i hv watched shadow love so this drama is same concept that wil be boring for me if yes.. any diff?
this is actual enemies to lovers at the beginning, Shadow Love was 2 people not knowing they're enemies falling in love at the beginning ^^ but of course there are some similarities since it'sthe same genre, but very enjoyable to watch if it's your taste ^^
Can I just say This is what we mean when we say We LOVE We NEED ✨️Enemies to Lovers ✨️Goosebumps and giggles…
yesss Ia This is enemies to lovers, A+ just wanted to say: I'm not a novel reader but saw comments that the novel is very different from the show, they only took the novel as inspiration so it's not a 'reading along with the plot' more novel vs show being 2 separate things ^^
This is actual enemies to lovers, in a mutual & balanced way!! with a fun mix of seriousness and cuteness, but no infantilization or cringe humor, more a 'we torture each other to get even and that includes returning that bite' & 'both in absolute denial about thinking the enemy is kinda cute for 0.1 sec' lol
It's also fun that some chara introductions are handled in different ways e.g. FL saving another woman scene is the vibe of 'introducing a heroic love interest' ;)
Very good start: messy family set-up with revenge plot and entertaining layered charas. Offroad is Fine~ in those suites & his arrogant attitude hehe. as much as his brother is probably going to annoy me I couldn't help see the ship potential between brother & his bodyguard lol I was rlly looking forward to this show and they'll deliver on the entertainment & chemistry :)
But let me be nitpicky for a moment: I do hope the production quality will be better in coming epis, it's def not awful, but e.g. the consistency mistakes with the blood and overall some of the cinematography & editing are taking me out of the excitement in the scenes and leave me thinking 'the actors deserve better'.(e.g. towards the end when Offroad comes up behind Daou a good shot would have been to shift the camera-focus between them, instead they struggle to focus the camera on Daou's face at all for a few seconds, Idek why something like this is in the final edit instead of using another clearer take...)
no they were still in the warehouse (39:40) with a lot of blood running down the right side of his face + corner of his mouth & some on the left side of his face, later on (e.g. 40:38) there's no blood and then after the fight just blood on his left side XD
It's not super important for the overall story & doesn't take away from their acting, but it IS a consistency mistake on the make-up artists & director's & editors' side (tho the editors can't save much, if they simply screwed up reapplying his make-up during filming, they can't just simply cut all his scenes XD)
i know it's not going to happen, but i can't have been the only one wishing for bottom pharan the way he climbed…
I agree ^^ we won't get it, but I'll just headcanon them as versatile (same for CharnJet) ^^ personally I like to see charas that feel responsible for everyone & repress their own emotions/needs a lot to be taken care of now and then, Peem is totally in need of that imho, so seeing him being cradled in that scene was A+ to me ;) he's probably also touchstarved considering we saw him cuddle with his mum, but now the only compareable affection left is grandma Si, but he's taking on more the caring role due to her age/sickness ^^
as someone who enjoys watching shows without reading the novels I get that spoilers can be annoying, but don't let it out at the wrong person pls, simply saying e.g. book Khem avoids eye contact compared to show Khem (to explain some of the adjustments & acting) is not a plot spoiler ^^
Ohhhhhh I loved ep 8!! those 2 hours went by so fast and of course they gave us a cliffhanger that makes it difficult to wait a week lol
I rlly appreciate that the show didn't pull some BS to try to make the viewers hate Pong & Prim just to make PeemKhem the only 'good option'. no instead Pong & Prim are good people and in another life might've been good partners for Peem and Khem, they just didn't have the luck of mutual feelings, but still might be able to be friends after sorting the feelings/heartbreak :)
Jet struggling now after 'the heat of the moment' is kinda funny, but also very real ^^ I'm glad Peem finally found the words he wanted to say and was open & vulnerable towards Khem :) It's good to see both couples communicate in this epi!
I'm rlly looking forward to see the tragic past that lead to the curse ^^
I'm avoiding reading comments until I finished the last few epis and I don't want to spoiler anyone else, but I have to scream into the void for 1 sec that I ADORE epi 13!!!! The Acting, the tension, the brilliance of the script to use the same exact dialogue as earlier but the context has now shifted SO much & the delivery of these moments!!!! *chef's kiss*
I think MYZ is a time loop perceiver for sure. However, not sure if he's squid. If he is, how did he know the…
yessss it's all so interesting and Ia on there being at least 2 time loop perceivers ^^
to the: ML died before I understood it as him realizing that his fainting in the lab actually was him dying for whatever for him unexpected reason... but your thought is super interesting too since we don't exactly know how he gained his ability, it's so fun to theorize for this show :)
For new people interested I feel the need to say: If you want lots of action like the 1. epi, this show might not be for you in the long run ^^
It is a 4D chess investigative show that let's the viewer guess along with each new hint & chara. Atm (ep 9) we're on one long & still ongoing case: It's not just a 'who did it' (or more a 'who will do it' considering ML is trying to stop it thanks to time-loops) but also a 'what is everyone up to'. Each epi gives us aspects of the lives of everyone more or less involved in the case, many people are sus in their own ways, so we're on multiple side-quests to try and solve the big picture ...
Tastes are different, personally this show is super entertaining to me & I'm invested with everyone's motives for their actions/their future plans they're trying to achieve & the biotech side :3
Btw: I love that Ding Qi practically has to run from his colleagues & An Lan cause he's super sus with his 'know it all' attitude, but is bad at bullsh*tting 'plausible' answers lol
I wonder why the ratings went down? It changed too drastically in just few hours going from 8.1 to 7.9, while…
yeah the 1-star raters are starting to show up which is frustrating atm (from 8,2 to 7,9), but overall it will balance out when 1000+ people have rated it, if they don't screw up the ending it'll def will be an 8+ overall rating :)

The 2nd and 3rd loops already proved they’re not the same. So how can the detective “put the puzzle together”…
I think you have a wrong concept what investigating means here while also giving the 5th day some 'magical' relevance even the show doesn't give it:
No investigator knows which clue will turn out to be wrong until it has been investigated. The loops changing simply means gaining more info you have to sort. And the clues on the 5th day will not automatically bring results, if you haven't taken in the clues of loop 1-4 and used them to figure out all the possible people involved (background, connections, motives etc) then you would literally be starting at 0 info on day 5 ^^
Just cause the antagonist is aware of the loop too doesn't mean he can change Everything, just like for ML some things influence his plans too (road accident, café stampede etc). The fun of the loop is that deaths are forgivable in a sense during the loop and that you have a few 'fix points' (like e.g. the road accident) while other things can move and give you a new clue (and ML can become a know-it all compared to his colleagues lol). But from a purely investigative side this is not much different from having a normal Monday-Friday for investigation with an antagonist who can anticipate some of your moves (like in other shows before). Friday will not automatically deliver the wanted results if you didn't put in the work Monday-Thursday. And if the case isn't solved on Friday and somebody dies then well that's what happens on Friday and you have to live with it and get back to work on Monday, that's pretty much the relevance of the '5th loop', nothing more. (Just like his regular life, e.g. he has to live with being involved in An Lan's mum accident and didn't have to chance to see if a loop could change her fate...).
If he would solve cases with things he only learns/does on the 5th day, he also would've solved the cases in the first 24hrs before he knew it would turn out to be a loop day ^^ So for him the loops mean that he gets Monday-Friday all packed into a loop and if he's lucky (e.g. with the bank case) he can show off and act as if he solved it in 1 day, if it's a super easy case like the handbag thieve he can drink coffee for 3 days cause he already knows how to solve it, but all that doesn't mean no case in his career would end badly or unsolved on a loop-end ^^
For the romance, it's very slow burn anyway since their situation & how they got to know each other isn't an easy start, but their fondness for each other was already obv before the recent loop. So he simply has the chance to get to know her a bit more for 4 days of the loop while she only remembers a sense of Deja vú, but it's not like they only have 5 days to fall in love and he's mostly busy with the case anyway ^^
...It's ok if you dislike a show cause it's not your taste, but I'm honestly wondering what you want from it: there are multiple suspects cause the loops are like a moving puzzle allowing the audience to guess along with each new information we gain with every change in each loop, but since you call that 'waiting around' time instead of investigation you seem to expect to get the results on a silver platter...?
have you ever watched time loop shows before, if him accepting his death as possibility in the loops is the thing that throws you off, cause it def isn't relevant to what he's actually trying to do: solve the case. and that 'wait time' of the 4 loops is def important cause as you see he hasn't solved the case in loop 3 yet, so how would he automatically solve it on day 5 if he wasn't investigating each clue on the other loop days? Day 5 being the end of the loop and the day that can't be changed anymore simply means what happens on that day will be what happened in the overall continous time-line (whether a case was solved or people died etc), it doesn't mean that everything automatically falls into place for the ML and he can just read a book on the other 4 days...
Bai Jing Ting, in my opinion, looks gaunt and effeminate (more with that heavy makeup) in the role, nor does he…
Oh yay~, another acc that contributes to BS on MDL... I'll never understand why being a troll & spending time on things you dislike is more important to some than simply finding things you enjoy, gives toddler tantrum vibe, maybe get a snack & nap lol
I am on episode 4. It's so slow. Too much talking about nothing. Too many unnecessary information. Why can't every…
Tastes are different, this is not an action drama but an investigative drama, the situations & hints change with each loop, so it's fun to guess along :)
