A binge-worthy survival game of high quality production. Definitely not a masterpiece or something very memorable, as it had some noticeable pacing, plot and reasoning problems, but overall it was an entertaining watch, perfect for a weekend at home :)
Quirky, with a refreshingly unique approach, it got my complete attention after only a few minutes. Those six fast-paced, short and compact plotted episodes weren't enough...
I had this movie in my PTW list for ages but I couldn't bring myself to watch it. Was I right? Yes. Do I regret watching it? Definitely not.
One of the most intense, devastating, heart-wrenching films I've ever watched... Unbelievable performances, especially from wonderful child actress Lee Re, and a story that gives hard punches in the gut with the cruelty and injustice of these real life events it describes.
I'd been putting off starting this drama for a long time because I knew it was heavy, deep, dark and very very sad, so I needed to be in the right mood for it. But, some recent posts about it and my autumn blues made me decide to watch it - and I binged it in a day.
Nothing much to say about this painfully beautiful masterpiece: story, dialogues, production, acting were perfection. Nagayama Eita and Mitsushima Hikari were beyond superb!
A great performance from Park Soo Ae! Though the script was rather weak and superficial, the beautiful emotionally charged cinematography and action scenes made this movie quite entertaining.
A sharp social commentary on modern (Japanese) society set in a dystopian mysterious town. Intriguing and witty, with an aesthetic cinematography, some pacing problems and a lot of food-for-thought.
A touching story of overcoming one's imperfections and frustrations, as well as the importance of expressing one's thoughts and feelings through words.

Some of my fave writers and dramas are included and I really liked your analysis and perspective about them :)
Some parents really have to teach their kids a lesson or two...

I've already watched two of them after reading it 😉
Thanks for sharing :)
I'm sure part 2 will be a great read too!
Looking forward to part 2 :)
Great job, both of you xD
