A makjang investigation-law-business-family-revenge story mixed with over-the-top comedy, slight romance and easy, unpolished writing. Strong & promising start, lukewarm middle and annoyingly average ending. Not bad, but nothing memorable either. The ending dance scene was the best part!
Promising and ambitious start, but somewhere in the middle kinda lost its track and the continuous switching of the different timelines made it confusing rather than exciting or mysterious. However, the outstanding performances of the cast, the gripping music and cinematography and the high quality production made this story very enjoyable and thrilling.
Slow-paced, without a clear plot, but so quirky, eccentric and surrealistic that makes it impressively cool. Those glimpses of the life of the adorably absurd Haruno family is truly a cup of tea with a very unique, unforgettable taste.
Fast-paced, with some good action scenes and some funny moments (and some not so funny ones^^). Nothing very memorable, but overall an entertaining weekend movie watch.
A slow-paced, art-house movie exploring loss, grief and letting go. With an impressive cinematography as its central ingredient and powerful performances from Ono Machiko and amateur Uda Shigeki, this was a sad, difficult film to watch, but the beautiful scenes of the waving grass and the mystical sounds of the wind travelling through the forest trees were definitely worth watching.
He never disappoints - his acting is always exceptional!

Great work as always!

Adding the rest in my PTW list :)

I cannot wait for you until you're 25.
But I have waited for you my whole life."
A delicate, emotional depiction of an innocent young love, beautifully filmed and acted.
