This story is so stupid. So the beauties who grew up with each other and trained in martial arts get sent as a tribute to the enemy to act a beauty scheme. But then they randomly just betray and kill each other, like what? They had so many chances to just assassinate the emperor. If that wasn't their objective, what were they even doing there in the first place. Also what happens after that is even more stupid.

They tend to pick some random cool words from the English dictionary for the English title instead of directly translating the Chinese title to english.

It's so bad and the story is trash. Let's not even start about the cgi. The prequel, which I haven't seen, might introduce the story and characters, but don't think it's worth it.

The one on Amazon is dubbed in cantonese. The original in mandarin can be found on youtube.

If you like dramas with weak to strong lead plots and xuanhuan, this ain't it. The ML does literally nothing to improve himself (and his personality), and the story is draggy and boring. And for the fightscenes... Well, he just pulls out a rock. The only redeemable thing is Ying Huan Huan's plotline, she at least has a decent character development. All in all, watch this if you have insomnia or something.

Expected a romcom, but stayed for an actually interesting mystery plot.

This wasn't even that bad, like 1 star bad on douban. The main plot is alright I guess, kinda braindead characters though, and it's just that it ends up being surprising when someone doesn't randomly turn out to be evil.

Can I finally have a break from all the historical romcoms. Release this already, cant wait.

This one was pretty weak. Decent openingscene into one hour of almost nothing in the Rouran camp and then they get to fight, and so much slowmo. But still better than Disney Mulan.

Not my cup of tea, it's a bit too slow. Might be good if you like some light comedy. Also the costumes and set are so cheap, the head eunuch looks more like an evil wizard. But apparently the story is good (according to douban). Still, better things to watch.

Nope, no romance

Story almost non existent and the questionable ending got wrapped up real fast. It seems to focus on romance, but it's just forced considering the FL was in love with someone else. But it was nonetheless a decent watch.

Just an average hollywood blockbuster, so still kinda enjoyable and the visuals were nice. Also the Crane Corps are tired of living or something, maybe throw the spears down instead of inting. There was literally no reason to do that, they even have wallblades far before they would reach the top of the wall, lmao.

Like RMB650 milliion down the drain, imagine this flopping when it actually finally airs with this huge of a budget.

This one differs from the classic storyline, she's already a general and has to rescue the princess with multiple likeable characters. I kinda like it.

Watched for Yu Xin Tong, but it was decent. Also, if anyone is interested in English subs, I have them.

I mean I didn't say it was satisfying. It was decent in a way for the shitshow it was for the whole 56 episodes. Let's say I didn't expect much anymore.

They're not filming a 2nd season, also don't think in the near future. This series feels it's building up to a 2nd season, but the ending could also be decent on its own.

The bad animations put me off, the rest looked pretty decent though.

Nvm, saw it wrong on the Chinese version. It's an extra service on top of VIP. It will air like normal with 4 eps a week till the 10th of september.
