Maybe a bit of an unpopular opinion, but people need to stop complaining about there only being one episode airing…
I agree with you. I think that is more of a difference between fans of Chinese BL & fans of Thai BL. Fans of Thai BL are used to weekly episodes while fans of Chinese BL/Bromance are used to daily episodes or multiple episodes a week, so a Chinese BL airing 1 episode per week is odd and it takes time getting used to it.
People do have a right to state their opinions, but it can be a bit annoying since some of them said that people will lose interest and drop the show, so it hurts a bit if you really like the show.
I don't think the people who are complaining will drop the show. I would advise to ignore their complaints. The reason on why I think they don't is because China doesn't release a lot of BLs right now and fans of Chinese BLs don't really watch BLs from other countries, so they will most likely just wait when this show is done, but they will still be active in discussions/comment sections.
Omegaverse HELP- For those of u familiar with this genra What exactly is an Enigma supposed to be??And how can…
They haven't explained how an alpha gets pregnant, but looking at the information of other works with a pregnant alpha, lemme try to explain it to you.
Omegas can get pregnant, despite the gender because both male & female omegas are born with a uterus and high levels of "female" hormones. It depends on the work whether a male omega has a fully formed vaginal system or they are able to get pregnant up the anus.
Male alphas are not born with a uterus. When a male alpha has sex with an enigma, the sperm from the enigma triggers a response in the alpha's body, causing the body to form a temporary uterus and increase the levels of "female" hormones (I put "" around female because everyone has those types of hormones like estrogen in real life, just different amounts). Once the male alpha gives birth, the uterus dissolves. Male alphas tend to have a very traumatic birthing experience since their bodies are not made for pregnancy unlike females and male omegas.
As someone said before me, enigmas are the highest category. They are the strongest in all aspects and their pheromones are the strongest, so it is the most overwhelming out of all of the categories. They can impregnate everyone. In this work, they are unable to cry, so they are either need to be taught on how to cry or they need some external resources to force their body to cry. In other omegaverse works, they are able to turn alphas into omegas permanently. They also don't have a rut period, but in this work, they do.
I like the main couple more , i actually not even interested in the second couple like i have read many novel…
I also like the main couple. However, I like the second couple more not because of the stereotype of gay couples. I do not get why some people really care about top-bottom dynamic to the point where they won't watch a show.
I just have a thing for the mutual crush trope and I am a sucker for a redemption arc.
For me, I don't mind that the omegaverse is minimized, but I do not like that they don't explained the few elements…
Yeah. Unfortunately, they never became a thing in the books. I liked the change the show made with North & Sonic happening. Although, I wished the execution that led up to their relationship was better.
So I get it...amnesia. But did he have to revert back to when he was 13? How does he not remember Tony but remembers…
I wish they would have explained it more or have the characters question it clearly.
Maybe his memory loss is not linear, so he only remember bits & pieces where he can only remember Jeff.
I will say that I think that the only person in the series who is pretty logical is Kim, but they have to nerf by giving him very low screen time. I feel like whenever Kim is on screen, the plot moves forward a lot.
what was the point of the whole island plot i cant with these out of place dumb ass plots of gmmtv anymore
To show their teamwork.
I don't really know lol, but I liked it since it was a funny episode. Oh wait I think it is to show us & Pathaphi on what Pathaphi's old dream was. In the flashbacks, it shows Pathaphi & Tamtawan being investigative journalists and they go to dangerous missions. In the present, Pathaphi is thinking on whether to go back to his famous weatherman job or stick with his new crew. I guess this island plot is to bring back old memories on how fun it was for Pathaphi to investigate bad people with Tamtawan like it was in the old days.
Plus, they wanted to reference the beach scenes in SOTUS & SOTUS S.
Yep! That also means the same with the person that marked you, so it goes both ways. This is like this because…
For this world, you can get divorced, but your body will take a physical toll as your partner is not around and the only way to remove it is medically like surgery. Once it is removed, the body goes through withdrawal symptoms like depression for some time.
If one of them dies, the mark will still be there and the person will go through immense grief just like in the real world. However, it might be more intense due to the mark.
It is very hard to date someone else with the mark on since the scent of the partner is still there and your body will reject other people, even if your mind doesn't.
Yep! When you say "it", do you mean sex? Yes, he needs to have sex for there to be a baby. Heats alone…
Ah okay. He needs to do the forced heat. He doesn't need to the manipulation if Sheng willingly wants to get pregnant. His pheromones are strong enough for an alpha to act as an omega because it quickly puts them in heat the first time.
For me, I don't mind that the omegaverse is minimized, but I do not like that they don't explained the few elements…
I haven't read the books, but that is what I have heard. In the first book, North is described to be the "only omega in the team". I thought Sonic was an alpha, but apparently, it never said it directly in the books, so either he is an alpha or a beta. Probably an alpha since there are no beta characters.
Unfortunately, (I just found out) the book never physically described them, so combining information from the book and the physical actors, North is a masculine omega & Sonic is a feminine alpha.
I thought the same about the cane, specially when Alan saw Tony starting to resurrect. That was the perfect time…
Yep! Plus, in the episode where Kenta got captured, Chris was looking around at Way's apartment and the first thing he looked was inside that drawer. Unfortunately, Pete surprised him before he opened it.
The comment section is full spoilers that are not hidden and it ruin the show for me….i get some people comment…
Oh yeah a lot of people do that for a lot of shows. So, word of advice: Don't read the comments until you are all caught up.
It would be easier if everyone marked spoilers, but there is always at least 1 person that forgets and then everyone will slowly think it is fine and think that everyone reading the comments are all caught up and begin doing the same thing.
For me, I don't mind that the omegaverse is minimized, but I do not like that they don't explained the few elements…
I agree! I think in season 1, they didn't explained well and to make it even worse, they erased it which makes the confusion from season 1 more confusing. I am fine if they don't go all in, but don't go back and erase the world.
Oh yeah not a lot of people know that since the show never dived deep into North & Sonic, so a lot of fanfic writers will swap North & Sonic identities.
It is such a shame, but at least fanfiction exist. I am currently watching ABO Desire and they explained the omegaverse really well since it really dives deep into the universe.
EDIT: I just found out that the author made a statement to the fans about the omegaverse in the show:
We had an agreement with the producers that omegaverse must be cut out. Only the special power part remains. Which is really like that. There is no secondary gender system. But the word "alpha" is used as a name for a person with magical powers. We tried to ask the organizers to change the names to prevent misunderstandings. But the organizers still chose to use this name. ...confirming that the content does not contain the secondary gender system of Omega at all.
I don't know much about Ford, but they are some actors that prefer support roles over main ones, so maybe he is one of them. Unfortunately, GMMTV tend to prioritize actors that are in ships. If he is unhappy, I think his contract will end next year. I do understand. I am just saying that GMMTV is slowly using old actors more than in the past. However, it is not a fast change as actors are leaving, as you said.
Removing the Omegaverse had to be the biggest mistake they did lets start with that and then everything else including…
For me, I don't mind that the omegaverse is minimized, but I do not like that they don't explained the few elements that they have well. It leaves people confused.
Even though I am not a big fan of omegaverse, part of me wants them to go into the universe deeper, specifically for North & Sonic since in the books North is a masculine omega & Sonic is a feminine alpha and I have never witnessed that combination before.
I wonder what those actors get paid. They are involved in promotions and stuff, but almost no screen time.
Yep! For real, based on the information I heard in the reaction videos the cast do. I don't think the pay is identical, but it is similar to each other for support characters.
It is like that for most countries. If you are a main lead or a supporting cast member and you appear for only 1 scene, you get the same amount of pay like you would if you appear in all of the episode. It depends on the contract, but most contracts have a "per episode" pay thing, so as long as you appear in an episode, it doesn't matter the screen time you have. If it is a "per filming day" thing, then screen time kind of matter unless you filmed all of your scenes in 1 day, so someone who films 8 scenes in 1 day is paid less than someone who films 2 scenes in 2 different days.
I guess it is like this to make room for deleted scenes & editing cuts. Actors still get paid even if their scene gets delete or cut up.
I wonder if he can feel pain. He wasn't reacting at all when Winner was cutting him with his own knife. Either the ability also give him the power of not being able to feel pain or he is so used to physical abuse.
No, it was never explained that enigmas can immobilize alphas in the show. I don't know if that is like that in…
That is Way's power. Way has the power to mind control people through touch. Every power is different, no matter if you are an alpha, enigma, beta, or omega. Even the type of power is different.
Pete's power is kind of weaker than Babe's power and Babe is an alpha. Charlie's power is stronger than everyone and he is an alpha. Well, in the show, he is not sure if he is an alpha or an enigma, but in the books, he is an alpha.
I wonder what those actors get paid. They are involved in promotions and stuff, but almost no screen time.
They get paid the same as every side character even if they get 1 scene or if they are shown throughout the entire episode. The pay is the same no matter how little or how much they are shown. In fact, Garfield (Kenta) said he got paid fully for episode10, even though he had no scene and that is because he did filmed a scene, but it got moved to episode 11.
Basically, Lee (Dean) who barely gets any screentime gets paid the same or close to same as Sailub (Alan) who appears often, if they are both in the same episode since they are both not the leads.
It makes sense why some characters don't care about Kenta.
Babe has major trust issues, so even though he knows that Kenta "killed" Tony in season 1. He is still untrustworthy of him since Kenta was able to betray someone who he was loyal to his entire life, so in Babe's mind, it is easy to betray the X-Hunter team since he is not close to any of them. With that untrustworthiness & the negative feelings about Kenta, it results in him not caring much about him.
Charlie really only cares about Babe & Jeff. If Babe & Jeff cares about Kenta, then he will too. Plus, he is mainly distracted with his relationship with Babe, his failing health, and the development of the serum.
North & Sonic shouldn't be involved in this mess, but they are since they want to help their friends, so if their friends are concerned about Kenta, they will too. Back in season 1, they didn't want to rescue Kim until Alan told them to.
Chris doesn't care about anything besides what is between him & Pete. He didn't care when Alan betrayed the team or when Charlie lost his memories.
Alan mainly cares about his team, specifically Babe, Charlie, & Jeff. He doesn't want any members of his team to risk their life for someone out of their team. He did included Kenta in his deal with Tony, but that was after he saw Kenta and after he made the deal with Tony about Dean first. I don't think he would have a made a deal if it was just Kenta alone.
All of the people I mentioned don't know Kenta well, so they assumed that Kenta is able to handle himself like a solider that he was trained to be.
As for Jeff, he should have shown a bit more care about Kenta's capture since Jeff owns his escape out of Tony's mansion due to Kenta. He also is not scared of Kenta as much like the others due to him seeing Kenta's good side once.
Pete should definitely shown way more care to Kenta, but he got distracted with Chris. It kind of makes sense since he never came back for Kenta when he left the house. He only came back after Kenta found him and when he needed Kenta's help rather than Kenta himself. He cared more about Way (who he just met) rather than Kenta (who he grew up with).
Kim is such a sweethearts with great morals & ethics. Kim is the least likely person to be close with Kenta due to Kenta kidnapping & torturing him last season and yet he was able to fall in love and viewed Kenta like a human rather than a solider or a dog.
People do have a right to state their opinions, but it can be a bit annoying since some of them said that people will lose interest and drop the show, so it hurts a bit if you really like the show.
