it's not about media literacy, it's poorly executed & the scene was simply jarring af:
they went right from the plot into the wedding scene so it's basically 'the enemies attending the wedding' and this is supposed to evoke some cozy/nostalgic feelings for the cast from the viewers?!? ^^
well most of the people commenting about it were either laughing about 'Tony at the wedding', wondering if it's an editing mistake until they realized what the show wanted to do with this scene or were seeing is as 'emotionally being taken out of the CharlieBabe wedding' scene...
They e.g. simply could've given us an 'cast ensemble scene' after the credits or given us a longer bts compilation etc...

Ok, at least made it through the season and now I hope the actors are free from this show!!

Honestly the finale evoked 0 hype from me:

KimKenta had the most potential to be amazing this season if you consider their chara-backgrounds and starting out as enemies to lovers. but all we got were like 2 scenes with a bit of depth & growth for Kenta, 10 min of screen time in 13 epis and then we got Kenta kissing Kim back just for Kim to leave for Korea?!?! no further development for them together?!?! Kenta finding himself as person is all well and good but did it really have to be all we got for them?!?!?!

NorthSonic were among my favs in s1, but they were basically just decorations this season, sometimes literally just standing around in a scene and barely any dialogue related to their own chara & relationship development. So when they finally got together it felt underwhelming and I had already disconnected from the emotional involvment with the charas.

PeteChris chara writing was 'flat', I absolutely fell for PeteWay potential in s1, just their 'what could've been' is still haunting my fan-heart and Way was an interestingly layered chara. but this season's PeteChris were literally just used for NC scenes without any chara depth. e.g. even Chris suddenly showing up with a gun ready to shoot Tony didn't feel like a real chara aspect cause it was so disconnected from everything else...

Yes I know these 3 couples would always be 'just sidecouples' in PitBabe, but considering they were hyping the 'new pairings' during the promotions for the show + they're considered 'main charas'...I can't help but be disappointed with the crumbs we got...

Willy was an entertaining addition at the start from my POV, but fell flat since he was obv just a chara used as plot-device, at least it's nice he wasn't killed off ^^
(and glad I got introduced to Milk's acting here, hope he'll continue with other BLs, catching up with his old shows atm ^^)

Personally I don't quite vibe with CharlieBabe and AlanJeff, that's ok, different charas for different fans, but I have to say their relationships were less interesting than s1:
CharlieBabe were STILL in a 'we don't communicate we just fvck' mindset for half the show + stuck in a cycle of keeping secrets. And when we thought finally some relationship development we got a poorly executed amnesia-plot for the rest of the season...
AlanJeff: Alan being a hypocrite about keeping his health-issues a secret and then going down a betrayel-route letting Tony plant a chip in his head, just Idek what to say, whatever?!?!

The wedding scene totally took me out, cause why were Tony & Winner there, lol, Idek, is this a dream-sequence or an 'united cast saying goodbye to fans scene' (but then why a fictional wedding with the enemy-charas attending)?? (also Winner was killing people this season and they just let him walk away, not even a single punch?)

Overall the storyline had quite a few plotholes and I rlly dislike how 'dumbed down' the charas were at times. I haven't even mentioned yet the 'important' project of the skill-nullyfying drug that was relegated to barely being referenced at the end, did all of them decide to lose their powers?

I overall like the actors enough to sit through these 13 epis, but I really hope for their future they'll get better written projects, cause fans might stick through poorly written scripts, but casual viewers might not. (luckily shows like Boys Journey exist, it's what got me emotionally connected to the actors otherwise I too might've moved on halfway through s2 XD)

no, we are allowed to have our own opinions and 'it's named after them' is a bad take:
a series is not supposed to revolve around 2 people in a vacuum, if you want to have any kind of worldbuilding to it.
That's exactly why this season is so bad, none of the other charas have any life/depth to them, there's no proper exploration anymore about ABO/powers in relation what it means for others (e.g. we don't even know the dynamics of the other charas in this show). There hasn't even been proper chara-growth for the 2 main-couples since their drama is repetitive behavior for CB and hypocritical for AJ...anyways, we'll disagree so have a good day...

Sorry rant, I just need this season to end and the actors be free from this series Franchise, please, cause I can't deal with this level of stupidity in the writing anymore??!?!

They rlly ruined even the things that kept me holding on:
North & Sonic got such an underwhelming get-together after being dragged out endlessly and now it's just back to them being background decoration.
The writers don't give a single F about Kenta & Kim, they had like 2 great scenes together and otherwise the writers seem to forget that these charas even exist???

Pete & Chris had a difficult start with the 'Way baggage', but the charas overall don't have that spark anymore that caught my eye in S1. Way was my fav chara cause he was an interesting layered mess and Pete had great chemistry with him, just their melancholic 'what could've been' moments have me still thinking about them. The Pete & Chris of s2 seem forgettable & flat in the chara writing.

Willy introduced me to Milk's acting, so I'm glad for that, but otherwise it's obv that they've written him as tool for the plot not as actual chara (person)...

The 2 main couples have been stuck on repetitive & hypocritical storylines for half the season and leave me frustrated, so I rlly have to hold myself back from fasftforwarding ...

At this point they got me so far that I'm anxious about the other upcoming shows for these actors cause I'm gonna lose it if Most Beautiful Count & Goddess Bless You From Death will have such poorly written scripts with plotholes & 1-braincell-charas-actions & sidelining potentially interesting storylines...

please stop with the novel comparisons, we're watching the show!
This was hyped as ensemble cast in fanmeets (esp hyping the 'new' side couples) etc and they're listed as 'main charas' but we get nothing besides CharlieBabe drama dragged out (and some AlanJeff), so yes some of us are tired of this...

Enjoyable Binge-watch (15 min epis), the storyline was a bit soap-opera levels, but the actors nailed it, so that elevated some of the plot for me haha.

die Fähigkeiten wurden durch die Flüssigkeiten ausgelöst die eingespritzt werden + was auch immer diese Konstruktion am Kopf der Versuchspersonen ist (def. nicht nur zum Hirnstrom messen, da ja scheinbar gezielt Elektrische Impulse eingeleitet werden, evt. als Aktivator des Stoffes im Blut oder der Hirnzellen, k.A. ob in den Novels mehr Info dazu verfügbar ist).
Die Blutuntersuchung von Willy konnte Zellveränderungen nachweisen auch nachdem sein Chip entfernt wurde.

Srsly tho why is the 1. scene Winner & Tony talking, with Winner in a pristine suit, clearly Not just fresh from a car-crash and THEN the 2. scene is Babe arriving with Willy to free Charlie?!

(also Charlie & Babe acting as if 1 little punch inhibits Willy from using his time-stopping skill???
I kinda get Willy letting himself be caught since they're the lesser evil than Tony, but CB not being wary of Willy at all in those scenes???)

Idek what to say to the Alan situation, if I don't totally misremember then all of X-Hunters inner circle know that Willy was the only one making it through the skill-enhancing-experiment, so Alan is risking his life + he should be aware that Tony will do something to control him thx to Willy.
It just doesn't make sense for Alan to act like this cooperation with Tony is a better choice than the usual operation risks in a hospital, if he'd been terminally ill maybeee...

No Kenta at all (since he has been recaptured he wasn't able to stay in contact with Pete & Kim, so they should know something is wrong) & Kim only there to check on Alan having vanished??? The epi was spanning a few days and Ig we're just chilling with the Kim & Kenta plot lol?!?!

only positive thing for me was that we got North & Sonic ^^

I think Willy is in an 'Idgaf' phase (well he always has been in certain ways). His only goal is to get away from Tony, whether by trying to trade in Charlie or by letting himself be caught by X-Hunters (who he knows are less malicious than Tony) doesn't matter that much to him, but what doesn't make sense in the writing is that Babe & Charlie didn't seem to expect him to use his powers, like just because Babe can manhandle him a bit doesn't mean Willy can't stop time, so they at least should've been wary of that in those moments ????

yeah hope to see more of Milk in other shows, he brings a good presence to this role, so I was intrigued even tho Willy is an a-hole lol
(personally I just wish they would've gone down a more 'general-unhinged-chaos-route' for Willy than these weird kinda SA vibes when he doesn't have an actual interest in CB besides trying to get away from Tony?).
I'm curious to see a variety of other charas if that's the level of acting & charisma Milk brings :)

They dragged the WHOLE episode with the charas waiting around unsure what they can do and therefore sidelining any of the developments that weren't 'important enough in comparison'
e.g. Sonic & North existing in the same space but speaking not ONE word relevant to their own chara development!

The writing for Kenta was very '?!?!?!' he was hidden & could've decided to walk out after snooping instead the plot has him being recaptured in the most silly way!!!

I get that Jeff is soft in his worry, but the situation of Alan being a hypocrite in handling his own health after being angry at Jeff for DAYS, isn't even mentioned. Alan just gets to pat Jeff's head and all is good????
I don't want them to fight, but I want them to have a conversation about double standards in the relationship...

Idk, superpowers can be difficult to handle in 'logical' ways when you want to go down certain plot-paths, but Willy being so overpowered with his ability to stop time, but not using it against Tony?!?! (is Tony rlly that powerful in a way we don't know about?)

Only 4 epis left, Idk how they want to tie any of that up in a good satisfying way (I haven't even started talking about Pete, Chris & the trust of the team lol)?
I sure hope they're not trying to set up a 3. season cause sorry, but s2 wasn't convincing enough so far to make me exited for more of this XD...

I really love Kenta, but the writing for this scene was simply badly done:
he was in there snooping around and when he saw Winner coming back instead of leaving (no one had spotted him) he deliberatly choose to end up with the tied up guard and by default got captured again?!?!
I rllyyyyyy hope there's supposed to be some deeper thoughts to this decision, cause the writing just doesn't make sense for this, he was freely walking around and now he's instead in risk of being interrogated/killed.

It's in the moments he's surrounded by people that caused his death (or he suspects of being involved), so I'd say that pretty normal atm, it has just been a few weeks for him.
I'd say he has PTSD reactions and it will take a bit until he can deal with it better and internalize that they might not have the same ill intentions (yet) in this timeline...

Atm all I simply want to say is: I love this show!!!
it's entertaining, beautifully shot, well written main charas with some depth to them that allow Pan & Pond to shine in embodying those charas, A+ chemistry!
The tension-build of their moments, like damn I've never been this invested in a cp 'finally' kissing and it's only ep4, but the teasing felt like we waited a year lol

Don't mind me, I'm writing this just as little ramble no hate towards the actors or anything, it's just as someone who was cautiously looking forward to season 2 I can't help feeling disappointed atm...

In s1 I disliked some of the writing & esp execution of action scenes plot 'logic' lol
but I enjoyed the show overall (with Way, Pete, Sonic & North being my fav charas) ^^

I was cautious about s2 bringing back all charas in some way, but they handled it ok enough to keep watching, but I'm just tired of the stagnative feeling of chara/relationship aspects atm ^^

charas having certain personality traits & behavior esp after trauma is all well and good, but it feels like we're stuck without (relationship) development in parts:

a) CharlieBabe are in a circle of 'secrets' to 'making up with sex' since s1, so I rllyyyy hope we've finally broken through that with Babe finding out Charlie's reason to leave, cause I'm tired lol

b) Alan was talking about trust in a relationship to Jeff, just to turn around and now be a hypocrite regarding handling his own health issue...

c) atm Idek if the show wants to give us Sonic & North, cause yes crossing the line between friendship & romance is hard (been there & ruined the friendship due to break up of the romance), but they don't even get proper scenes to TRY and develope ANY friend-/relationship
(e.g. in the bar scene they were just decoration for Charlie's scene in that bar, why didn't they have proper dialogue related to their own charas considering they were supposedly on an outing together??)

d) Chris...Idk, compared to Way the chara writing feels flat, they want to keep him such a mystery that they've basically given us nothing captivating about him even after half the season ^^

So honestly atm I'm holding on for Kim & Kenta, def my fav parts of the show so far & finally a well written development so far!!
and partially holding on for the intriguing menace of Willy lol (but they probably won't give us a proper story for him, seems more like they simply use his chara to create chaos in the CB pairing (tho can they come up with something else than SA vibes for the plot) & then they just may get rid of him) ^^

Hope towards the end of the season it finally picks up and moves the charas & relationships forward in more engaging ways...

But hey we all have different tastes and happy for people enjoying this season ^^

MDL has a system that doesn't allow free text data entry for things like 'origin country' but only allows you to choose between certain options.
And since they don't have Singapore as option & don't have a database yet for Singapore dramas, it sadly can not be added atm :(
