lovely movie. I specifically enjoyed how Shim Eun Kyung really seemed like a Korean halmoni with her mannerisms. Even down to the tone of her voice...she had it covered.
Those are just some of the details that give this film its charm. People who are not used to Korean culture, particularly of how halmonis are...will miss out on some of the humor. The story itself is okay...nothing new. It's mainly about the humor.
To me, it's more a disappointment with the director as there are plenty of movies that may have the same story line, but are done better. My closing thought after watching this was, "I got absolutely nothing from watching this".
It's basically the rise and fall of an actor, done Kim Ki Duk style. If you don't know him, his movies are pretty peculiar, and even shocking. This one just didn't do it for me.
I think I love you MinMin. I'm glad Coffee Prince is not forgotten behind. Not my first drama but it's one of the few that I can enjoy even today. Loved the entire cast. I liked that it felt mostly natural.
oh dear, Jo In Sung. I have a new, current obsession.
okay...I'm liking it so far. I like that it's one where I feel involved with figuring things out. liking all the characters. love JJY's silver tongue. he's someone I can find myself really enjoying..
To those who prefer Cun Xi... I can't even imagine why. Personally, there's something about having my heart stomped on multiple times that I can't seem to find enjoyable.
lol I didn't realize I had to click on it to read the 3 words. So I was like... huh? A smiley face?
haha Means I should go to bed~ I will try to watch it on Friday.
you guys do realize that the list is based on MDL scores. of course not everyone will agree. and scores are not going to be based on technicalities. these are dramas that were popular to the general public.
I'm enjoying this drama's pace! I think for a 20 episode remake of an original 24 episode Taiwanese drama, the…
I totally agree. I don't think Gun has become too mean yet. Just enough considering the position he was put in, which, I can accept. I appreciate that and I too hope the writer can keep it balanced.
I'll take crazy over jerk any day. Sure his eccentricity may not appeal to everyone. But for those who don't mind it, it's a way to lighten the tension every now and then.

If this drama can keep it up to the end, it'll be perfect. I'm normally not a fan of romcoms, but this one is so lovely.
