What about Mu Qingee? Is she supposed to be like an immortal? Are the roles reversed in this drama?

Does anybody know how old characters are? Xue Ran Ran is 18 but what about the rest?

Is Liu Mian Tang actually Lu Wen? There seems to be no casting for Lu Wen and when he thinks of his hand wound, he thinks of getting revenge from Lu Wen but it is heavily implied that the injury was given by her. I don't mind being spoiled.

I am on episode 2 and so far, I have one question which I will post in the spoiler below.

I know people have been saying that the mother/son duo found the money but here is my theory regarding the money. We know that HW is a pretty smart guy so he will not leave the camera footage about Grace and him meeting and leaking sensitive information about the money being in the house unless he wanted that information to reach ES and his mother. We see HW take the card from Grace but we think he used it to get HI back but what if he also used it (or sent someone trustworthy) to search the house / elevator to figure out the location of Panic Room. He found the money and switched it up with something fake. When HW and family enter the elevator, he immediately knows where to look for the secret button. How? Unless he or someone else has gone through it before and told him.
The next morning he leaks through Grace that the money is in the house causing ES and his team to search for it. They found the fake money.
HW wanted to probably get the grandfather back before something happened to him or Mo Seul Hee killed him cause she has found the money,
Grace also has no reason to side with ES and Mo Seul Hee over HW cause she has been betrayed by them once. Maybe she knows that she is giving them fake information cause she is striking the same deal with them that she did with HW.
I think the fake money is being used by HW to make ES and his mom become overconfident which and they will make some mistake which will lead to their downfall.
This all just a theory of course.

LOL. What's up the umbrellas? I see so many Chinese actors and actresses using it but why? It is not hiding their face successfully and the fans still get a pic of their face. If it is to keep them in the shade from the sun then the walk is so short from the set to the car that it is not worth it. I can understand using an umbrella if they are in the sun for a long time.

I am watching it right now to make myself feel better.

Just imagine Love is Sweet as a second season. TTJ is the god of war in finance and LSS is his childhood friend / enemy. Their fights are so cute

They are so many side character problems with this drama. You have no idea what happened to GYJ and Mo Nv or whether they ever regretted their actions. Like, where did they go? As for the immortal sects and the world, how do they perceive TTJ now? Is he a saviour now or still the devil god? Why did YQY's hair turn white? It was black before. What happened to him too? Is he still ruling the empire, or moved on? Did he ever reunite with Pian Rian in some form?

No matter how you look at it, it was a BE. He scarified himself to save the world and after 500 years, there is still no sign of him anywhere aside from that shell which only has a piece/sliver of his soul.

I also think it could be a form of HE from his perspective (not looking at the romance angle). He suffered all of his life. His mom died when giving birth to him, his dad hated him and kept him isolated, his nurses blamed him for their treatment and betrayed him, his brother wanted him dead, the woman he loves madly wanted to kill him on their wedding night, when he finally found some peace with LSS, the immortal sects turned against him for being the next devil god and every horrible action afterwards was blamed on him. His suffering always overshadowed his happiness. Even if he had lived, he still would have been perceived as a devil god and hated by the immortal sects for just being TTJ. Even in the drama, they kept on hinting on his death through LSS's hands. In Ep1, she says that she is going to kill him and during the festival, she pretends to kill him as well. I think in death, his suffering finally to an end and he finally found his peace and happiness.

As for LSS, I have said this before and I will say this again. She never trusted him enough. In the first arc, her mission held more importance than his feelings and the trust that they had build up. In the immortal arc, she rejected him, only to accept him, only to reject him again and then back-pedalling at the very end. I don't think her love was for him as strong as his for her. At moment's notice and some words from other people or his, she was ready to believe the worst of him. The promises he made to her held no value to her. In the end, she gets to live her life with her daughter regretting some of the decisions she made.

I do think TTJ should have at least met his daughter once though.

It was a great experience watching this drama. Now, I will think twice before picking up a Youku Xianxia drama though or waiting till it ends cause I can't stand BE without being emotionally prepared first.

Just wondering if anyone knows: Are the actors dubbed in this drama by voice actors?

End of ep 31 and beginning of Ep 32

LSS: "Cang Jimun, be patient. We'll be together forever starting tomorrow."

This line is so sad cause he has been patient for so long (500 years). Just one more day and he would have gotten his happiness. Instead, he got betrayed😭.
It's also sad cause to be together is what they both want but the brewing storm will never let them be in peace. It seems that they both are never meant to have a happy wedding.

I think it's cause they genuinely enjoy kissing one another and being in each other's presence. When something is done wholeheartedly with no awkwardness between the actors, it translates well onto the screen. Also, the kiss scenes between them can be quite steamy. In the leaked BTS of the latest kiss (the 40 sec one), while they were kissing, LYX noticed something on his costume and BL kept her lips on his while he fixed it and they just went back to kissing. Like who does that? Most actors would just pull away but these two just keep going.
During the wedding night scene between SJ and ME, BL had lipstick on her lips. They had apparently kissed each other so many times that there was no more lipstick.
It seems like no one wants to pull them apart either😆. During LIS and TTEOTM, the directors were like just , "Keep going. We won't interrupt." Even the photographer for the Harper Bazaar was taken aback by their chemistry. They sure are...very professional like someone said.

End of Ep 31 and beginning of ep 32 (since scene repeats)

There is no love triangle. The SML has his own love angle with the SFL (she is horrible though and does meddle with the ML/FL but not romantically interested in the ML. In one lifetime, she is romantically interested in the ML though but it does not last long)

After seeing LSS's cruel behaviour, I hope for a BE. TTJ should find eternal peace through death. No matter what he does or says, in LSS's eyes he will always be the Devil God. LSS on the other hand should suffer eternally by regretting her behaviour towards TTJ. His kid should act as a remainder to her of her heartless behaviour. In my eyes, that will be a HE.
