Is the brother of the ml going to be a positive character? He seems to be obsessed with the ml and will do anything for him. Is it simply because the ml is his only family and is like a older brother/father to the younger one or is there any backstory?

Four episodes in and the leads ended up in the hospital in every single one of them and at times twice 🤣.

Rom-coms and slice of life have happy ending but this seems to be a little serious. So I won't be surprised if it won't have a happy ending.

Are they following the past story or its also changed?

I liked 3 and 4 more than the first two. The story is picking up even though it has a lot of subplots which might be connected to each other as the story moves forward.

I am not liking kim dae young dae's makeup in the present time. I think it looks fine in the flashbacks as it looks closer to his real skin tone but in the present they tried too hard to make him more face. The skin tone around his eyes are so different from the rest of the face. The last scene in ep 4 had a lot of closeup scenes and the bad makeup is visible.
Him and rowoon are tanned and the makers should stop tried to make them too fair.

This drama is more serious than I thought and also a little dark. I thought this will be a rom com like the matchmaker but this is more of a romantic melodrama with supernatural bg. I am loving this so far. I like the flashbacks and the complicated relationship between the leads in the past life.

Amulet is the reason as she got saved from the car accident. His love can only save her from himself.

His acting is a little awkward in the first two episodes but he is good in 3 and 4.

The ml don't really have anything else to do in life. The first episode showed how he is lonely in a big house. No family, no job or anything. The only thing he wants is to nullify his marriage and get back as an officer.

Can he even ride horses 😂

Because she knows the minister and his wife is capable of getting what they want by hook or by crook. They already killed the princess 8yrs ago and except the ml nobody even thinks there is foul play in her death. The opposite don't seems to be strong and the king can't do anything without the approval of ministers.

There is an older brother for sure as there are rumours of her killing her eldest dil. But they haven't revealed anything regarding that.

The way he talks and don't great her it didn't look like he was from lower caste. Maybe from upper caste but broke. Don't look like he has a family. Or maybe someone whose family got banished from the capital as a punishment or something. If he is from lower caste I guess during that time it was against the law to marry from different caste.

I think they kept using concubine and mistress both. Might be a translation issue or in Korean both mistress and concubine might only have one word.

Since there are 3 secondary love stories and atleast 2 murder mysteries along with the love story of the leads and the palace politics I guess 16 episodes will be apt.
