This is a good story with wonderful actors/actresses. Where can you watch it in the original language with English subtitles?

Personally because the Korean actors are so exceptional I prefer to read subtitles instead of dubbed series.

I enjoyed the drama in spite of several negative issues. The production itself was poorly done. The story even for a short drama could have been developed better. The English subs were atrocious.

The ML and FL did a good job with what they had to work with. The children were adorable. This drama had more potential.

Ke Chun is beyond gorgeous! He kisses like a dream. When I attempted to watch it on Iquiy under the title "What a Good Girl", I discovered I had to use a VPN for a different region other than the US. So glad I found the complete series on a platform that's reasonably priced!

Ok, let's get this out of the way. Both kisses so far have been hot! Seong and Daon --ooh, la-la! Su and Daon aggressive but sexual. In a Korean BL this is progress.

As far as character development: I hope Daon exerts his inner will and becomes independent and more healthy in his relationships. Right now he's like a bullied child that's vulnerable and attracts more abuse because of his weakness. Don't get me wrong I'm not blaming him or making him responsible for the abuse inflected on him by a sociopath or a violent entitled individual.

I see Seong as a protective loving partner who's willing to accept emotional crumbs because he loves so deeply. Which is not really fair to himself. Daon is a beautiful gentle soul struggling to achieve financial success and ultimately love. It's obvious he's confused yet drawn to Seong because Seong cares so deeply. Daon gave up on Jaimen because of Jae's earlier rejection when he confessed to him. Because he once cared for Su, Daon still has an attachment. However, Daon been traumatized by Su's violent criminal behavior in the past. He's convinced Su will be possessively violent in the future. Daon doesn't want Seong hurt. So, he does what he thinks will protect Seong. Daon's even trying to exert his independence in the face of Jae's past supposed generosity and support. Like so many people he has no concept of the extent of Jae's insanity. Who would? Jae has manipulated Daon for a decade with seemingly kind support. The extent of Jae's mental illness is totally concealed until Ep. 6.

I have no clue how this ends. But, a lot of Asian movies seem to have a patient concept of time. Ideally Daon travels overseas establishing his success and ability to develop a relationship with a healthy person and Seong waits for their reunion. The other 2 weirdos need a psychiatrist and a policeman.

I'm surprised after 'When it rains it Pours" how many people are rooting for Su. I feel sorry that he endured an awful father and mother, but that still doesn't excuse his entitled violent behavior. There's been more than one occurrence in real life where this obsessive attitude results in harm toward others.

I’ve been staring at butter knives like “seriously? all that with a butter knife?”… Pasta boy was like…
I thought the same thing: a butter knife, really!? He has to be 100% psycho to inflict damage on himself with a butter knife. That takes determination!

Su Hyeon is an abusive a**hole! He seriously needs his jaw jacked. I can understand Daon being gaslite by Jae Min, but, seriously dude...Su Hyeon is a hard "no"!

Seong Hyeon on the other hand is awesome. He's caring, considerate and protective. Daon seems like an intelligent gentle person. He, also, seems traumatized by past occurrences. I hope he stands up for himself and chooses the partner thats a healthy individual.

Question:WHYYYYYYY in so many Asian dramas (but espec K-dramas) do drivers not know how to use their brakes when…
Or, why does someone walk in the middle of the road or cross the street without checking that it's clear? I'm curious about the next 2 episodes.

In the 8th episode the only variable I understood was that if all the supposed rules were broken but she loves the guy, he will be ok. I still don't understand why all the bad stuff happens to begin with. Is she cursed or are the guys that love her cursed because they like her? What's the the reason for everything?

Title I'll Turn Back This Time Spoiler
This series broke my heart. Shenan finally sacrificially distanced himself from Shiwen to ensure Shiwen's safety. Whoever that statistic dude was that shared the "time loop" necklace and the parameters that they could never be together if Shiwen was to continue to live needs a rewrite. Apparently self denial and protecting his loved one was the ultimate outcome, but, man, that was sad. I could probably read a lot of life lessons into all the angst but I'm just not...repeat, just not! I'm not sure I will ever rewatch this. It was just too sad.

Title When It Rains, It Pours Spoiler
Someone had suggested that I missed the signs of abuse that Fujisawa perpetrated toward Sei. So, I watched the first six episodes objectively and played closer attention to the dynamics of their relationship. I think several commentators of the series must have read the original source material and had more detailed background. The adaptation of the original source material does not portray Fujisawa as an abusive a******. He's considerate, caring and solicitous of Sei. When they initially agree to live together, he up front told Sei an intimate relationship or marriage was not his intent., but that he wanted to be together "forever". As life often happens circumstances change. Sei fell in love and wanted a more intimate relationship. For whatever reason Fujisawa did not.

I wish I could read the Japanese novel. But, the producers of this series definitely have not portrayed Fujisawa as an uncaring individual. I was somewhat confused that he pressed on Sei's injured toe. There was a definite difference in the quality of touch between him and how Hagiwara gently
grazed the toe. The confrontation after Fujisawa erupted with jealousy implied non-consensual intercourse. Maybe in a novel that was the case. But in the adaptation there is the ambiguous scene of contrition about hurting Sei. Sei clearly forgave him. Logically with his very outspoken personality it doesn't seem he would do that if he'd been raped.

So, while several people have been very livid about the whole incident, I'm really looking forward to seeing what episode 7 reveals.

It may be a cultural issue. But in every culture, NO means NO! So YES, it was rape, even if Japanese law says…
Does Japanese law say otherwise?

The actor's is doing a really good job, for sure. I don't think there's anything wrong with the plot. Fujisawa's…
I hadn't caught that Fujisawa was abusive in the past. But, now that you expounded on it, I remember being curious about why he pressed on Sei's toe when it was obviously hurt. At first I thought perhaps it was concern, but then why would he press the broken nail cause the toe to become noticably swollen?
