One thing that bothered me was how cruel he managed to become towards the end...wallowing in self-pity. I understand for anyone else. But he did such a 180 that it threw me off guard. Still, I loved the cast. Great acting. This is the kind of romance I can like...where human emotions are actually real.
ahhh Que Sera Sera. The only drama that made me hold onto the pieces of my ripped-out heart as the final credits rolled. Of course, in a longing yet beautiful way. It definitely was different as everyone always says. There was no heavy gloss over it..which I loved. The emotions felt human. Although I usually hate bastard characters...this one done so well, I didn't mind it.
It would be neat to see the two again. But I've grown wary of romance dramas that I may hold off until I get final word on it. I hope it goes well.
wonhwa's review makes me want to watch this again. For those exact reasons, that is why Coffee Prince still remains my favorite romcom. I'm glad someone could put my thoughts into words so eloquently.
Oh dear, I hope they do not pursue that marriage story line. Even bringing it up at all left a bad taste in my mouth. I also wish that girl would stop crying over MY.
Aside from that, another great ep.
people should understand it is a CABLE drama labeled as MATURE. which means there is nudity and graphic violence. so please don't downgrade based on that.
great acting + action scenes are done well. and I liked the ending, so...guess it depends on the person.
I totally understand Yi Re being blind at first. Anyone would want to believe their family over a stranger. That's just natural. You try telling me that my brother murdered someone and see what I'll say. I never saw it as her being a weak character.
And we now know how she would react when she realizes who her father really is.
why do i feel like ryu tae oh is ACTING as if he has given up ????? he is acting as if he is in despair so that…
yea...I think he is more clever than we can even imagine. We've seen it before...him playing tricks. Fooling everyone. Now I don't have a theory as to why he looked so much in despair... but I am hoping it's all part of his plan. I just don't see him going down this easily. I don't know. x.x
Holy shisus this drama is amazing. So intense! It never fails to keep me excited for each and every new episode.…
I agree. I really like that it's more than just a murder mystery. Like getting us to think about the different characters...why they do the things they do. I wasn't sure where they would go after the first week...but it keeps surprising me.
I'm gonna be torn if I don't see Tae Oh's creepy smile again.
But on a serious note...I am very curious why he was so distraught. Was it really because it was out of his plans? So many interesting questions asked this week. I am loving this drama. Hope it keeps it up.
I wouldn't be surprised if YAI won best actor for this. But don't quote me on that since I don't catch that many dramas. ha I'm just saying...
Whether you like the couple or not, there was more emotion in a single scene of this than the entire series of your popular romcom of the year.
As for the other part of the drama, honestly, it was a real task getting through the politics. But maybe it's me.
Thank you for posting this... and to the author. I hope this drama gets more attention.
I appreciate the little snippets on the characters. Helps a lot.
I, for one, am trying to catch up. But as the article states...it requires a lot of attention...so I'm looking for a time when I'm not so tired. I think I may have to start back at 1. That or find some good recaps to read.
I really loved Kim Kang Woo in A Man's Story and I am liking him here too.
Finished ep 5 and I can see why some people might not like it, but others will love it. It isn't flashy like your popular shows. Rather, it feels more mature and carefully written. It's a show where you feel like you're watching relationships grow. As they get to know each other, you are right there getting to know them too. Some people may find that boring but I love it. I actually feel invested in these characters for more reasons than, "Wow he's cute and rich!".
But I'll see what I think when I finish it. lol
I'm so happy when I read that someone else loved it. <3

drama...why do you have to do this to me! :(
Okay...back to the show!
