Although Pure and Folks' story is rushed, I'm still actually liking it quite a lot. I don't mind so much anymore that Waan and Pure aren't endgame. Itt and Pai....sigh. Not much to say. That "I hate you" scene was underwhelming sadly. I expected more anger from Pai and I expected the reasoning for him saying that to be a bit more... interesting I guess?

I understand what you mean sort of but this is a really faulty argument. Just like thebigofan said, it doesn't really matter what the audience believes. Harry Potter is widely loved whether the people who watch it believe in witches and wizards or not. I also don't see how the show pushes such a trope. They didn't die because of their love or being gay, they died as a result of the people around them being homophobic. This is more of a warning against homophobia than a warning against being gay. Ken and Shake aren't the ones suffering for their actions, the mom is. I wish Sandee was suffering more for her actions as well but whatever
I don't like those extremely unnecessary side characters that do nothing for the plot. They're offensive and not funny enough to be comedic relief. I don't know what the writers were thinking. Other than that the show is pretty alright. It's late again today.

I honestly haven't seen anyone who doesn't like this show complaining about it because of the lack of 18+ scenes. That's just an assumption that overlooks all the very valid reason why some people are not into the show.
Anyone else realize no one was in the frame of the ending credits for this ep when Karl and Vlad are usually have been sitting on the couch there for like every other episode?

This is making me really want to read the novel! Cause it seems to me like the personalities in the novel fix everything that I don't like about the personalities in the series lol. And I definitely agree that Waan is the best-written character in the show.

Thanks for explaining the difference between the books and the show. I'm also excited but also anxious to see how they reconcile the two in such a such a short number of remaining episodes after Pai says what he's going to say. Hopefully they don't mess up Itt's confession cause I really think how they do it could really be a make it or break it moment for the drama.
I've personally just been skipping lmao. But this isn't all that BL has to offer recently so don't feel too disappointed!!
I agree with jpn101. Gaya sa Pelikula, Hello Strangers and Gameboys are really good. I've heard very good things about I Told Sunset About You as well. There is also Cherry Magic (AKA 30-sai made doutei dato mahoutsukai ni narerurashii) which is an extremely cute and well made BL as well.
Very confused as to how any of this will end satisfyingly. Like at this point with how drawn out the story is, I could care less if Itt and Pai get together. It's just a really weird promise and premise. I wish the best for Waan and PurexFolk didn't happen early enough in the story for me to be as invested in their ship so idk. A Waan and Pure pairing still makes so much more sense.
Am I the only one who doesn't mind the whole side thing with Khim, Khem, and the two doctors. I don't know, it's a whole ass mess but that's what makes it so intriguing to me. I wanna know who gets together in the end in that whole quadruplet foursome mess. This is honestly just another show suffering from side couple syndrome. Phu and Kao are really carrying the story on their shoulders.
