On The King: Eternal Monarch Jun 7, 2020
Episodes 14 and 15 just blew me away. As the king exhorted the mathematicians in Corea to find beautiful solutions and answers, I hope KES found a beautiful solution for this drama that would not break the hearts of its fans.

The Lee Lim in 1994 killed the time-traveling one from 2020. Then the 1994 Lee Lim continued to live as what happened in episode 1 and subsequent episodes

The Lee Lim of 1994 killed the time-travelling Lee Lim from 2020. Then the 1994 Lee Lim did not go back to 1994 when he got to 2020, which suggests the time of death depends on one's choices, and is not predetermined.

I agree, the best way to appreciate this drama is to watch it closely, not think about how it compares with other dramas, or whether some other actors/actresses could have played the parts betters or whether it adheres to some kind of standard elements for kdramas. Just focus on it, try to understand the story, watch the characters' facial expressions, laugh at funny scenes, marvel at the stunning cinematography, feel the music, listen to the poems. It's a masterpiece.

I am frankly offended for GOT and Star Wars fans. You are basically saying that KTEM shows how the villains move…
at the start of the drama, i actually liked the PM and thought her a model of a strong woman. I applauded her conduct at the cabinet meeting, especially when she said, "I'm the Prime Minister, not the representative of a party", mirroring my own views about public officials. But I didn't like the dirty politics she played, wiretapping, blackmailing, etc. Just because it is normally done in politics doesn't mean it's right. But I'm all for redemption. If she gets redeemed later on, I'm all for it.

One of the best things about Star wars is the redemption of Anakin Skywalker.

and when Eun-sup realized Jo Young liked Myeong Seung-a (he remembered how Jo Yeong described her), he told her not to give her number to somebody else. He was flirting with her on behalf of JoYeong, hahaha! He is so heartwarming, so unlike Jo Yeong, the twins knew right away it was him

how the hell did Lee Gon time travel so easily to the past but has to wait months to get back to present?! What…
1. This is what the Yoyo boy told Song Jeong Hye:
"When the Manpasikjoek becomes one inside the gate, both the axes for time and space simultaneously form inside the gate. When the Manpasikjeok becomes whole, it takes you to the moment when you wish to save yourself... Both the king and the traitor were taken to the same point in time. The night of the treason."
When LG and LL were both in the gate, both axes for time and space formed. When LG has only his half of the flute, he can only move laterally in space.

2. Probably he wants people indebted to him so he can use them? In episode 14, the pregnant lady was ready to do anything for him. I'm not sure what his grand plan is, but it seems he wants immortality and power

3. There were two versions of Lee Lims in episode 14:
LL1 is the Lee Lim in episode 1, the one who time-traveled back to 1994 in episode 14. LL2 is the Lee Lim in 1994 in episode 14, i.e. the one who did not time-travel. LL2 killed the time-travelling LL1.

It's quite polarizing. I thought it was the best drama ever and was so surprised to find others are equally as passionate about it, but in the opposite direction. But, to each his own. It's a good case study for different tastes

actually, time did freeze that first time LG crossed the portal - Lee Lim saw his paint bowl freeze. In this case, time would have frozen 25 seconds. I wonder if it froze while Maximus was in mid-air, in which case LG would have been thrown over. Or probably Maximus also did not freeze because LG was touching him? I am leaning more towards the latter; otherwise, LG would have known earlier that crossing the portal has time-freezing effect

each passing episode leave me with more confusion then answers .I have a question , If Time stops nothing move…
Based on discussions about time stops, it's possible time does not stop every time someone passes through the portal. Also, the duration time stops has been increasing each time it freezes. When LG passed the portal the first time, that would have been at the latest the third time-freeze (explained in the discussion thread below). If time froze at that time, the duration would have been 25 seconds. The discussion thread is here: https://kisskh.at/discussions/the-king-the-eternal-monarch/48711-explanation-on-the-duration-of-exponential-time-stop-and-the-relevance-of-euler-s-number
