Yet you people see no problem with what Jennie Panhan CONSTANTLY does. Shes making dark skin women and trans women…
There is really no point arguing with you. You obviously chose to be defensive for absolutely no reason and downplay what others may be offended over. You calling something that directly affects me as a feminine gay man negatively a "non-issue" but expecting me to respect and care about the issue you chose to highlight is so extremely dumb and hypocritical. And no, it's not either we talk about all problematic shit or we talk about none at all... that's just literally not how that works. You may be gay but your bio says you're female meaning that your use of "you people" can still come off homophobic towards gay men or feminine gay men specifically.

People all have issues they care about and wish to highlight. You choosing to play down an issue just to raise one that you care about does nothing for your cause. People are allowed to be angry at more than one thing at once (shocking right?). So me pointing out one issue does not mean that I don't care about another. And you insinuating MULTIPLE TIMES that I simply don't care about colorism within these shows is wrong and disrespectful. You also keep making such general statements and absolute claims like "NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT" oh, you would know cause you're an omniscient and omnipotent god right? WRONG.

I'm not interacting with you. Obviously, you have no ounce of respect for issues that affect anyone other than yourself. If it bothers you so much that I chose to write on an issue that I care for and that you think isn't an issue whatsoever, you could've very easily just scrolled and ignored. And yet... here we are.

Ooohh! Well maybe? I have noticed that the humour in comedy shows like YYY is a bit slapstick and over the top so I guess that might play a part.

I don't care what anyone says, I love Boyo and Boom! I feel like Boom should finally leave Tor. Some people may think what he did this episode was good of him but I don't. He had already gone out with Music, let her get too close, ignored Boom's call, and then decided to draw the line right then and there? Like why not before? Why go out to play pool in the first place tf. Also, Music is a POS. Boom deserves better whether it may be with Tor's brother (which would be a messy outcome but he seems like a nice guy) or by herself. Boyo should not get back with either Safe or Good in my opinion. I was kind of wary of what type of character Locker would be but I'm liking him a lot so far and I ship him with Boyo.

Also, why do people ship Earth with Stud?????? Y'all want him to go from one toxic relationship right into another??? My dream end for Earth would be that he is happy and single and finally away from that spineless asshole sam. Very excited for that one scene shown in the preview for episode 9. Sorry, Bew ;).

What, colorist? I don't know if they're generally like that. But still doesn't make it okay.

It's the way you put words in my mouth and made completely unbased assumptions about me for me. I specifically mentioned this issue of feminine gay men portrayal in BL because it applies to this show and this episode. Why would I mention Jennie or colorism where it doesn't apply? As a black person, who literally constantly talks about colorism and racism whether it be in regards to dramas or otherwise, I find it really funny you chose to assume that I do not care about colorism.

In regards to Jennie, I don't see your issue with her specifically. She is a dark skinned trans women who is cast in a variety of roles (see her role as Angel of Death in The Shipper vs. Mae in 3 Will Be Free). She is more often cast in comedic roles because she is, as you said, a comedian. I'm not going to argue whether that represents a bigger issue in Thai media or not but if that is something you personally don't like, then obviously advocate against it WHERE IT APPLIES. Not under a comment that has nothing to do with it. Also the way you said "the lead character is effeminate. Is that not good enough for them?" and your use of "you people" came off homo/queerphobic because who exactly is 'them' and 'you people'? Extremely rude and uncalled for.

Either way, you should learn to read to comprehend not read to react otherwise you're not gonna make any sense (like you aren't right now).

I guess that scene was just used as a plot device to show the audience the type of hypermasculine macho guy tonhon is... but this is becoming somewhat of a pattern I don't like. People in the comments are making it seem like we are saying feminine gay people cannot harass (which is not true). But that's not the case, the problem comes when the only representation of feminine gay men comes from scenes like this where they are harassing straight men or those "lighthearted" scenes where they are all over and invading the privacy of the hot main character or like the school's heartthrob or something. That added on to the fact that gay men, especially feminine gay men, are always forced to deal with the stereotype of being harassers/predators just makes it worse. I really want tropes and cliches like this to stop being so overused in BLs. (I MENTIONED FEMININE GAY MEN SPECIFICALLY BUT THIS ALSO APPLIES TO TRANS WOMEN (and to some extent cis women))

Love how Chon isn't necessarily a masc gay himself lol. And the fact that he knows he's gay is also nice for a change.

Khem.... my baby :((((. I really wonder how it's gonna end with him since there are only 2 episodes left. He deserves the world even though he was a POS to his sister in the beginning. Phu and Kao were real cute in this episode. Phu's stoic and almost robotic demeanor is starting to get annoying. Like I know he isn't supposed to be the most expressive of characters but where is the character development? I was happy though when he cupped Kao's face. Finally some show of affection!

I mean we're still in a pandemic...so it's easier to do shows that revolves around it, instead of putting staff…
There are many ways a non covid related show can be made without endangering staff. I said I'm over it as a personal statement meaning *I* (as in me, myself, and I) am not interested in such shows anymore. Not that they should stop making such shows just because I'm not interested in them.

I could not watch this episode without pausing every 5 seconds. So much tension. Scared about how this will play out. I'm hoping Jim breaks up with Yana next episode if he's going to be all lovey-dovey with Ben. I hate cheating. Leo is making me scared.

People are giving bad ratings because they feel emotionally manipulated and are upset by these old fashioned tropes.…
That makes sense that it coould be interpreted in that way. Didn't think of the possibility that this might make suicidal queer kids even more suicidal.

You're just saying that because this is not your cup of tea. I think you have been exposed with all the NC scenes…
Thought as much but just wanted to make sure cause I have no idea why people wouldn't like this show cause it isn't NC...

A pretty good one actually. Don't come out if you don't know how safe it will be for you. I am almost a 100% sure I would be kicked out if my parents found out I am gay, and as someone who is not ready for that, I'm obviously not going to come out to them until I know I can stand on my own or have a backup plan. Young gay people shouldn't be encouraged to come out whenever and wherever. Safety come first.

kind of over covid related shows at this point omg. But I'll still give it a shot. The trailer was insanely chaotic but pretty interesting looking.

Instead of an overshot basketball and a fractured arm? Lol I get that. But I guess when everything has been piling…
Wait you're right! I was thinking about it more like an isolated incident but it definitely was the last straw for Pai I'm guessing after everything that Itt has done and said.

Pure has a predilection to be in a committed relationship -- it's just that first boyfriend of his stood by while…
I never thought about it that way. It makes sense that he would get some sort of satisfaction from that.
