I love crime dramas but ngl I started this bc I'm nosy and wanted to know what was up with those terrible top reviews lol. now that I'm done....eh. it was just ok. the earlier eps were gripping but I got extremely bored midway. I would've loved to see more of how they worked on the psychological aspects instead of wasting screentime on the reporters. not worth the praise imo

Disappointed to see that by the time I did get to the finale, they JUST became a couple....and in such an odd way. Would've looooooooved to see them together earlier on ;_;
I usually stay away from romance because they tend to get boring midway through and lean heavily on tiiiiiiiiiiiired tropes (miscommunication, building relationships with 2nd leads that'll never work out, wrong timing, FL/ML making stupid decisions, etc). This was definitely no exception. I ended up skipping 4-5 eps because I was bored out of my mind...but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the chemistry between the leads and the realistic acting/overall feel of the drama. Something about it felt warm and cozy...plus the ML was *chef's kiss*
this was a fun, entertaining weekend binge watch. sure, a lot of it made no sense but I just shut my brain off and enjoyed the ride. not nearly as great as kingdom of course but I liked it waaaaaaay more than sweet home and happiness for sure
watched this because of the comparison to avenger's social club. this doesn't even come close - the writing was very predictable and it took a lot of eps for the women to finally form their pact. overall, it was ok at best. only plus was the acting, particularly for qiao wei's character
i see your comments everywhere btw! :)
