They already made it clear what the ML is doing us called two timing multiple times. Showing something as it is and glorifying it are two different things.
They haven't shown anything romantic between the mother and the friend.

Obviously the spell works. The characters now think it wouldn't because there was no immediate reaction to the fair skin spell and the doctor told about neuro coupling. In ep7 HY's colleagues as well as SY's assistant said HY is looking prettier nowadays. But things got chaotic after that and they don't have time to think if the fair skin spell works or not.

He didn't like shinyu being cute to JK when he first came to the office. 🤣

Either the tumbler fell and the water got wasted or it was drunk by her senior. There is no way it was drunk by the plantation guy. She met the plantation guy after she got her tumbler from her senior and was working on the park. I think she just got confused seeing his sudden approach towards her.

She just randomly used that spell to see if it works or not. She was feeling low and had nothing to do. She got a centuries old book gifted to her and in her free time she used it. Even for fun and even if we don't believe it we all might also try to see if it works or not just for fun. She wasn't thinking everything through as she herself didn't feel it will work.
Also the entire story is based on the spell. So one or the other main character will use the spell.

I rewatched ep 2 and shin yu clearly started showing interest in hong yo even before she did the spell. He didn't just take the offer to work at that office simply because he can go against that jerk.

I randomly watched the first 4-5 episodes of this one and remembered why I loved it when I watched it while it was ongoing. It had scenes that gave me the creeps but was also fun and light hearted as well as dark at times. S2 don't have the creepy scary vibes.

I rewatched the initial 4-5 episodes of S1 and realised S1 was darker and creepier than S2. S2 is more action and thrill than S1 but don't have the darkness.

The spell works. Since they didnt see any sudden change in fair skin spell and the doctor saying about neuro coupling they assumed it isn't working. But if you have noticed her colleagues and shin yu's assistant said hong yo is looking prettier than usual and hong yo also felt her skin improved while doing her night routine.

Shin yu might hate to admit but he surely was attracted to her from the start. In ep 2 he gave her his hand to stand up but she didn't take it, offered a ride which she rejected, got irritated seeing hong yo act cute in front of KY and felt the need to taunt her when she got rejected by KY. An aloof guy who don't care about what other people are doing won't be doing all this. All this happened before HY made the potion. He clearly wasn't liking her not getting flattered by his attention 😂.
I have seen the SML actor only in the last kyungso drama where he played a similar character. I guess he was a public lawyer in that one and at start was cold and somewhat negative but turns around by the end.

Does iron skin spell means being thick skinned and not getting affected by anything or getting physical strength? I need a spell which hong yo can cast against that evil witch so that hong yo don't have to face any consequences for physically hurting her.

We will have to wait atleast 5-6 episodes for that. The bitchy sfl ain't gonna get her karma in the first half itself.

Anyone will be a mess if they cannot identify the sudden feelings they have esp with spells and magic involved.

I don't think JK is after HY because SY also likes her. He always had good feelings for her but wasn't ready for a relationship because of his personal problems. Then she ended up being his neighbour and before that he was trying to change his lifestyle and trying to be more open. That's why he rented that house. Then they had a good time at his house warming and he got to know she likes him because of his kindness and liking for dogs and not because he is rich or sucessful or good looking.
He already took a stand for her by protecting her from further bullying and asked her colleagues to delete the photos. He did that when he didnt move to ber house or knew about SY.
A lot might have problem with him interfering in SY and HY's matter but he is simply being a someone who is keeping HY's best interest in mind. She is a single orphan woman in a very judgemental society. A rich guy who is already engaged comes to her house at night constantly and at times drunk. Her entire reputation will go for a spin if people starts talking. She is already being humiliated for getting rejected by KY. She will be labelled as a mistress if people in the office finds out about SY and her. SY is least bothered about any of these as he don't understand the consequences HY will have and he is also not breaking up with his gf.

It's not messy. It's ep 7 and obviously they aren't gonna reveal everything. They are clearly making the audience also question whether it's the love spell or not the same way the characters are questioning it and that's a good thing.

I like the trio. I hope we get more of them together. There is huge potential for a good bromance as well.

8. I think the catch of the love spell will be whoever drinks the potion will act on their feelings and it's not necessary that they will fall for the one that made the potion. That will prove shin yu was already attracted to Hong yo and the potion only make him act on his attractions. Similarly her senior always liked his colleague but after drinking the potion he is pursuing her but in his style.
I think the SML didn't reject hong yo because he didn't like her but due to his personal problems. His colleague told him, he is shutting himself from everyone and he should have dated hong yo. I guess then he decided to bring change into his life. That's why he decided to rent a house with a courtyard and leave his luxurious flat. Then hong yo seems to be his neighbour and he got to know she don't like him because he is good looking and successful but because he cares for dogs and even after getting rejected she continued to like him. I guess he is getting unnecessary hate. He clearly cares for her and his anger towards shin yu is not just because SY is hitting on the girl he likes but always because that will put HY in huge problem. Her character will be questioned at the office as well as in the neighborhood if SY kept acting like that. SY clearly is least bothered about what people might thing. The SML is simply trying to keep the girl he likes safe from the public scrutiny and sl*t shaming. She is already being mocked for proposing the SML and being seen with SY in the terrace.
I think the red hand disappeared because of the cure nullification spell. That red hand appears because of the cure anyway. But SY's growing feelings for HY is bringing back memories of their past life.

Her fair skin spell is working. Her colleagues as well as shin yu's assistant said she is becoming prettier.

The spell works. If you have noticed multiple times it's implied that hong yoo is looking prettier. The colleagues and shin yu's assistant said it and hong yo also started to feel her skin is getting better when she was doing her night routine. The spell don't work right away. It takes 2-3 days. Even shin yu's feelings were sudden. It started subtle.

I think he will be the only one by the lead's side when everyone will label them as cheaters courtesy na Yeon. She will surely play victim and make hong yo look like the second woman.
