YWY: Do you remember me? me: flips everything, leave her YWY and come to me ;(
Haha! Yeah, I know. They play that song every time there is a sentimental moment between the two. I've been singing it out loud at times. But now, did you notice? Yan Xun and Chu Qiao also have a song.

Does this get better ? because i'm on ep 3 and everything looks and sounds fake and over the top so far.
Then don't watch it. It's a style thing and it's clearly not your style.

I feel bad for the adorable Princess. She's so sweet to YX, helped him every time she can and remained on…
I actually still find her annoying. I mean, girl, have some sense. His ENTIRE family was BRUTALLY massacred by your father. Don't go on a visit and throw a tantrum bc he's not "happy" or "joking" with you. Like, seriously? Credit to Yan Xun for not smacking her. I mean, I get what she was doing but, hey girl, too soon. If you have to mourn for a member of a family for a year then that's about 10 years he still has to go before he feels better. There were ALOT of heads on the stage.

Title Princess Agents Spoiler
I feel so bad for Yuwen Yue. I should be feeling bad for Yan Xun, but I am just like poor Yuwen Yue.
Yes, but that's his character flaw right? Every hero has a tragic flaw that he must fix as the story progresses. YWY doesn't trust anyone and doesn't ask for anyone's help. He thinks he can solve every problem for everyone, esp for people he cares about. That's why he didn't tell Yan Xun what the emperor was thinking - bc he thought he could fix it and change the emperor's mind. He also didn't tell Xing'er about the truth of Linxi's death (I have a feeling there is more to his death, i.e., Linxi knew he was dying and asked YWY to kill him). And bc he couldn't tell her his grandfather was alive he couldn't tell her that his grandfather wanted him to send her off to Liang as a suicide spy. Instead, he says, I have to kill those Liang spies myself so Xing'er won't be sent away. He even gets injured during this process but Xing'er doesn't know all this. Therefore, she misunderstands him and takes drastic steps to gain her freedom and leave with Yan Xun. He needs to learn, and hopefully as the story progresses he will, learn to trust others more, to communicate and learn to lean on others. Both Yan Xun and Xing'er have their flaws too. But I think that's what's great about this story and it's working so well with the audience. It's a great story where all of the characters have flaws and the story is a journey that helps them to resolve, either to their benefit or otherwise, those flaws. That's classic storytelling and one that the viewer can get captivated by. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this drama.

I didn't watch this week episodes yet, but i saw some parts. when yuwen yue found xinger's ring in that…
I felt relief for YWY when the Eyes of God were burning down. I feel like he spent his whole life being cold and not trusting anyone or getting close bc of the responsibility of not only his family but as the keeper of all these secrets. (Remember the riddle he picked out during the lantern festival about secrets?). I feel like he felt freedom. He thought he lost the woman he cared about all bc of that stupid Eyes of God. I'm sure he was like, "F- this shit."

I just watched episode 24. And honestly Yan Xuan can be as evil as he wants at this point. They killed his whole…
Yeah, I usually don't cry over dramas but man, episodes 24 and 25 were brutal. I mean, both Yan Xun and Xing'er really suffered. I hope they get revenge. But I really want Xing'er to become her own leader, regain her powers, her identity and rightful position - whatever it may be, although I gotta think it's a lost princess bc why else would the title be "princess" agent.

YWY: Do you remember me? me: flips everything, leave her YWY and come to me ;(
I know! The look on his face! He thought she was dead for 3 years!! I'm like what??? Monday?? No!!!! I know it's no spoiler that they end up together at the end (look, this is in the Wikipedia page) but I know the drama doesn't follow the book and who knows what will happen in between! They're killing me! I know Xing'er has feelings for YWY. And he has done so much for Yan Xun and Xing'er behind the scenes. I hope she see that soon!

Hey fellow viewers and commenters, please put any potentials giveaway comments about the ending, including whether it'll be happy, sad, who Chu Qiao ends up with, what happens to whom etc. under "SPOILER." Especially if you are reading the book, please put any comments about differences between the book and the drama, what happens in the book, what you think will happen in the drama based on the book, etc. also under "SPOILER". If people want to read it, they can read it but for the rest of us we'd just like to watch the drama and not be spoiled. Thanks.

ZLY said that they only filmed 2/3 of the book, which sucks because I recently skimmed through the last 1/3 which…
Please put any comments about the ending of the story, especially if you are reading the book, under "Spoiler." I don't need to know whether the ending is going to be sad or happy or anything.

What else to watch until Monday?
I hear ya, I keep just wanting to rewatch the earlier episodes. But in the meantime, I think Fighter of Destiny is good. The plot and character development is good and is overall worth a watch. Aside from these two I have found the other Chinese dramas unnecessarily long and not engaging at all. Both Fighter of Destiny and Princess Agents came out this year. Both have good stories, good characters, good execution, and a return to wire work with less dependence on CGI. I'm hoping this is a good sign that Chinese dramas will have such higher quality going forward.

I saw the trailers for episodes 25 and 26. It's so heartbreaking and brutal. After seeing those, I feel like Yan Xun can have all the revenge he wants. Yuwen Huai was always despicable, but he hit a new low for me as far as villains go. I hope Yan Xun is the one who chops off his head at the end.

Can't wait for episodes 23 and 24 now. Ep 21 was awesome for Yuwen Yue and Chu Qiao. I feel like he needed a strong dose of "your girl is super mad at you and you better break out of that cool face to get her back before she runs off forever with a handsome devil with a killer smile." When she breaks the silver bells and screams at him not to call her Xing'er anymore, the look on his face was so funny to me. He looked like, "oh shit, she's pissed at me, what do I do, shit's going down now!" I feel like I see that look on guys' faces all the time. LOL

Yuwen Yue pretends to be cold, but he is just a big teddy bear inside.
Yeah right? It was such a funny moment. The look on his face was priceless. And I love the shopkeeper - he's so frank!

Does anyone else think that the guy in all black with the jade ring is Yuwen Yue's grandfather and that's…
Xing'er was not a maid before all this. She was forced into slavery with her "siblings" when the Wei army attacked the Jing family. Hence, the whole fight/belief in her about slavery and why it's bad. So I don't think it's the grandfather based on the reference to the maid alone. I actually think it was the backstabbing dude with the mustache that burnt the message from Yan Xun's dad to the King. He's super suspicious. Also, I think the man Chu Qiao fought in the opening scene and killed might have been Yuwen Huai's dad. Just matching up names with what we know from the novel sources.

Deciding to join the hype and watch this drama seeing the amount of comments here. And we're just 1/3 through…
It depends on your taste. I couldn't digest Eternal Love at all. I love a badass strong female leads in my dramas, especially one with a mysterious background to be revealed. I hate female characters that pretend to be tough but they always need a guy to save her. So this show had me in the first few minutes of the first episode. And Zhao Liying does a great job as Chu Qiao/Xing'er. Yeah it does spend some time with the unnecessary maid bickering thing but unlike other drams where they draw out that nonsense forever, they snip it pretty quick and there is a point to it for developing the main character. Also, Yuwen Yue didn't kill her brother. Her brother was already poisoned and was dying, he just ended his suffering.

Hi could someone tell me how many episodes per semaine? Is it 4 or 8? Thank you.
OMG, I hope they don't cut back the episodes! I'm already sad it's only 4 weekdays and not the full 5! Although, these 2 a day episodes are absolutely distracting!

Muahaha I bet after ep 21 y'all are climbing on the YanChu ship.
I do find Yan Xun adorable esp when he smiles at her, and I like her with both Yan Xun and Yuwen Yue but she definitely has more chemistry with Yue. And there are clear signs that they both really care about each other, esp Yue. Based on the scenes in eps 21, I get the sense that Chu Qiao has already developed feelings for him too.
