Being nice to people is a cultural thing and she is a civil servant who is very sincere to her job. She gets attached to anyone that shows any sort of sympathy towards her like the SML. He was nice to her she fell for him immediately simply because not much people have been kind to her and she craves for companionship. They might have been a noble family back in days and might have gotten the curse from some shamman. So they have generational wealth. I guess the curse might have to do with the ml and fl's previous life love story. The one the ml keep seeing in dreams. He might have caused the death of the fl in their previous life.

Have no idea. All I know is Koreans in general have high beauty standards and makeup is a necessary. In this drama even at times bo ah's makeup looks weird esp the lip area. 2017-18 dramas didn't had this much makeup issue. Lee dong wook has lipgloss on all the time but he still looks good and he is like way older than rowoon and cha eun woo and all those young actors with caked up makeup.
