I love the supporting cast, Watabe Atsuro, the lady from one cut of the dead, and sion sono's favorite vampire is here. XD

English title "Bread, Bus and Second First love" basically tells the whole plot. She, working in a bakery who has fascination with buses, met his first love in middle school who now works as a bus driver. It's very straighforward, zero plot twist whatsover, this movie may not excite you, or it may fascinate you, depends on the viewer, but what I like the most about this movie is the very beautiful cinematography it has.

I haven't watched the Japanese Remake. If you mean the taiwanese version, I think you can find it in kissasian or dramacool.

Happy ending is the best way to ruin the original story.

That would not leave a positive message which what jdramas are known for, so I doubt it will happen. It is worst ending than him acquiring aids and die in the end.

Trust me I've watched too many jdramas, and 95% of the time they go on the realistic side. Those two will just end up best of friends in the end.

This one is pretty weird, it starts in the middle and ends before the first part, so if you don't pay attention you will lost into the story. What I like is the mysterious ambiance throughout the film, slow pace just helps to arouse my curiousity. It also has this dreamlike/dejavu element, which you'll ask yourself "did I see this scene before?". The key theme I think is "isolation/lack of communication", characters met but they didn't connect, they fail to convey their thoughts properly.

If you like slow burn type of movie with a taste of mystery then you'll end up liking this.

It's like terrace house with crazy characters having very complicated relationships, so I find myself having a hard time relating to them. I also think female viewers would find this drama cute because of doki doki moments, actually this drama might just be a big fanservice given the amount of attention it's getting. But since I'm a guy I don't give a damn about those moments, I just finished it for the sake of finishing it. LOL

I was waiting for the twist that never happen. I'm still not satisfied with the ending I think there's still more mystery they didn't show. How is she part of the main cast and that drama's poster? Damn.

If there's someone who can add layers to a complex plot like this, it's Nojima Shinji.

The OG tifa giving voice to tifa 1 more time in the remake.

Don't ever look for crazy DEVELOPMENT or make sense of the PLOT in a pure CHARACTER DRIVEN stories cause you'll only be disappointed. Obviously this movie is not for majority of people here on the comment section. Don't ASSUME if you see your favorite actor that it will be your typical mainstream movie cause sometimes these actors look for challenge and get casted to ARTHOUSE type of films.
