If only this was more about Yuwen Tuo and like no Jing Chuo, it would have been so much better. Jing Chuo was an annoying one dimensional 废物. Yuwen Tuo and Ning Ke literally felt like support characters, especially in the first half. This kind of Hu Ge was very nice to see, not monkey carefree like, like in Chinese Paladin and the Myth. Personally liked it more than Chinese Paladin, and it still had so much potential. Such a top cast, Tang Yan, Liu Shi Shi, and Gulinazha were too pretty.

A bit underwhelming, but nonetheless liked the adaptation. The ending was kinda crap, it made me laugh instead. Sad that these kind of time travel dramas are banned, gives it a good odd touch.

Every drama on mdl is overrated, except for NiF of course.

Cut scenes included ones with Jin Yi & Mo Wan, that's why their first scene together was sudden and vague. Jin Yi liked Mo Wan and also wanted to marry her at the time she had amnesia. Still likes Mo Wan, so he helps her with everything.

They should've taken another (less/none romantic) approach to her relationship with Han De Rang. Should've just followed history more, less things and tropes for people to complain about on top all the hate it's already getting. Now I'm just annoyed everytime I see Ming Yi and his pity coughs. Also got pregnant for real to act pregnant for her role, now that's real dedication.

I think Xiao Yan Yan is Yao Mo Wan from Renascence in another dimension taking control of another poor soul. Voice (actress) is the same and the plotline sorta as well, haha. For real though, liking it so far.
