Rich Man, Poor Woman sounds cute and may be a introduction to kdramas. I have so many dramas getting backed up so I will think about it.

Just a few things I do not like in romance dramas. When the two get together at the very end. When there are very mean secondary characters (or even if the leading guy beyond rude). I don't like having to be ticked off. I know that no drama can be free of drama... but certain shows take it too far that I spend more time angry than happy.

So I dled ep 10 of The Princess' Man onto my tablet. I just hate having to sit at my computer to watch dramas. Plus then I can watch it at work easily. Anyways, I know that some ppl will hate on Se Ryung for lying. But I really admired her for putting her life on the line to save him, even though she knew that he probably wouldn't accept her ever again.

Still eyeing Myun to see if he will make the right decision. Surprised that he revealed to Seung Yoo that she saved him. Maybe only when he's drunk, his old friendly self shines through. Just a bit? heh Well I only watched the start of ep 11 so I'll get back to you once I find out more.

yea...The ferry accident is very sad. I can't imagine how the families are feeling, especially since this tragedy is something that could've been avoided in many ways. So awful. :< I hope you will be feeling better soon.

lol Well...It's actually very hard for me to get into a romance drama. The thing is, I wasn't able to get into the most popular ones like Boys over Flowers or You're Beautiful. How the guys starts off mean and cold because of some sad story. But it seems that a lot of dramas follow that same formula. That or I'm just not able to care for both the leads. If I can't like both the leads A LOT, then I end up being blah about continuing it. On top of that, I already have issues with watching dramas these days. :(

aww...What other Korean movies have you watched? What genre are you into? I think some of the better movies are less popular, especially on here. I also tend to avoid ones with popular actors....and go with ones with good actors. The popular ones are meant for the box office....and I have zero interest in those. I don't know. I feel like I have to go back and watch. I totally missed the red fingernail part til you mentioned it so I didn't realize it meant that she was with the grandma in the 1st timelines. And you're right...it doesn't make sense. I'm not sure if the show is confusing cause it's been planned to be this way or because they have no idea and are just adding things on. All I know is that I'm confused. lol

Oh don't worry...I actually finally watched 14 yesterday. I'm really slow these days. Apparently I was also half-asleep watching it too. ha

yea...I don't think I'm a fan of episodic dramas. The thing I like about dramas and put a lot of importance to is the addiction. I guess in some ways, the same things that make a drama addictive can also take away from the quality of it. But I still like it. Mother...I really enjoyed. But it wasn't one where I couldn't wait til the next episode. Such a trivial problem...right? heh I like a nice balance of a good story but also keeping my attention. Let me know of any other Japanese dramas you come across.

lol The mom in God's Gift did go crazy. If I were anyone around her, I'd think she'd gone crazy too with how she kept saying SB was going to die. I found it stupid for her to become hysterical when she knows that people like her husband have no idea they went back.
Whose side is the grandpa on? I forget. Is he the father of one of the guys in the photo?

ahhh...Hope you can get your work done. How much more til you are completely finished? I've always had trouble with procrastination. ha But I'm sure you will find a way. Going after PhD is already tough so you must have it in you.

Oh...What is wrong with Cunning Single Lady? I usually read the first few lines of dramabean's reviews...cause they give me an idea of how the show is without having spoilers. Did it start out okay?

Sometimes I do want a romance drama that's a light watch. My problem is that many of them are pretty much the same story and I can't seem to get over my annoyance with that. I'm not sure why I have to be so picky.

Kang Dong Won too ^^ Actually, a lot of great actors out there. Hard to list them all.

There was a lot they could've done with Secretly, Greatly (I also watched it based on the trailer). And when I feel like there was potential but it doesn't meet it...I'm even more disappointed. Honestly, I think the only reason it was popular is because of who was in it. lol That's sorta why when I watch movies, I usually go by director or I look for reviews from people who watch a ton of movies (and aren't biased by who's in it).
I won't even watch a movie from my favorite actors if it seems cheesy. Poor Joo Won....but I won't even watch his. :(

I may watch The Thieves...but... it would have to be in the distant future..
I think for movies, I'm looking more for something artistic. Or unique. But still entertaining.

God's Gift is almost coming to an end. :( I wish there were more dramas with clever writing.
I'm glad I watched I Hear Your Voice before because I really like the actress. The only thing is...sometimes, I want to scream cause of how gullible the little girl is. lol When she wanders off or gets herself into trouble. She sure is fearless.
I also like that I have no idea what is going on. And I'm sure that at one point, everyone was suspicious. So then I started doubting every time they'd make someone seem suspicious. Do you read recaps? I think that's my only way to remember everything that's going on.

Well the one Japanese drama I watched is Mother and I really like that one. Not in the addictive kind of way...but because of the characters and how it made me think. I'm going to assume that Japanese dramas will have more unique storylines and careful planning?

yea...The website thing is a huge deal for me. It doesn't even make sense to me why it matters as I just need to click the next video.

I'm not sure but Hanzawa Naoki is on my PTW list. But it has been for months. lol I'll try looking through some lists for good ones.

ugh....I feel so tired today. I work overnight so usually my sleep hours are like 5 am to 11. Although lately, it's just been awful that I'm only getting to bed at 9 am or so. That's mainly why I don't get to my dramas cause I'm so tired during the day that I fall asleep easily. :( I really want to watch something but my brain is always in a fog cause of that.

aww... Well it seems like Emergency Couple was mostly good still. I guess we can't have everything, especially when it comes to the secondary characters. hehe And it's good that it's different. Well, a lot of the kdramas are too similar with different people.

I'm easily convinced at not watching something. Plus Empress Ki is so long. I don't want to watch it even if it's like 30 amazing ones and the rest bad. Then I just feel like I wasted my time when I don't finish it.

haa...yea I noticed you watched some movies. Secretly, Greatly... A lot of ppl liked that one but I thought it could have been better. I guess I was disappointed that I didn't get to know the characters better. And it wasn't as clever as I would want it to be.
I have not seen The Thieves. I know that one was really popular but I tend to avoid films like that because there's nothing special about them. Just your regular blockbuster movie with the same plot. For movies, I'm really picky about little details. I blame my last ex who was a film major. He was sooooo picky...but I guess it rubbed off on me.

I don't like sites that split up the dramas into 4 videos either. Well I do use them...but for some reason, I'm less likely to watch it when they're like that. I thought it was just me. So sometimes I try to download them if they're not on Viki. Dramafever would be okay if I was subscribed to it but since I don't watch constantly...I feel like it would be a waste of money to keep up a subscription.
Oh yea...I also prefer to be able to watch on my tablet cause I don't like sitting at my desk.

hee...yea...that's a lot of episodes and still a lot left. Sometimes I wonder if I should go back and finish the ones I dropped with like 1 left. Then again I don't remember much of what they were about anyway.

It's kinda nice that Japanese dramas can be short. Although sometimes I do prefer something a little bit longer... it's also good if it doesn't drag on. Which one is your favorite?

ooo...So you picked up God's Gift. yea...I really like that one too. Although I'm always confused about what's going on. lol

I'm so sorry. :( I feel bad that I haven't been watching anything lately that I didn't feel like I could say anything. Maybe I'm going through a phase... And still addicted to the game. :S Really bad timing for it to come out. :(

That said...I really like this. I just wish Saet Byul would quit doing crazy stuff.

There's always those characters that you hope will come to their senses and do the right thing...I guess Myun is one of them. lol As for Seung Yoo... he's like one of those that starts of pretty cheerful. But after life kicks them in the butt...they become all serious. I hope there will be happier times for him.

awww Sorry if it's boring for you. You can drop it if you want. lol I liked it because it's one of the few that doesn't take the cheap way out with the story. But I admit it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea as it doesn't really have the addicting appeal to it like Cruel City. Well..aside from my obsession with Chae Do Woo. The only time I can say I want to root for the bad guy. I almost want to sympathize with him.
