I don't think my heart has broken any more in any other TV show than when I saw that Han Suk Yool had decided to blend in. He's become one of my favorite side characters due to his playful personality and his weird gestures. And I know that the harsh real world will do that to a lot of people. Call it, losing their soul. Whatever it is, it is very sad. :(
So of those who are still watching even after the actress swap...what about this drama makes it worth watching?

I'm overwhelmingly obsessed with this drama. I'm waiting to catch up because I don't want the terrible feeling of having to wait for new episodes to come out. The characters feel so real, I'm not surprised that I'm falling in love with JGR and OSS. Quite a bit.
Oh my. I like Jo Hee Bong but I cannot imagine Oh Sang Shink played by anyone but Lee Sung Min. It sounds interesting though. I'm so obsessed with Misaeng that I'd watch just about anything to get more backstory.
A nice, thorough introduction to the drama. I'm not caught up yet but I am planning on finishing it. It's strange. It seems so ordinary. But it definitely is that universal relatability that makes this drama so lovely. It's like as you experience the ups and downs along with them, it brings you courage.
And I really like the Section Chief character. Well both superiors, really. But particularly Section Chief Oh. He looks like he needs a nice rest.
for those looking for a movie with a deeper message. it's a critical look at a society that is quickly becoming entrenched in materialism and superficiality. chasing "the dream" no matter the cost, even if it means hurting others or oneself. there are characters at different sides of the spectrum that give this movie a nice balance.
When I watched the first episode, I was so excited. And I hadn't felt that way in over a year. It has the feel of a high quality production with solid writing. I've caught up to the current episode and I still have high hopes for this.
I'm never against remakes, despite seeing Hollywood take several Korean movies and fail. It's not like it takes away the original. It's interesting to see what a different culture will do. And if it sucks...oh well. In that scenario, I celebrate the original even more.
Duelist... my favorite movie of all time. I hope he will work with Lee Myung Se more. Beautiful, beautiful movie. I think that movie is poorly misunderstood by many.
Watching this film, it's important to admire the visuals as they are key. Also get a sense of what the accompanying music is trying to say. The story is very basic and is not meant to be the focus. I don't know anything about film making but I read that some movies were inspired by this. It makes use of various techniques.
Only the first few minutes are in black and white. The rest uses a bland color scheme except a few items that will be a brilliant red, yellow, blue or green.
Brilliant movie full of meaning. It has some romance in it, but it is not the point. It is about hope, identity, and finding purpose in a life full of burdens, isolation and social expectation. This along with superb directing and acting; a beautiful soundtrack; a fluid story line that makes it easy for anyone to watch. Don't let the title scare you.

I really liked this show! It's a nice and sweet show to watch when you want to relax.
