He is one of best lakorn actors , better than most leading actors!!!
Just saw him again .... 3 times, 3 different roles ( A pushy gay lover, a villain w/ a complex, a sensible sensitive lover)... and he is amazing in all of them!!!
This is only for those who enjoy slap/kiss lakorn. It's not my usual subbing genre but I've decided…
Thank you for subbing! .... It is greatly appreciated .... there are so few like you... you are a treasure to us lakorn lovers.
Thanx to your comment, I decided to check this one out for Film ... I see his appeal ... perverted mind w/ a sense of humor <3 ...LOL!
Btw, I like slap/kiss, when it has good writing and complex characters, this one is not one of them .... but Film and Oh Anuchit are worth watching...TY again!
Very typical slap/kiss revenge lakorn .... many typical tropes ... including needless filler scenes just to drag it out ... Yet, it is watchable.
The love is not believable, but the chemistry works.... the heroine is convincing since she is smart and sensible ... the male lead is typical, but bit annoying for not being too smart ... However, Film is appealing, he reminds me of Weir: a perverted mind w/ a sense of humor...LOL!
What really stands out is Oh Anuchit and his smart, sensible character Chatchanok <3<3<3
Oh is one of the best lakorn actors !! ... He is so expressive and gives his characters life!
So, last two episodes have not come out yet, buut I won't be watching ... everything is wrapped up and truth revealed .... it will just be typical dragging at this point .... Typical ending, w/ needless stubborness and an imaginary obstacle, some karma payback followed by reconciliation.....and since I don't really believe in their love, I don't care to see anymore.
EDIT: My comment in spoiler is about the existence or lack of R-scene .... if anyone wants to know which.
Also, must say that writers did a good job modernizing the slap/kiss .... the rape scene is more coercion than forced .... She offered (in order to subdue his anger), and later says she was willing ... He later says he forced himself (explaining he wants to do it again to show her his love..) ...LOL.... fresh angle huh?
Btw, I don't consider that spoiler ... viewers of slap/kiss expect a R-scene, forced-seduction, or tricked into willing scene ... nonetheless, some people want to be completely surprised.
Anyone know where I can watch?
New version is nice, but the characters here are more complex ... Wayu shows the wolf inside, and Pawarin is more conflicted about his "profession".
"A Bird is something I like, A Wolf is something I am" ..... "I am the wolf who hunts the bird."
"A wolf does not have wings, it can't fly alongside the bird ... I am the wolf that will make sure this little bird flies happily."
"A hit-man is like a man riding a tiger, if he gets off, he is dead."
Really like this .... Good captivating story, a wonderful couple showing innocent young first love, interesting characters.
Not lakorn formula... No filler scenes... No crazy Nang'rai ... No typical crazy lakorn stuff!
Writing and directing could have been better .... some scenes needed more logical scenarios .... I would have liked to see more internal conflict, especially for main leads .... but story still worked without real character insight or development ... some things were predictable, but it still held my interest!
Ex: Ep. 7 @26:50 ... the stupidest scenario ever ... Must ignore to enjoy the plot o.O *smh*
The acting for all is not very good, but not bad ... Jes is cute but not very expressive ..... Mo is appealing, want to see her more. .... Ak shows potential.... someone said the acting is clean and simple but not deep, like the characters themselves.
A negative: the music is underwhelming .... and Woonsen can't sing!
CONCLUSION:
A typical modern lakorn, concentrating on the action rather than characters' psyche and insight .... yet it let go of many stereotypical crazy lakorn negatives ....
- The lead couple make it worthwhile, otherwise nothing stands out.
- It stayed FOCUSED on the main story and on the LIKABLE COUPLE.....
- It did it better than many other new lakorns .... it worked and I recommend this!
i don't really get why the ost is in italian..the music is good but the lyrics make no sense
I don't know about the grammar .... I feel both the translated lyrics and the music enhance the scenes nicely and fit perfectly ... no matter what language they are in.
- In Chuno, for example, "Bakkwa" by Gloomy 30s is rap/ hip-hop mixed w/ Gregorian Monk chants, but the drama is an action sageuk ... It is just as alien to the show as "Vola" or "Destino" are to TPM .... Yet, in both examples, the music fits and enhances the mood of the scenes perfectly.
Using soundtrack music that is not temporally or culturally similar to a particular genre is done all the time in movies and TV shows from around the globe, to achieve wonderful effects! I have seen K-dramas where the lyrics and music are Korean, yet they don't fit or enhance the scenes..
What matters is that the music achieves the desired mood of the scene .... and a good OST elevates the meaning of those scenes to another level ... I feel the music director did that wonderfully in TPM!
lmao, I forgot about those subtitles. "I wishn't spend a single moment with a heinous recreant like…
I am grateful for all subbers volunteerig their time.
The subbers on Kissasian version were probably translating from archaic Hangul to archaic English, which I appreciate... But I don’t think it was necessary to make wording so complicated, it was distracting... after all it was not Shakespeare, no need to sound poetic. Knowing so many watchers are not native English speakers, they may struggle to understand..
The best subtitles are on DramaFever , excellent quality, they even explained the role of the various branches in the Palace .... I think GoodDrama used the Dramafever subtitles, but their video quality is low !
i don't really get why the ost is in italian..the music is good but the lyrics make no sense
Read the eng subs for the lyrics.... they make sense for those scenes.
Although in Italian, the music fits and enhances the mood of the scenes.
and only two songs of entire OST is in Italian.
Revenge ends in a disaster making everyone miserable. This was a bit of a surprise as thai dramas usually have…
I was checking your method and so far subs up to episode 4 but some segments are missing... and the segment lengths are varied so can't split raw video equally, it would be too much work :((
Thanks anyway.
I am dying to watch this one ... 1) b/c I love Chakrit and 2) this seems to have wonderful complex characters, All flawed, no one is perfect ... and I love the ending you described, seems fitting
Not a formula lakorn ...
I would watch it raw, but this is one of those rare lakorns were dialogue would be very insightful :((

P.S. I watch on dailymotion to support subbers!
For an actor that stood his own against Won Bin in Man from Nowhere, he is not given enough action scenes in lakorns.
