I watched this when it was airing but I couldn't able to complete it at that time so I gave it a try again and with some fast forward I finished. But it didn't impress me. Summer love stories with some touch of cooking are always boring I don't know why like Summer Nude and Manatsu no Cindrella.
I love ending song by Jiyoung and I'm still listening it. But that's all really nobody stands out in this drama.
Villagers dynamics, beautiful green scenery, people who have good intentions unlike real life, no rushed or forced romance between leads, funny dialogs were all good but ending didn’t satisfy me because of female lead's illness, not a tearjerker drama though. Anyways go and watch, thank me later.
Subtle/virgin/unexperienced woman fetish but it comes from female screenwriters... If women put themselves in a position where they have to act naïve, and can't say "no" to the things they don't want as if they're doing this to turn guys on...🤦♀️
Highly conscious, uncomfortable, unconfident, calculative female character is the character I hate the most in dramas. I never want to be in a relationship with a person who doesn't even kiss without telling/order. What is so good about aperson who is acting like it's so hard to touch or kiss. Because physical love language an instinct which comes naturally unless they're aromantic/asexual. On the other hand overly clingy, toxic, obsessed male character portraited as if he's a perfect man...
Despite the bad story I watched directing sake. Colors and lights looked so soft, fashion and places on point.
Completely forgettable, I watched I thought I dropped because it's boring so after a decade I gave it a try without even realizing I watched before... Why summer love stories are so boring in dramas? Btw I watched because of Matsumoto Jun and YUI's song Please stay with me got my interest.
I watched and there was no romance with little girl. It's definitely a family drama. But was it worth the unnecessary controversial story? Not at all. I like ending song though.
All of the cliches in one movie, no wonder it's coming from Netflix. They don't really put much effort to create something new or deeply meaningful. Every time it's something from this and something from that and let's make a movie for time killing. Let's give audience what they want as long as it's easy to understand and acceptable for everyone. It looked promising at first glance but everyone's cup of tea is not my cup of tea, I watched many zombie productions and it's one of them. For Akaso Eiji he acted so many times as a office worker wearing suits. I'm so done with his same character except Pending Train. He is like same character living in parallel worlds at this point. I don't even mention other actors, there wasn't any outstanding performance. I watched because I thought it'd be black comedy because he was eager to not to go work but it's a pass for me.
I thought her exboyfriend steal her from groom but nope... Very boring and slow unlike poster. Somehow low quality. It's not funny at all. Can't believe myself I waited for this movie. With this casting what a shame...
eisei and karyouten will have their stage later. currently it focus on building shin unit(army) and introducing…
Omg, is she Shin's love interest?! I thought it would be Karyoten. So Karyoten would be Eisei's love interest then? But Shin and Kyokai are so similar characters I didn't think they'd be in love.
Waste of time... Terrible character improvements, story itself didn't satisfy either. Ending didn’t make sense. Who wants to stay contact/being friends with their exhusband/exwife especially when there was a cheating situation? There are many cheating dramas in Japan it's getting worse. There is no way for me to sympathize cheaters. I was a little sad for Kaede, she was workaholic but not a cheater at least. Plus I don't think Nao suits lead roles. It's not that she can't act but she doesn't have star quality to make me watch her. I like Minami Tanaka better than her in this. Same goes for Eita, I could never able to watch his dramas. I hope Iwata Takanori will take more likeable characters in the future. I also didn't like his character in Kingyo Tsuma. I watched this disaster because of him, please. Ending song was outdated, it sounded like coming from 80s cabaret clubs. I wish it would be a jazz song then. Not worth watch.
Too much cringe story and acting even though it's a story for teens. I started to hate Japanese productions where they portrait little high school girls as house-keepers. What's up with girls who can't even stand tall, hiding their faces with hair... I'm tired of passive woman characters. And she wasn't supportive of her boyfriend at all, deep down her boyfriend wanted to go to America and had the potantial but she acted very selfish. Moreover they don't look good together because of height difference. It doesn't look aesthetically pleasing for men to bend over so much during kissing scenes.
"Because there is a person like you, this world is not bad at all."
Even if you've lost your dream like Kayashima, life's worth living. Even people don’t deserve your kindness and sacrifice like Shirahama, life's still worth living. Let's do what we can. Beautiful. 👏
Plus I'm too much satisfied by bromance. It's worth watch for Kayashima and Shirahama.
I was hesitant because I thought it would be boring but I like it! It was enjoyable and fun to watch. Kids and Sensei's interactions were interesting and heart warming. Plus there were many beautiful island and blue sea views. Every actor's acting was on point, children made good job too. Especially male lead's character was likeable. Sugino Yosuke's acting was amazing. I also like Perfume's Moon. Worth watch.

The only live action adaptation I like so far.
Can't wait for the next season.

Worth watch but there is no rewatch value.

We need a second season as soon as possible!
