The reunion of the friendgroup around LeoFiat was cute, but I can't help but feel disappointed with the LeonPob storyline -_-
I obv liked the actors or I wouldn't have been this disappointed in the story lol and at least I can currently enjoy seeing Smart in Top Form in a new pairing :) overall I'm glad I finallyyyyy finished Don't Say No (had it on pause for years XD) cause overall I like LeoFiat (yay for communication finally) and would've loved to see more LeonPob ^^
I really enjoyed it as the fun & entertaining & wholesome little show it is.Not the highest production quality…
I esp. enjoyed the journey of Luo Bushi from a 'brat acting out' (for reasons) to someone with a goal to love & protect & validate Heng Si like he did for him at first :) (and still bratty at times yay)
I liked the conversations between the different charas during the last few episodes & the end had me happy smiling but teared up XD
I really enjoyed it as the fun & entertaining & wholesome little show it is. Not the highest production quality and the script for some of the chara development could be better, BUT I really enjoyed it anyway.
It's practically the story of 2 people (in this case 1 human & 1 robot) finding a home in each other with a very cute 2nd couple (reunited childhood friends).
If you have trouble finding any actors (esp with such obscure account names) I rec to look up their series on twt/X and then see who that official account follows (at least most series follow all actors) https://x.com/PitBabeSeries/following
I was looking forward to this since the trailer/teasers showed their chemistry and what seems good production quality and I'm so happy the first 2 epis proved it right :)
If anyone wants/can afford to sign up for VIP on WeTV do it through the app (at least I got the reduced-prize offer only in the app not website, only for 1. new sign-up)
The first few min were a bit slow for my personal taste, but then I really enjoyed it! Great acting and I have to give kudos to all the visualization ideas they use (social media/texting, the mirrowing of their 'proper breathing/cry'-scene etc), that must have been a lot of extra work & extra scenes to shoot (I also liked that type of visualization in Battle of the Writers).
leaving this reply just in case you aren't up to date with his acting: he'll be in the BL Top Form airing 1. epi…
glad I could help :) I just ended up here after the Top Form Trailer and he looks so different now I wasn't even aware it's the same actor from a LITA chara haha, hyped for Top Form tho, hope it'll be a good show :) The actors also reacted to the Top Form trailer & teaser on YT it's cute ^^
ah right should've remembered that considering also the drinking in bars for charas in the show, thx for the reminder. haha yes same I think there are enough shows related to uni settings no need to squish even vampire shows in esp with actors that simply don't look 20 anymore, many of us would be happy about plots with grown-ups & working adults settings ^^
ohhh I still have that show on my endless list of 'currently watching' have to finish it at some point ^^ but yes there are def some Thai shows out there that try to up their quality on effects and/or cinematography :)
yeah, Idk, I'm super happy they finally started filming after such a long wait, but the show's I've seen so far from the director & cinematographer for Revamp didn't include any CGI, so now I'm rlly worried if Gmmtv will actually bother to hire a good team for special effects? I mean the Revamp pilot transformation of the vamp looked good, but if My Golden Blood is their standard then Idek ^^ will still cheer for BounPrem, but had higher hopes considering other Thai shows out there trying to level up on quality ^^
wasn't it their 18. birthday in the orphanage? maybe I was wrong sorry, but even if it's 20 it doesn't fit Gawin's face haha ^^ edited my original comment cause my POV was simply: they could've adapted the story to Gawin's IRL age roughly so it's more believable and no need to be stuck in uni forever esp not for a vampire show...
Disclaimer: will be ranty about some pet-peeves Because I actually like the show otherwise, so these just irk me even more than if I didn't care for the show lol
a) Idc about source material, there was 0 neccessity to pretend that Gawin's chara is supposed to be this young, it's laughable considering his face/body-build. they could've simply set the story in their mid 20s cause we're all damn tired of eternal school/uni settings anyway, will anyone care about his uni major in a vampire show?!?!
b) GMMTV pls tell me what was up with the CGI? I just don't get it, e.g. in 'ThamePo' the cinematography was A+ (I know that's not CGI, but there was a high level of care for that show's production). and e.g. '4 Minutes' (different company) did the 'out-of body experience-effect that's on a comparable level to vampire-fast-travelling really well, so why does the CGI here look so badly done while the overall tone of the show wants to be serious about the vampire topic. that's just a weird clash taking me out of the story ...normally if a show doesn't have enough budget for high-class effects they at least make sure the first and last epis are well done, but all the effects in the 1. ep were 'meh' the sad thing is this lowers my expectations & hope for 'Revamp' A Lot
ok rant over, I'll try to enjoy the rest of the show, but kinda dissappointed with Gmmtv about those aspects
I watched this with 0 knowledge about the plot and I'm glad for that decision cause they really did the 'keep you guessing'-part of the show mystery well until they gave us more of a reveal :)
Do Not watch this when you're in the mood for happy fluff tho lol ^^
All actors did so well, was one of my fav shows to watch and I'm curious where they'll take the story for a 2nd season (already confirmed, called 8 Hours)...no spoilers pls, want to be surprised again :)
I liked his cute smile and very cool that his chara was aro(-ace?) in Every You, Every Me, so thought I'd look up more of his acting, but well~ the kiddo is just starting out I see XD Ig all the best for the future, may we see him in more roles soon :)
