I was about to give up on Ch 7 for having bad writing .... Then I watch MSRF, Weir's MS, followed by this...…
I wish I had ... I am trying to look up a list of recent ch7 lakorns or maybe ch 5 (always good plots) ..... I give up on ch 3 currently - they seem to be going after k-drama fans by whitewashing characters :P:P
If I find any, I'll let you know ... and if you know of any, please recommend ....

I was about to give up on Ch 7 for having bad writing .... Then I watch MSRF, Weir's MS, followed by this... I changed my mind... they seem to have improved in 2015! .... although, writing has minor flaws in terms of characters' motivation and plot focus.

Thank you Ch 7 for continuing to make risky revenge lakorns !
Thank you for having flawed leads that do bad things! (instead of white-washing them like Ch 3 :P)

EDIT:
No wonder this story is good... adapted from a novel: Mia Nok Hua Jai by Chalalai Kettvadee
Producer/ Director/ Screenwriter: Saranyu Wongkrajarng (the actor!) .... excellent .... need to look up his other productions ....

This has restored my faith in lakorns .... so unexpected! ... It is really good ... so happy writers stepped out of their comfort zone and tried something New!... Not formula!!!

So much to say, but a lot of it would spoil... so I'll only say this now:

--- Loved that ALL the characters were flawed in some way ... no one perfectly good or perfectly bad.
---- so many insightful quotes said, that would apply as wisdom to many other revenge lakorns but others haven;t said it before!
--- Love the 2 leads .... fresh faces, yet they did a good enough job, especially Michael.
--- Absolutely loved Dao (actress and character) .... what a cool character! <3

--- Only one major fault: Too bad they kept the trope of the crazy second female lead .... the N'rai is the only character they keept as typical... and therefore she was the only 2-D flat character ... crazy and delusional to the end .... even if they did put all the blame on the father spoiling her .... Not good enough excuse :P

--- Also , the writing could have been better ... I commend them for the freshness of these characters .... but some things needed a bit more continuity .... especially Kimhan, he needed his actions explained better by better showing the conflict within ....
A bit more clarity, insightfulness and continuity in the writing would have made this lakorn among the very best!

Btw, if you want a sweet romance or perfect male lead .... this is not for you!

A must watch !! ... I only hope the writing does not become erratic!

--> I am glad you are writing about Thai actors, but some of your facts are wrong. For example: - Nadech is…
@KiaWilliams --- Thank you for being a good sport and for not being on the defensive by my comment :) .... I love your attitude and your enthusiasm for lakorns, there are so few like you, who take the time to write articles.... I hope you continue to write more.
However, I do hope you try to do more research for your future project ... as I said, your heart is in the right place, but sometimes your wording comes across as a definitive or "ultimate" guide when your articles cover part and not the entire picture.

As regards Sharice, I once saw an MDL forum post regarding Nadech and Yaya... I got excited, then found their source was Sharice; however, when I googled the news, it turned out to be false, and they still have not confirmed it.....

I don't follow gossip news or much info on the stars, but I have occasionally read a few blogs .... I usually follow the forums on Asianfuse as they tend to have the latest updates on the latest lakorns, or know about older lakorns because many of them understand Thai ... whenever I have questions, I ask them.

I probably watch a bigger variety of lakorns, and I do favor older lakorns, that may be why I know about the other popular actors .... You probably know more about the latest lakorns and the very last batch of popular actors to come out., as I know very little. Nonetheless, if you ever have questions, I would be happy to help in any way I can....
I wish you best of luck! :D

EDIT: here's @Cheer's MDL article introducing lakorns 3 yrs ago ..... It may be of help:

I really hope it is not the end. I love the Classic archetypes. I have always thought they were loosely based…
I agree, I hope it is NOT the end .... These jerk guys simply do NOT KNOW how to show their affection (like Mr. Darcy) and I love watching them go through the journey of learning!

Don’t blame the prince uncharming. Blame their bad heroines. We deserve female leads with a sense of pride,…
I agree... The male lead is flawed and just needs love .... what we need are more smart, strong and no-nonsense females that won't take his crap! .... not some dumb feisty but Useless noble-idiot female always cowering, in need of rescuing!

I like the hateful and flawed male lead, but only when he is coupled w/ a smart female that stands her ground!

I hope this is NOT the end, like several comments below said.

Oh I need o get into more thai dramas *_* can someone just explain why thai actors seem to have "different/unique/odd"…
Most Thai people go by their nicknames .... Thai names are very long, sometimes their nicknames are just a shortened syllable (or 2) of their longer names, but usually nicknames are given by parents at birth, representing a physical attribute or an appealing foreign word.

Also, usually Thais, instead of using first name followed by full Last name, or just a nickname, they use nickname followed by first name.
For instance, there are many similarly nicknamed Boy and Golf in the industry, so the actors above go by: Boy Pakorn and Golf Pachaya.

here's one article that explains more:

--> I am glad you are writing about Thai actors, but some of your facts are wrong.
For example:
- Nadech is not an up and coming actor, he is , arguably, the most well-established actor on your list.
- Arguably, Push is the new actor here and the title u give him as King of Rom-coms is also pretty subjective.....Maybe he is here on MDL, but not in Thailand.
- Yaya is not Nadech's GF officially, neither of them has admitted to it, but they are best friends and have amazing natural chemistry.

--> You have mainly mentioned the youngest generation, and all of them from Channel 3 (except Push)... For instance, Ch3 groups together Nadech, Mario, Boy P., Mark, and Ken P. as part of a group called 4+1.
- You have not mentioned some of the most popular lakorn actors in Thailand or from the other Chanels ... They are a bit older, but in Lakorn industry are considered more popular and reliable for bringing in larger audiences..... i.e. Ken T., Weir, Aum A., Andrew, Tik, etc...
Not to mention the very popular up-and-coming James Ji, James Ma, and Son, etc..etc..
- There are also the very popular females, younger and older: Yaya, Kim, Min P., Anne T., Kob, Aum P., etc... ....Perhaps your list is only for male actors, then the omission is understandable.

--> Most importantly, I was surprised and happy to see you compare Hallmark Channel to Lakorns, but you forgot to mention a very important and huge difference: "Cringeworthy" too much sweetness from Hallmark is NOTHING compared to "Cringeworthy" slap/kiss and makjang craziness of lakorns....
- new viewers need to be warned about that, lest they go to lakorns expecting the Hallmark Channel and be shocked!

--->>> If you had not labeled your article the "Ultimate Guide", I would not have objected .... If you wrote it as a guide to "Seven young popular Thai actors", it would have been more accurate.
- Just that some info is wrong, some crucial info is missing, and it has subjective opinions rather than actually researched facts ...
- Thais have many polls listing popularity. ... If you look at Thailand's Suan Dusit polls of popular Thai actors, Ken Theeradej and Tik appear regularly.

Thank you for writing the article, but I wish there was a bit less fan-girling, and a bit more facts.

This is now one my fave Lakorns ...... lots of Angst/Jealousy, Great Humor and a nice sweet Romance !!! What makes…
Thank you, but I am far from being the lakorn Guru... many others know more and have seen more..... Just that I prefer ones w/ well-developed characters.

Nonetheless, I am happy you are enjoying it! ... This is not the type everyone enjoys because it relies much on the banter ... But that is exactly why I love it!

Also, Ken always gives his characters depth and makes them more complex .... He is the best at expressing conflicted emotions.

Not on Dramanice/Dramacool, or hdFree/fastdrama , only 47 episodes on each.
Only on Viki, but videos not working.
Found it on YouTune but no subs :((

Title Best Time
PLEASE NOTE , all future viewers: ... Ep 47 is NOT the End!
You need to watch the special or Ep 49!, not always part of original series!
This show is meaningless without the last episode, episode 49!
Officially, episodes 48 & 49 are considered the Best Time Special .... Each is an alternative ending ... I can safely say, no one wanted Ep. 48.... skip it and go to Ep. 49!

DramaCool anf most other streaming sites --- only have up to episode 47
EDIT: thanx to @Amiri below .... YouTube links and subs from Subscene , for Eps 48 & 49 or BTSpecial eps 1 & 2.

Only one reason to watch this. : the Sizzling Chemistry b/w Tui & Kwan .... From the first moment he lays his eyes on her you can feel the sparks ...

Also, very nice Romance Progression, a believable Love and good Story.

Characters: Sharif, King Ahmed and his wife were all wonderful characters ... especially the Dashing Sharif <3 .... However, Michelle was a Weak Whinny Heroine that sometimes was stupidly stubborn..

Bad or weak parts: many things are horrid, mainly Poor Production and Amateur Writing:
The Stupid Dialogues... the Ignorance of most basic things in the culture, ... the shameful Stereotypes ... the Racist remarks,.... the fake wigs/beards, the ugly costumes ... and the very Cartoonish Villain! ..... :P ...Yuck!
It looks like a bad copy of a Disney Cartoon ... full of contradictions and hypocrisies.
On Mai Sin Rai Fai Sawart May 3, 2017
Like most people I watched only first 8 episodes subbed, rest were raw.... so I did not get a complete picture of the scenario.

Nonetheless, this is a good slap/kiss w/ pretty good acting, good chemistry, and two hot leads ... BUT, it lacked good writing ..... The bones of the story (based on a book) are very good, but the script lacked well-developed characters and did not much delve into motivation and psyche .... Instead, they focused too much on the 2-D villains and their stupid plans ... Chai Iewo, Urasee and other side characters were uninteresting or used as filler ... Too bad! :((
Still, Tui and Kwan sizzle on screen ;)

I wanted to see a deeper exploration of the two leads' characters and more insight into the conflicted feelings of both ...... More about Patawee's torment and passions, how he felt about the two women in his life, and how true love changed him and eased his tormented heart ... and more about how Chichaba's hate turned to love....
I wanted more of the Unending Fire of Passion !!!
