edited my original comment cause my POV was simply: they could've adapted the story to Gawin's IRL age roughly so it's more believable and no need to be stuck in uni forever esp not for a vampire show...

Disclaimer: will be ranty about some pet-peeves Because I actually like the show otherwise, so these just irk me even more than if I didn't care for the show lol

a) Idc about source material, there was 0 neccessity to pretend that Gawin's chara is supposed to be this young, it's laughable considering his face/body-build. they could've simply set the story in their mid 20s cause we're all damn tired of eternal school/uni settings anyway, will anyone care about his uni major in a vampire show?!?!


b) GMMTV pls tell me what was up with the CGI?
I just don't get it, e.g. in 'ThamePo' the cinematography was A+ (I know that's not CGI, but there was a high level of care for that show's production).
and e.g. '4 Minutes' (different company) did the 'out-of body experience-effect that's on a comparable level to vampire-fast-travelling really well, so why does the CGI here look so badly done while the overall tone of the show wants to be serious about the vampire topic.
that's just a weird clash taking me out of the story ...normally if a show doesn't have enough budget for high-class effects they at least make sure the first and last epis are well done, but all the effects in the 1. ep were 'meh'
the sad thing is this lowers my expectations & hope for 'Revamp' A Lot

ok rant over, I'll try to enjoy the rest of the show, but kinda dissappointed with Gmmtv about those aspects

I watched this with 0 knowledge about the plot and I'm glad for that decision cause they really did the 'keep you guessing'-part of the show mystery well until they gave us more of a reveal :)

All actors did so well, was one of my fav shows to watch and I'm curious where they'll take the story for a 2nd season (already confirmed, called 8 Hours)...no spoilers pls, want to be surprised again :)

I liked his cute smile and very cool that his chara was aro(-ace?) in Every You, Every Me, so thought I'd look up more of his acting, but well~ the kiddo is just starting out I see XD

I don't know what happened to this show, it started out in pacing and developing of the story-line as if it would be 10-12 epis but then suddenly ended with 6 and they cramped all they could into the 6. epi, so Idk if they had suddenly issues to finish the show or if the scriptwriter/director/editing was just THAT bad?!?!

It's sad cause the actors were adorable and it had potential, but the pacing between 5. and 6. epi had me double checking if I skipped an epi since in 5. epi the story still felt like it was just beginning to unfold and in the 6. epi it was jumping to 'let me stay with you forever' for the main couple....the end, lol?

So I rec to watch it as a cute & short binge-watch for one evening to enjoy some BounPrem and cute (potential) side-couple(s) (one was only hinted at as potential, another side-couple at least happened in the last epi), but don't expect much ^^

I REALLY enjoyed this one :)
It's an adorable fun show with 3 great couples.
I liked all the visualization ideas they had for this show (esp the groupchats were fun), we got a mix of modern drama + wuxia + theatrical monologues or a bit of peking opera styling etc...
they could've kept some of the pacing & plotlines in better order, but it doesn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the show thanks to the charas/actors.

I really adore how down to earth the charas felt even tho the fun aspect of the show was a main-focus.
yes there was a 'destined' couple and honeymoon & crush phases all around hehe, but also grounded with love-confessions that weren't over the top but could be very real and couples simply enjoying their time together etc.
It's a wonderfully wholesome show with friendships and couples that actually communicate.

If you're unsure whether to watch I'd say give it a try at least until 3 epis to get a feel for the switching between their story-telling methods (chats, wuxia, modern drama).

I want to see more of all 3 couples!!!
The chemistry was chemistrying all around and they all had the 'intimately looking into each other's eyes' nailed without unnecessarily slowed down scenes (besides the 1. epi, cause directors nearly all do that slowmo 1. meeting XP)
Definitely check out the uncut version, I was not expecting to get such scenes from them but kudos, you could see the actors were comfortable with each other and I liked the charas' ambiguos dynamics that were playful and each took the lead at times :)

I srsly wish I could rate the BL and the GL as 2 different series.
I'm all for BL & GL (and some het) in one show cause yes that's life, but they ABSOLUTELY screwed up the GL part and it sadly ruined the overall show.

To the BL storyline:
FortPeat were great and I hope to see more shows with them, they click well with each other.
They started strong with a kinda enemies to fuck-buddies holiday-fling that gave hints of more when they were willing to get to know each other bit by bit.
It went a bit flat when they returned to 'daily-life normalcy' of the Tongrak chara and they missed out on chara-depth moments, but still an enjoyable enough binge-watch.

The GL storyline:
they didn't even feel like 'real people' and the charas seemed more like caricatures until at least epi 5 when we finally got some 'real human emotions' for once.
(nothing against the actresses, they portayed what was in the script)
but even then they were never developed as people or partners who communicate, instead they were a more or less toxic mix of:
'devil-boss' that steamrolls love-interest and it's supposed to be all cute & funny since the love-interest has a crush anyway Ig (even when she cried cause her feelings were played with Ig it's still supposed to be cute?!... )

6 epis in I'm rlly struggling to see what the hype is about and Idk if I can even continue this cause it's mindnumbing to me (even tho I like the actors) XD
it's literally just 'stoic chara shows crush by pulling pigtails of cute chara' then it turns quite randomly dark-toxic with that whole car-crash but suddenly it's 180 again cause 5 secs after the shock it's already 'no biggie let's just continue' ....
other dramas with lower ratings at least even attempted to have more depth to their charas and storylines, Idk this is apparently not for me ^^

This was a fun bingewatch :)
I haven't watched Cutie Pie, but didn't stop me from enjoying this as the fluffy silly little show it is, was a good choice for some light-heartedness inbetween other shows :)

they glossed it over a bit saying that he was imagining himself with his little boat (his tattoo) etc, so they don't explicitly mention it as coping mechanism cause Ig his chara shies away from realizing it as trauma, but that's pretty much what it is considering he sleeps in the wardrobe after family confrontations ^^

some of my nitpicks:

I wish they'd stop trying to smooth over controlling parents as 'just another version of love', like pls the dude triggered his son into sleeping in the closet (literally & figuratively lol) & left with condescending words towards both boys etc.
Yes 'complicated' parental relationships are something many of us have to deal with and I'm not saying Sean's dad is the 'devil', but I srsly wish that shows wouldn't hold back from outright saying that some of these behaviors are just plain bad (& abusive at times) and not just a version of 'oh my dad loves me'...

The cousin chara was the worst aspect of not-fleshed out storyline for me because while I was happy to see Nat we got only crumbs for so long that the last epi wasn't enough for me to rlly get what his deal even was supposed to be? 'just' jealousy or also suppressed love?

I liked the hints of GL but def not enough time for it in such a short series, even the 2nd couple had to lose out on some story development with 20 min epis :')

but well those are just nitpicks and still adore the show overall :)

I think the writers/directors knew EXACTLY what they were doing to us with that scene set-up, I could barely concentrate on the scene because I was screaming internally fearing the worst XD

forgot the epi, but he mentions that it was his place to hide away from the world/his dad's expectations as a kid and it stayed with him as coping mechanism ^^

I'm so sad it's over now :')
DON'T miss the after credit scenes in epi 13 guys ^^

Came into this with 0 expectations, but absolutely loved it, just wish they had epis a few min longer to polish out the storyline because some bits were a bit rough since not enough time to fully flesh it out (esp for the side-charas), but still a 9/10 for me since it surprised me so positively :)

For people who haven't given it a try yet:
watch it when you're in the mood for silly cuteness, because at the start they go a bit overboard with the 'falling into each other' & romantic music tropes, but overall the series is SO WORTH a watch & explores more topics than I expected :)

I was esp captivated by Jin Yun's chara acting, due to the chara's deafness/muteness he had to express everything with facial expressions/body language since he couldn't use his voice to portray emotions, so well done!

I'm used to actors change-ups in everything obv, but in this case I really hope we could see Jin Yun/Raiden Lin in a series again together (like they would market a couple for thai bl) because their chemistry is amazing and considering they became so comfortable with each other during filming & later on promotions Ig they could be even better in a 2. series ^^

I was reluctant to watch this cause I thought it would be romantizised Stockholmsyndrom and I wasn't in the mood for that, but oh was I wrong: they're absolute puppies haha :)

I gave this a 9/10, might be a bit too high if you want to disect every minor plot issue, but this BL gave me what I've been missing in some others (even when I liked them for other parts):

some examples:
a) It managed to give BOTH charas of the main couple a proper story-arc overall, both had chara development and not just squeezed in at the last min.
b) while the romance was def the main focus (deserved, they delivered) they didn't exist in a vacuum , instead we got actually decently fleshed out family dynamics & a friendship (yay for none annoyingly written support charas)
c) the chara arcs had consistency in their issues and the mental health struggles were believable

I was surprised just HOW soft & cute the overall story-line vibe is while the story-setting gives us a rougher set-up, but honestly it works and this might be a BL I'll rewatch in the future for a cozy & uplifting watch :)

ML is simply being a good partner, if you can only 'feel like a man' by expecting women to be subservient to you then that's a loser POV lol

Happy we got the crew back for a 2. season, I like this chara group of 4 unstable idiots (meant affectionately) XD
But it felt like we skipped a season 2 and went right into a 3. season, they could've at least given us a proper timeline explanation since s1 (without spoiling the tiwsts & turns) instead of making it seem all over the place ^^

Honestly I couldn't connect to Mo Hui for most of the season (besides feeling sorry for her situation) because personally I'm never a fan of shows using the 'infantilizing a chara' route in such a way and only warmed up to her when we got to know her actual personality towards the end (and then they rlly got me in my feels T_T, haha). but kudos to the actress handling the charas well, tho personally I was waiting for Shu Cheng's return ^^
so for me the show saved itself in the last few epis and glad we could end it with a smile :)
