Especially Sim Sooryun was dead and comes back as Na Aegyo... I guess the actress didn't want to give up on money and keep asking screenwriters to write again. Or screenwriter was out of inspiration.
Bae Rona comes back even though she hit her head with a trophy... Miraculously.
Logan Lee comes back after burned in exploding car crash. Again ridiculous. Logan Lee played 3 different roles so far, he did good job actually with his Busan dialect and native english until it's lost reality with Alex. Logan wasted his time to try to be with Sim Sooryun. I don't think she loved him. There were many chances to be together but she rejected him everytime.
Doctor Ha comes back after hit his head on the stairs. Again miraculously.
Cheon Soejin survived despite a huge chandelier falling on her stomach.
In the and the real happy ending between Bae Rona and Seokhoon but who wants come Korea after all of this sh!t? Jenni didn't become a singer even though she has talent. What did she do in last 3 years? They want Bae Rona to shine as much as possible even though she forced her mother to do all these things. She never asked her mother where all of this money comes from.
All of the characters were horrible. I watched because it's gripping but it was such a mess without a conclusion or advise.
Story progress is slow just like the first movie. I've read manga and there is still so much more to tell, I guess their original plan was making sequel movies like Kingdom. But I'm not sure anymore after the drug scandal of one of the actors.
I like bromance, it should've been one hour drama. Open ending, will he continue to scam or will he stay royal to Misaki? There would be second season easily.
Imagine you're very succesful doctor who operate hardest surgeries yet living in a LDK which looks like coming from a horror movie. I don't know much about salaries in Japan but this is low budget drama indeed.
Dropped because of the drastic character change of female lead. When she was Mudok, she never confessed to him her feelings but when she's Buyeon she was very straight forward. And she fall for him so easily... She even lost her sense of humour.
A movie about overcoming depression and moving on, dreams and second chances. I like the healing theme and the idea trying to convey to audience. It's not about romance actually, it's more about two people who suited each other becoming a family naturally. Being together with true person make you heal. Beautiful.👏
I laughed so hard when they're fussing about filthy water. lol. But as romance-wise it was lacking, I don't have patience for slow-burn romance. It could've been 15 ep. And now I can't bring myself to watch 2nd season because of female lead change. I know it's needed for plot but still weird.
A liar's lie became true and everybody is lovin' it... At least Matsumoto doesn't like Setoyama. Cute lead girl who has low self-esteem, afraid of talking to a guy is not my cup of tea. It was on boring side. Whoever was casted Itagaki Mizuki as second lead, c'mon...
I dropped this long time ago and this time I could able to finish it.
First of all it's a love themed movie without a single kiss scene. Only intimate scenes are on the poster already if you’re here for romance or love. They looked like friends living together, there wasn't chemistry between them.
Anyway Nagata was the worst guy i've seen in fictional world recently. No need to describe him. But Saki was not good either. She thought he would change if she tolerate him constantly. She even thought about marriage in that circumstances. Tolerating someone this much comes with its own consequences. When she fell into depression he came to his senses a little but not enough. They were so faraway from being a healthy relationship.
Kento acted quite good if we ignore their lack of chemistry. By the way I've never seen him having chemistry with anyone. But regardless he is an actor I wanted watch time to time. Now I'll go watch Alice in Borderland 2.
For Mayu, I liked her acting at first but she doesn't even change her hair style. She is not a versatile actress, I'm not interested in her works anymore.
I just remembered my own problems long time ago while watching it. But it doesn't try to give any advice or be a solution to your problems, I'm telling if you’re having expectations. Worth watch if you’re having free time or you're fan of actors.
Penthouse isn't a rom-com if you’re looking for it. This is a piece of life with a little exaggeration. Every character has their up&downs, they not completely angel or devil. Even bad characters are sometimes likeable and understandable. That's what i like about this drama.
Some episodes were a little slow and some characters didn't get many screen time. It should've been 16-18 episodes. Soundtrack was weak too. But regardless of these, actings are good, it's definitely worth watch.
This is my comfort drama, i watched again when i was having a hard time and it was oddly funny & entertaining.
The thing i love the most about this drama is she didn't change herself to be a lady. And he accepted her just the way she was. Loving yourself is must be like this. That's why i'm very disappointed about some beauty related Korean dramas how they changed female lead with surgery and make up.
"I love this you that you hate the most."
There is definitely rewatch value. I realized Kame's acting is quite good as 24 y/o.
Season 3 should've never happened.
