Subtle yet powerful, realistic and melancholic, this coming of age film deals with the lives, friendship, bonding, drifting apart, loss of innocence and moving on of a group of five girls, after their school graduation. The mellow cinematography of the port city of Incheon and, as expected, Bae Doona stole the show.
"To fail of to succeed. You'll never know unless you start".
A stylish and intense political thriller full of deception, corruption and injustice. It had some pacing problems and too many characters and connection to follow, but its stellar cast and the revenge plot definitely made up for it.

A refreshing, quirky and beautifully written story about family, relationships, friends and personal growth. Great cast, even greater dialogues and some very relatable situations. Time well spent :)
Thank you so so much, dear friend :)I'm sorry, but I just could not help myself with this article. Citing one…
That would be a great idea if we both didn't have other more urgent obligations! But, in my mind, I keep trying to cast the perfect j-actor for the role XD
What a fascinating concept and a superb cast choice! 👍 Most of my faves are included 🥰 Now I really wish some Japanese directors / writers/ producers read your exemplary article and make it real... 🎥 I'm sure it'll be as funny and exciting as the original was (at least for all of us who watched it as kids XD) Good job, dear friend!!!
I haven't realised that some of my most fave j-titles are the works of this talented writer! Thanks a lot for this informative, well-crafted article :)
A simple but innovative story where little girls can dream their ideal older brothers and get them! Fast-paced, funny, with vivid, surrealistic colouring and setting, Though I found it really awkward in the beginning and thought that the way it explored some brother-sister and family stereotypes was too light and romanticised, I couldn't help but keep on watching looking forward to know what's going to happen next, mainly because of the two main characters: Miko and Toi were adorable and so cute together :)
Cozy, feel-good, soothing and very heart-warming, this little gem was a breath of fresh air among all the angsty, full of cliches autumn dramas. It almost feels as if I watched a slice-of-life j-drama, if you know what I mean ^^ A great watch, with every episode being a treat to the soul, and not only for coffee lovers like me!
I had so much fun reading it, especially your tolerance level chart! So unique idea!

Not the most realistic but believable and entertaining.
Time well spent :)
I'd really love to read more 'spontaneous' articles like these!
Now the theme song is stuck in my head... 🤣
