On Bread of Happiness Aug 23, 2021
Warm, peaceful, mellow and comforting, with the picturesque scenery of Hokkaido and various bread creations being the main protagonists!
On Lion no Oyatsu Aug 23, 2021
A delicate, heartfelt and very emotional story of the last days of a young woman's life in a hospice, her bonding with the patients/guests and personnel, her reconciliation with her family and her regrets, her growth.
Beautiful life lessons in the stories of all hospice's 'guests' revealed through their Lion Snack choices, wonderful cinematography, writing and acting.
Strongly recommended!

Title Hope
A sharp social commentary on the effect of rumors, doubts and public opinion in people's lives and relationships.
The most intriguing element was the depiction of each character's different hopes/wishes derived from their different motivations.

On What Did You Eat Yesterday? Aug 21, 2021
A realistic, honest and very heart-warming rom-com about a mature gay couple in a long-term relationship, cleverly seasoned with slice of life and food genre elements.
Not the typical fluffy, fan-servicing and exaggerated BL mass-production dramas, but a well-crafted story with emotional depth, beautifully written and masterfully fleshed characters and delicious food.
Wholeheartedly recommended!
On 1 in 10,000 (Act III) Aug 17, 2021
'Because the past ten years I've waited to see you again have felt like I've waited ten thousand lifetimes.'

I really liked how this 3 part short film was a character rather than sexuality focused love story!
On 1 in 10,000 (Act II) Aug 17, 2021
'Even if you don’t believe in yourself, I believe I you.'

I really liked how this 3 part short film was a character rather than sexuality focused love story!

'You have to live 10 000 lifetimes to get a chance to meet your soulmate.'

'Life isn't limited by just statistics and numbers.'

I really liked how this 3 part short film was a character rather than sexuality focused love story!

he is not the youngest hahaha he is 3 years older than nam jihyun
Really? I thought he was younger... but, in any case, they both were very good!
On The Witch's Diner Aug 14, 2021
An interesting story about wishes, choices, regrets and possibilities.
Great production, atmosphere and color palette.
Special mention to Chae Jong Hyeop’s performance: though he is the youngest and least experienced, he stole the most spotlights :)

alright! I also pick them up from time to time. I see you watched the experimentals? they are flashy, spinny and…
Couldn't agree more! I guess I had to tick them off from my list ^^

I guess there's a difference in what everyone finds as funny or hilarious.
Not my kind of humour, I dare say :)
