I've just completed it with Japanese subtitles and after 45 episodes i could able to read Japanese a little bit!!! lol. If you’re beginner in Japanese you can watch this drama without English subtitles, story and dialogues are not complicated, they're speaking language clearly. Also story is giving peace despite all of the trouble around the lead. Thanks to @Nicksden who gave me video files... 😇
Scenario is dialogue-heavy and my Japanese is broke. Lol. I do believe there are funny scenes also a shocking plot-twist. Ending song We are the light by miwa. I don't think there will be eng sub anytime soon unless it's available on streaming wold wide.
For some reason i don't like this drama's dark & gloomy atmosphere, i like many actors though, like Yokohama Ryusei, Minami Hamabe, Alisa Mizuki, Mahiro Takasugi... Despite traditional theme and beautiful sweets, story was very bitter! Also i didn't like ending song... Mixed emotions and chaotic scenario, there is no rewatch value.
Musicality was at the point, I love Dean Fujioka's songs and his character but Iwata Takanori shined more in this drama. Generally it was on the boring side and i found Special was more enjoyable.
It was fun to watch but something was missing... We watched an unnecessary break up through the final episode. Shishio was gay how can he be with lead's sister? Is it only me who find this weird?
There are many controversial topics going on... It tells about how Japanese woman lives under the pressure of general society. I'm not stranger to this kind of generalized thoughts of people but i've never been agree with them. If we want to change something in our lifes we need to change our mainstream opinions. It all starts in our minds. There isn't only one way to live in this world. For this drama i don't know if it's reality or darker side of the women but it irritated me in many ways like slave guys. It's super sensetive topic yet screenwriter told everything in their mind without any filter. Japan is very well educated yet their old fashioned thoughts are which still lingers in dramas like a joke, unbelievable. (Also if i was a man i would never get married this kind of calculative woman.) Waste of time, don't ever watch, especially if you’re a guy.
Despite it's colorful poster it was not fun or enjoyable. Main character Nino was really annoying (with her bad acting). Removing main vocalist from the group and having another one... Even though it was musical movie i wasn't satisfied by the songs. Not worth watch.
I cried because of Tako-san's story in the last episode until his wife put his bones to her coffee. Wtf!? 😹 At first i also didn’t understand what's so good about coffee's bitter taste like Pei but now i like to drink. Fun to watch but don't expect too much.
Ending is really... Usually when i finish dramas i'm moving on to another drama but this one still lingering on…
I've tried to watch again but i couldn't because of Tsubasa Honda's acting. She is really beautiful but her acting is superficial, there is no deepness or sadness in her eyes...
I didn’t want any sad plot-twist but it was really predictable. Easy to watch but there aren't many things to talk about. Worth watching for the first time but there is no rewatch value.
