definitely! 10-12 eps is tight enough for the writers to expand on the story without dragging for too long and adding unnecessary filler. part of the kdrama appeal is having a story contained in one season so i hope this trend doesn't continue

kind of agree with you on the lack of filler but the ending was still open enough to imply a 2nd season that we have to wait around for. i would've preferred just one season of 10-12 eps

i finally finished the leftovers recently. thought this drama was gonna go more that route and was thoroughly underwhelmed. it's like it had all the elements but glossed over them all in a very rushed and cliched way

Couldn't agree more. The female lead is a very stiff actress that can't show emotion well and the older male lead was underutilized. They transitioned between old/young more in the early eps and then completely abandoned the idea midway through
