I started to read this web toon a while ago and thought it was great but I couldn’t continue it because it was only on Kakao. Glad they made it into a drama, wish I could still finish the webtoon, it was good.

Maybe you should open your mind about what looks “manly.” We’re no longer living in that century.

Thought it was a dude when I first watched the trailer thinking he looks familiar. Finally a gender bender where the FL looks convincingly like a guy. When you stand her next to the ML they look very similar.

It’s still on YT, hit 1 million views in 2 weeks. It’s actually really good. I’m sad it’s not being carried on Viki or IQIYI so more people can watch it

Came here after watching Creeping Love. He was excellent in it and had great chemistry with the FL. I wonder why the bio is not updated to include it.

He is quite underrated. Great young actor and he has such a fantastic voice. I could listen to him talk all day. Too bad he is the quiet introvert type lol

He reminds me so much of Wang Yibo, but a bit more relaxed and energetic Wang Yibo 😄

I really like him, he has good eye expression. I prefer him in modern dramas though, he stands out more and can be more charismatic in them

I really like her, wish she was in more things

Yeah I’m not. That’s what I said.

I really like this actress. Saw her for the first time in GtG and she was good with ZYR but like her better here. She has great chemistry with ZKY. I’ve liked ZKY from the show The Truth and then Sniper Butterfly. I think he is a talented actor and I love how his eyes are very expressive.

Ok, just watched the ending scenes on YouTube and y’all are a bunch of liars. This is NOT a happy ending. How is them dying and “meeting in the after life” a HE in anyone’s book? People are sick and twisted. Never watching this. I don’t care how great the story and acting are, I don’t need the trauma.

Does this have a HE for Zhou Yiran and Wang Yinglu’s characters? I just can’t do sad endings right now so if someone can honestly tell me that will be great.

How did he go from main roles to support roles. I really liked him in his earlier dramas when he was the ML

ML and FL don’t seem to have a lot of chemistry. I’ll have to keep watching to see if it changes.

No wonder I loved POJ. I’ve loved almost all of this director’s previous projects! Absolutely loved Blossom, Butterflied Lovers, A Familiar Stranger, Provoke and Destined to Meet You. I’m definitely a fan of this guy. I’ll have to watch for his other works.

Me! I feel like I’m catching a lot of stuff that I didn’t notice before. In some parts I even turn off the subtitles so I can focus on the scene. I’ve not rewatched a drama so fully like this in a long time so it’s nice. Of course, I think the rewatch value drops significantly after Ep 30 but it’s still good and I just speed past the QM craziness.

This is random but I think her butcher knives that her dad called their family “heirloom” was forged from his sphere tip. That’s why Xie Zheng was looking at it so carefully because it seemed more like military grade than kitchen knife material. I also think he later melted both knives down to make the two swords for FCY so that she could keep her family heirloom after one of the knives broke during her fight with Shu Yue.

In the novel, he acts as Prince Regent for 4 years then they move back to Lin’an. Based on how they are dressed at the very end I think they are still living in the Capital and was visiting the Zhaos for New Years. That’s how I took it.

Yes, I recommend it so you can understand the emotional ties the characters have to each other
