I can't believe it's over...I REFUSE to belive! Damn it! It was too short T^T Loved how they made fool of us in…
I know right! :D Well at first, I was thinking it was a interview after everything had ended. I thought it was super cute and an interesting way to end the series. As it went on, the dreadful feeling that it was a farewell crossed my mind. And when he was "shot"...I think I lost a year off my life.I'm pretty sure my face looked like this 8-O.
I know these ratings always drop after a while, so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts! Healer at 9.2 wooooo…
I agree. Well, all I care for now is more people watching it and enjoying it as much as we did. Noticing the same things we did or giving us new insights. :D
I really like how this drama went. :D But what happened to Yeong Shin's childhood where there's a man holding…
Yes, what @Nadil said. In her Q&A, Song Ji-na said that she purposely left the details out because of how much she hated child abuse. She didn't want to think about the details.
Many viewers seem to be confused about JH's interview in the final episode because we didn't get to see the whole…
Thank you very much! Wish the links could be stickied. :P I think everyone should read these.
And ahhh...this is why I loved this drama so much. So much meaning. So much thought put into the drama. I loved what she said about MJ and her knitting. I also like what she said about the ending. It makes me understand a lot more. I had thought so too...if only there was more time. But with her saying it...I can see that there was a lot she wanted to do but just couldn't pull off.
dear fans who have been able to move on from healer... what are you watching? i'm just starting the 3rd time of…
I love Cruel City. I would take a break and watch something completely different, just because I think that one deserves it's own attention. They are pretty different from each other though.
The last two episodes did feel rushed, but it doesn't change the way I feel about the drama. It was an awesome ride and I enjoyed spazzing about it with everyone. Sometimes, spazzing to myself when no one was around to listen. haha...
I believed I would never go crazy over a show again. Once you've seen enough, the effect wears off. Of course there still are shows that I love. Yet this one managed to do it all the way through. No other drama has managed to capture my attention to this extent.
Song Ji-na trolled us though! How much my heart dropped. I think I'm still healing after that. My mind went back to me trying to reassure people that it was going to be a happy ending...and then the dread of being wrong...very wrong Well, I am very happy for a happy ending.
Just finished ep19. oh god I want it to be tomorrow already and at the same time no!!!! AHHHHHHHHH! I LOVE this…
I thought they were going to end with a cliffhanger. Although it would've been nice for suspense, I prefer how they actually ended much more. Better setup going into tomorrow.
I'm so happy because it looks like it'll wrap up well. Although sad, cause... yea.. :(
I know what's going on after this drama....I won't watch any other dramas for a while cuz nothing is good enough...every…
Same here. I know there are still great dramas I need to watch. Bad Guys, Punch... Kill Me, Heal Me sounds interesting. It's just something about this show that made it impossible to watch another show alongside it. I'm gonna try to move on, but I'll probably end up going back and re-watching for a while...
I loved the meeting of Healer and ahjumma so much. Finally! I was wondering how they would meet. Their relationship is so peculiar and cute. That outfit she had on though... perfect first impression... heh heh
Of course we all love Healer...but I will miss ahjumma next after him. I'll miss the way Healer yells out ahjumma in frustration. Healer has turned me into a mess.
Another awesome episode! I am happy it didn't end a few minutes earlier. The suspense would've killed me. I won't be able to watch it tomorrow so it'll feel like a long wait for me.
BTW, for those of you who really want the Blu-ray version of the Director's Cut, the count is at 876+ (as of 6:30 pm KST). Only 1000 will be released. Not that I'm saying you should purchase recklessly... You can still buy the DVD one if those sell out.
Sincerely speaking I started this drama out of curiosity for it's hype but I'm at ep 16 and I'm not that impressed…
hmm...I've thought about this a lot. I struggle with finding the right words so I apologize if I don't make sense at times. Sorry for the book. lol
I appreciate how Song Ji-na incorporates some of Korea's history into the drama. At least for me, that "little" bit makes the drama one I can empathize with. She makes it so that this battle that's been going on, is about more than just the tragedy of two kids and a group of friends. It's the voice of the powerless being shut out by the people with power. I won't say that that's original, but those plot lines never get old with me when done right.
I also get the sense that Song Ji-na really loves her characters, no matter what side of good or bad they fall on. The only other drama of hers I watched was A Story of a Man, and in that one also, her characters are colorful. Even the minor ones are given care. The villains are clever. They struggle with right and wrong almost as much as the good ones do. Even Secretary Oh, who is quite evil...I find him to be comical enough to enjoy him. Like the way he was so focused on putting the books back on the shelves. I like those characteristics.
I also appreciate the detailing that was put into it. I can tell she has already planned it out. If something happens later on in the drama, you can connect it back to something that was said early on. Where they live... what they are wearing... those things reveal more about the people and their interactions.
I find that the drama is nicely balanced in each episode. This I can't really explain since I am not a writer. But she puts enough time for comedy, sorrow, sweet, intensity... The drama gets better as it goes on because she has already built the foundation.
I am also glad that the drama doesn't forget that it's a kdrama. You get the good writing but you also get the sweet moments that make you melt. It gives us what we've always wished for, and doesn't go to places we've always hated. Like other people have said...misunderstandings are settled quickly. People communicate like adults. Relationships develop naturally.
Apparently, I'm obsessed, so I had to write a lot. I won't say it's perfect but I haven't seen a perfect show... so...
I'm generally not a fan of idol actors, but I respect both Siwan and Lee Joon for their great skill. I believe that both have a brilliant future ahead of them and I actually look forward to their next roles. Misaeng is my favorite drama/tv show partly because of Siwan. I think it was episode 19...well it is sealed in my memories. As for The Attorney, he didn't have a ton of screen time, but he was darn good when he was on it. I'm guessing he lost weight for the movie.
UNDER-RATED. this drama deserves much much more lovee!!
The ratings are about 8-9% on average, which is slightly on the low side. Punch is the preferred drama in Korea. I hear Punch is good though, so I won't make any comments about that.
Have you seen that haters attack? They scored this show 1.5 and like 10 times yesterday. Healer went down from…
yea...I noticed that a while ago and was going to say something. I stopped caring about MDL ratings long ago because of people who do that. Their loss. I really do not see the point in rating a show low because of jealousy over numbers. On MDL, of all places. lol The rating of the show doesn't matter to me personally. It just sucks because when others come here to look for a show, the ratings end up semi-useless.
Well, I'm happy to have found a show I enjoy immensely. I'm happy you all are enjoying it too. I hope that others will find this show, regardless of what people (who intentionally dish out 1's) want to do to the ratings.
More Healer! Check out the new podcast.

Every ahjumma I know... well almost every, has their hair cut short and permed. Signature halmoni look.
