. if you can recall what comment raised your hackles, we can find out if it was pcherlotte767

A real defender of the show would not call other defenders fools and would not treat them like vermin that she would not want to be lumped with. Furthermore, somebody who really loves the show would not scoff at imagination. Fantasy and imagination go together. You actually sound like some other "defender" I recently encountered. Her name was pcherlotte767.

You bandy my name about and say your piece before claiming to take the high road. Taking the high road is not saying anything at all. Since you've said your piece, how's this for accusation, "Charlottes, all of you, only god knows how many accounts there are..." And I gave you factual information that you refused to accept. Just because you refused to accept them does not make them any less factual. Regarding "pleas to stop posting on every single criticism", can you show me those? In any case, you seem to forget what critics used to do to those who tried to defend the show - pounce on us. I have only been responding to those who have critiqued me and trying to make those who feel like they're weird for liking this show know they're not alone.

Can you show me where I name-called those who don't like the show? As far as I can remember, I only used the term "hater" and I have explained why - this is a comment section for TKEM. so the most logical term for those who hate it is hater. Would naysayer be better? critic? If you read my previous discussions with them, you would see how much worse I had been name-called. Have you seen a new user pretending to be a defender calling other defenders of this show fools? Yup, like that kind of name-calling. And critics were more aggressive about turning off newcomers before I pointed out that a comment section should not be discouraging people from giving the show a chance but instead let people draw their own conclusions. Some critics did follow this. But a lot of newcomers still come to this section feeling like there is something wrong with them for liking the show, so I try to let them know other people like it.

Oh, the troll comment. It was obviously a troll whose account had already been deleted. Its name was pcherlotte767 with the same profile photo as I have. It was rather obvious.

If calling people who hate the topic of this comment section "haters" is bad, you should read what the fans of this show have been called - much, much worse. This is why just a few dare voice positive comments.

I have been defending the show to counteract the negativity of critics who had been encouraging others to drop it or discouraging them from trying it. Try to read earlier comments. It was much worse before, with criticisms being rammed into others' throats by several people, not just one. I have also been trying to let others know there are people who like it. If you read some comments, some are even wondering if they're weird for liking this show which is getting pummeled in its own section.

Actually, she was the one who accused me first. I was not going to answer her even when she had been disparaging me in her comments. She had even talked against me with other commenters , the version of online "back-biting", but I had ignored all of those. However, what she said here goes beyond the bounds of acceptability.

Have you heard of other commenters disparaging others in their comments? Re-read her comment. She had done that several times to me. Imagine other commenters doing that to you.

My apologies if I sounded like "I jumped on you". Could you show me how I did that? It would be easier for you to look for it since you would have gotten the notification. It's almost impossible wading trough this section. I tried to just be positive about the show to offset the negativity in this section, where every positive comment seems to be jumped on by a bunch of critics. One time I went to bed at 5 am responding to critics who jumped on some positive comments I made.

Is there an admin or moderator in this comment section? Two accounts recently sprouted trolling me, pcherlotte767 and Charlotte89. pcherlotte767 had already been reported and i see her comments have been deleted. Now, somebody is accusing me of having created these accounts. Surely there is a way to find out which other account in this site these other accounts are associated with?

yeah, I fall In Love is also good. :) The music is what made me fall in love with the show . That is why I liked what other viewers complained about as slow scenes like when Maze was being played while they were in the library. I also found the combination of slow-mo and music in other scenes delightful

It was pcherlotte767 and she was a troll. She used my profile photo and was pretending to be me but was rather obnoxious of her "adoration" of the show. Other users saw her comments. She had been reported and her comments deleted.

I once read that Japan and China are feeling Korean film competition and are pushing back, but not sure about this. Regarding 8%, I assume you mean the rating after episode 10? The ratings before that were 5.8, 6.3, 6.4. So 7.8 was already on the way up. But after koreaherald republished the controversies, the rating went down to 5.2

the controversies made a big deal of the imperial seal and temple (that was onscreen for like 1 second) having Japanese influence. They took advantage of SK viewers' patriotism . Then in episode 6, they did the same things when they pointed out that the Corean and Japanese warships had the same design (how many ordinary viewers do you think noticed that???). This angered SK viewers more. The production team issued apologies at both times. But after episode 10, when the ratings were recovering, koreaherald republished the controversies.

imo TKEM is on another level. If the production was not undermined by those controversies, the SK viewers would not have gotten turned off, the ratings would not have gone down (it was 12% before the controversies hobbled it). And with high ratings, people would not have been quick to pan it. It's the bandwagon effect.

I refrain from name-calling. The only disparaging remark I made in this comment section is calling those who hate the show "haters" which is really quite logical
