Title I'll Turn Back This Time Spoiler
This series broke my heart. Shenan finally sacrificially distanced himself from Shiwen to ensure Shiwen's safety. Whoever that statistic dude was that shared the "time loop" necklace and the parameters that they could never be together if Shiwen was to continue to live needs a rewrite. Apparently self denial and protecting his loved one was the ultimate outcome, but, man, that was sad. I could probably read a lot of life lessons into all the angst but I'm just not...repeat, just not! I'm not sure I will ever rewatch this. It was just too sad.

Title When It Rains, It Pours Spoiler
Someone had suggested that I missed the signs of abuse that Fujisawa perpetrated toward Sei. So, I watched the first six episodes objectively and played closer attention to the dynamics of their relationship. I think several commentators of the series must have read the original source material and had more detailed background. The adaptation of the original source material does not portray Fujisawa as an abusive a******. He's considerate, caring and solicitous of Sei. When they initially agree to live together, he up front told Sei an intimate relationship or marriage was not his intent., but that he wanted to be together "forever". As life often happens circumstances change. Sei fell in love and wanted a more intimate relationship. For whatever reason Fujisawa did not.

I wish I could read the Japanese novel. But, the producers of this series definitely have not portrayed Fujisawa as an uncaring individual. I was somewhat confused that he pressed on Sei's injured toe. There was a definite difference in the quality of touch between him and how Hagiwara gently
grazed the toe. The confrontation after Fujisawa erupted with jealousy implied non-consensual intercourse. Maybe in a novel that was the case. But in the adaptation there is the ambiguous scene of contrition about hurting Sei. Sei clearly forgave him. Logically with his very outspoken personality it doesn't seem he would do that if he'd been raped.

So, while several people have been very livid about the whole incident, I'm really looking forward to seeing what episode 7 reveals.

It may be a cultural issue. But in every culture, NO means NO! So YES, it was rape, even if Japanese law says…
Does Japanese law say otherwise?

The actor's is doing a really good job, for sure. I don't think there's anything wrong with the plot. Fujisawa's…
I hadn't caught that Fujisawa was abusive in the past. But, now that you expounded on it, I remember being curious about why he pressed on Sei's toe when it was obviously hurt. At first I thought perhaps it was concern, but then why would he press the broken nail cause the toe to become noticably swollen?

Fujisawa needs to die
That's harsh. He's been very caring toward Sei for years. Why he crossed the line in his behavior is debatable...not, of course, justifiable. Did he feel betrayed? Did he consider Sei "his" but was lacking in empathy about Sei's sexual frustrations? Sei stated that Fijisaea had a secret he wasn't sharing with him and that he had sex with someone else not only for sex but to also have a secret

My question is did Fujisawa rape Sei? Or, did Sei eventually comply and Fujisawa was too rough?

Fujisawa later said he didn't mean to hurt Sei and Sei implied forgiveness by reaching for Fijisaea's hand.

Obviously Fujisawa cares for Sei. When Sei mentioned a wanting a TV. Fujisawa immediately installed one in their apartment.

Did Fujisawa continually refuse to have sex because he wasn't interested in having sex with Sei or because he was uncomfortable with the idea of sex between men? What do you guys think?

Also, Hagiwara is a caring passionate man. He seems to be a good person. The actor portraying his part is exceptional.

I got confused on one dialogue at episode 6 where sei mentioned to fujisawa that "we can't come back" come back…
Sei's partner Fujisawa was extremely jealous. He had refused to do anything sexual with Sei in the past, but yet in anger was violently pursuing sex now because of his jealousy. They have been together for years caring for one another and being respectful. This nonconsensual sex would taint their relationship going forward. Sei didn't want their first sexual act to be shadowed by Fujisawa's anger and sense of betrayal.

The ML was off the charts handsome. I agree with the comment ,"Who wouldn't want to kiss him?". Apparently the FL. I understand her initial shyness, but she was too intelligent and too aggressive not to become more passionate. I get that this was suppose to be a lighthearted comedy, but the lackluster placement of her lips is poor acting. The ML in spite of his supposed inexperience became somewhat passionate, but the female lead didn't keep up.

*sigh* in a year with some incredible series and A LOT of letdowns, this series was a complete letdown. I remember…
You're right! Watching a Chinese BL as it airs is an exercise in frustration...especially if it gets zapped! In my opinion this one as a whole was excellent except for the rushed ending. I'm glad the couple reunited but it felt very rushed. And while the main couple were portrayed as convincing older, the secondary couple looked the same and were wearing the same clothes as 7 years earlier. They needed a little more aging.

Something went terribly wrong after episode 8
This particular BL didnt have any gratuitous sex scenes. It hardly had anything sexual..period. Most of the physical intimacy was caring and only mildly sensual. Considering the censorship restraints the story and the actors managed to create a realistic romantic relationship with both couples.

There comes a point where laws should be changed. I've raised 4 children. Sometimes you have to direct and possibly discipline children as they grow because their thinking processes are immature or uninformed. Discipline not physically abused! At some point good parenting allows their children to express themselves and live outside their parents expectations. Even prior to that point loving parents should be supportive of their children's interests. This "bullying them" until they do what YOU want them to do is wrong! Frankly the abusive SOB in this movie should rot in a nursing home later in life.

This was a very sweet BL, I loved the atmosphere and the actors. I just wished (and still hope) we had an extra…
I discovered that after the first 4 episodes China shut this story down. From what I've found-the series was picked up by Gagaoolala and completed airing all the episodes. It was so exceptional! It would have been a shame for it not to have been completely released. "Thank you, Gagaoolala!". Frustrated viewers definitely didn't need another "Addicted" debacle!

Were they Chinese posted items and due to the ban on homosexual movies, they were removed? That's scary wrong!

I have become an avid BL watcher. BL's come in varied story formats. This particular one portrayed some serious societal issues. I say all this to genuinely ask, "Why are some of the comments labeling this a LGBT series and not a BL. " It's both. Isn't that acceptable? Please explain the differing perspective regarding a LGBT series and a BL Series.

I'm actually enjoying this version. I do, however, feel disappointed that such a young actor was chosen for Pop. The acting seems really good. Pop is doing a good job but stragetically due to his young age the story can't develop more graphically. I adore Hero! Unfortunately, there is just too little nc scenes. There doesn't need to be blatant nudity, but a passionate mutual kiss would be more in line with the novel. I don't see this happening due to the 12 year age gap of the actors. Please, please don't slap the viewers in the face the way "Stay With Me" did and then didn't have a 2nd season to rectify the cliffhanger.

Episode 6 certainly offers different perspectives. It's really confusing though. With only 2 episodes left I hope the whole plot makes sense and isn't rushed.

Great seems like the spoiled rich college student in 6. Prior to this episode he seemed overly aware of his conscious considering his family's background. Korn seems to be drawn into the family's business as the oldest and the one required to maintain its income by any means. Korn may have originally cared for Kla, but it seems like Kla has become a convenience to him for sex and as an ego booster. Kla has become disillusioned with Korn and reaches out to Win during his grief and as a token for Win's support in uncoveringhis brother's killer. Tyme seems to basically be a decent person seeking revenge for his parents' deaths.

At this point the puzzle pieces are scattered and not fitting right. It should be interesting to see how this show will end. I don't envision a good romantic outcome for anybody. BOC is definitely putting together a complicated plot with terrific actors. It really seems 2 more episodes just aren't enough though.
