You are not alone. I am still trying to figure out this whole negative review within 2 episodes. If there are people who enjoys strong girl namsoon this is like 10times better. This is a simple rom com sanguk with smart leads and not so bad acting. Not a masterpiece but I don't see anything in it to nitpick on.

I guess it will make sense if his father was in the opposite side as him being an officer will make the opposition party stronger. Seems like his father died in between those 8yrs. But before the king called him to help get the ladies married he was on the left side helping the villains. It was his idea to spread the rumours about old maiden ghosts.
It will be too farfetched for the villains to find a way to lock up a newly joined civil servent thinking he will be a thread in the far future.

I missed the ml raiding the donkey in last episode 😂. It's a hilarious site

The guy for the first old maiden seems to be still a mystery. We might get to see who he is in the next episode I guess.

Who is the guy the sister in law went to meet? He seems to be poor but is he from a lower cast? That house looked pretty big for a lower cast but is not maintained well and he works on the field.

Both the ml and fl as of now are smart. The ml is book smart and the fl is street smart. Together they match well. Seems like rowoon is settling down with the character as he wasnt going overboard in the last two episodes. His comic timing is pretty good.

I think concubines are only for the king and crown prince. The minister's other women are called mistresses.

It was hilarious how the ml tricked the defense minister 🤣. When the father in law asked the defense minister why he didn't double check what the ml wrote he said it was too long 🤣. Defense minister is funny and dumb.

The things I understood from this episode.

1. The kid is definitely not the fl's. Fl saved her friend with her brother 8yrs ago while the friend was pregnant with bok hee. She has braided hair so she was unmarried at that time. The kid who called her mom is 12yrs old.

2. The friend was either pregnant with the fl's husband's child or definitely knew how the princess died. She had updo hair. So she was married at that time. So i guess there are chances it's her husband who is searching for her.

3. I guess the rumours of the mil killing the eldest dil is true. The fl thinks her mil is not a bad person but she is extremely cunning and is plotting with her husband to kill the crown prince. It looks like she is smarter than her husband but her husband thinks he is smarter than her. 😂 I first thought the friend might be the eldest dil but then the mil already saw her and she was only afraid of being spoted by the fil.

I guess that's the only mystery part I got from ep 4.

Yes. It's like they have way too many storylines but none of them have any connection and it's overall a mess. It's like there is no head or tail to the story.

Might be but since they revealed it in the first 2 episodes itself there might be more.

I was commenting back to the question of op, whether people forget bad deeds of a guy in real life as well.

The monk saw the shadow of the ghost after giving her the necklace. He gave her that unintentionally as a child. The ghost thinks he can go to the afterlife if he kills her and he thinks it's the talisman(necklace) that's keeping her safe. He might be wrong. It can either be his own love for her or her father's spirit that's keeping her safe from him.
Also I guess there is more to her killing him in the past life. She killed herself after killing him.

There is literally nothing in this drama that makes any sense. The emotional attachment between characters are totally missing. Whether it's between the family or between the leads we don't feel any emotional connection. The mother says she loves namsoon so much and was crazy searching for her but she was so chill after knowing her daughter is with the cop instead of reaching at his place asap. Namsoon seems to have completely forgotten about her foster parents and the place she grew up in. There is no emotional connection between namsoon and her brother either. Does she even remember she has a brother? Neither of them put any effort in getting close. The mother shows more concern over a random girl who pretended to be her daughter for few days over her own children. We don't even know how or why the leads got together. How can anyone be attracted towards a girl who behaves like a child like namsoon?

They changed the story from S1. In S1 it was clearly mentioned only one family lineage had the power and they always used to have one girl and one guy twins. But now they are showing women from one entire family tree have these powers. Namsoon is a not even the first cousin of do bong soon.

Oh it happens in real life as well. Recently read a news of a bunch of lunatic women raising an online petition to let go of a guy who killed one girl in a hit and run case or sometimes like that simply because he is good looking 🙄. I think it happened in the US. Even back in the days women used to drool over a serial killer for being good looking 🤢

Yes. I guess there is a backstory to that as well. If they wanted the fl to have a child they would have gone for a younger one and won't specially tell his age. I thought that kid was at max 7-8yrs old and was surprised when they said he is 12.

Most probably that kid is not her's. There is a dead brother in law and sister in law as well. So there are high chances that the kid is theirs. The ml is said to be 25 and a widower for 8yrs. So he married when he was 17.

I don't get the sympathising part. Would the audience sympathize with him if he was less attractive than the ml or if he was a middle aged man?
Joker is an interesting character with a sad past but that doesn't mean he should win over Batman and him killing people should be forgiven and forgotten.
