Why did the rating suddenly drop from 8.4 to 8.1? That's weird.
It is normal for a rating of a new show to drop suddenly at the beginning due to rating bombings and the MDL system. It should raise a bit in the next week or two and become stable. A lot of shows face this problem.
I heard that Taiwan brought the rights to this drama and it was shot in Taiwan, so the chances of it being censored is close to 0. Plus, the author who is funding the production is extremely rich, so money helps.
I have a question... Will reading the novel reduce the tension?? I am head over heels for it now. I want to read…
Personally, I don't think so.
Then again, I love spoilers as it won't ruin a show for me. It just gives me comfort to know how the show will most likely end and it gives me excitement on how they will redo the scenes live-action & what new scenes they will add.
I think you should read the novel since it looks like you want to. If you feel your interest dropping a bit, I would advise you to stop reading on before you completely lost interest.
Ikr. It's maybe because they've the typical kdrama rich boy poor girl, ceo falling for the damsel type of dynamics…
As you said, it is most likely that their storyline is in a trope and people really like tropes. Plus, their story is more relatable than the main couple, so it is easier for most people to get attached.
As you said, people have their preferences. To me, both stories are interesting, but I am more interested in the…
I know. I mentioned your statement in the first sentence. I wanted to give you my insight since you said you "were wondering why". I am not trying to change your mind, by the way. Just give you understanding.
ohk i was really enjoying it and then i got to the scene where why he left phi is revealed and i am not vibing…
For me, I wasn't expecting a perfect reason since Tam said he regretted it when he made it, but he felt cowardly to turn back since it was too late. Personally, I liked the reason since it felt very human and it happened in real life with Krist & Singto (however, Singto did told Krist). Of course, he should have communicated with Phi, but he didn't know any better and assumed that he knows best for both him & Phi. I am glad they showed Tam regretting his decision and learning from his mistakes by saying he shouldn't assume he knows everything about Phi and will try to know him more every day. I also love that he apologized and took blame since when someone makes a selfless decision, they do the entire "I did it for you" bit and gaslit the person.
I understand why people don't like the reason, but I don't mind. It makes sense for me why young Tam makes that decision. Personally, I only take off points if a decision doesn't make sense for a character to make whether it is a great one or a terrible one.
i’m excited for it to be over so i can binge; pit babe 1 was a hot mess in the best way 😭
Hopefully, you will like this season. Season 2 is also described as a hot mess, but not in a good way, according to most people here. Maybe you will like it more than the average person since you are binging it.
I am a GMMTV fan and I think GMMTV is changing. Most of their upcoming & current dramas are set outside of school and have unique plots that they haven't tried before. I think GMMTV shows tends to aligned with my taste, so I like the before & after changes.
I am mainly in the fandoms of older ships like KristSingto, so I am not really exposed to the "extra" GMMTV fans since the fandom that I am in tends to keep to themselves.
Be glad it’s only 16 episodes, Perfect 10 liners was 24 episodes, that was a half year of weekly one episode.…
Recently, GMMTV wise, they are not doing high school or college shows much for their BLs. I think Boys in Love (which I heard that it is great) is going to be the last one to be set in high school/college for a while. The other GMMTV Thai BL shows are mainly going to set out of college/school.
I noticed majority are claiming they are so much invested in the second couple and I keep wondering why. There's…
As you said, people have their preferences.
To me, both stories are interesting, but I am more interested in the second couple. Their story is easier to consume since both of the characters are not too much of a red flag and it is easy to predict the end. The main couple's story has a lot of questionable ethical moments and the characters are black flags rather than red flags, so it is hard to consume the story.
Even though I can make a good guess at the ending of the second couple and how it will look like, I really want to know the details on how they got to the end and the backstory of how they know each other. Plus, I am curious of why Wenlang hate omegas. For me, I am here for the journey more than the designation. People tend to really like tropes such as enemies to lovers or second-chance romance because even though they will be romance in the end since it is in the name, the details are unknown. It is predictable & familiar yet not at the same time. Also, people really love Gao Tu, so they are interested in his storyline and his character development (people tend to eat that up).
In addition to all that, the second couple don't have a lot of scenes in the book, so people will be more curious of the live action versions since most of the book scenes weren't fleshed out unlike the main couple. It is also the underdog effect where people tend to root for likable characters or couples if they have less screen time.
It is fine if you don't like the second couple. Hopefully, this comment helps you a bit to understand why people like them.
I'm not a hater so can't speak to everyone but... I will say omegaverse has a *tendency* to be very very very…
True! I am not a big fan of omegaverse, so I don't seek it out. I just come upon plot summaries and tags whenever I see an omegaverse fic, but I don't click on it.
I am interested in this show though since I am interested on how they will show the omegaverse and I am mainly watching the second lead couple rather than the main. The main lead couple is interesting, but it is a bit too sexualization/red flag for me. I am not rating the show since I am skimming.
Yep! Since omegaverse are based on wolves, things tend too be too animalistic. The mpreg doesn't bother me at all since I liked it when couples are expecting a kid. However, most of the time I (and I think most people who are complaining) don't like it in omegaverse fics since the "top" tends to refer to the "bottom" as wife or mommy. Some fics takes a step further by referring male private parts to female private parts or using she/her pronouns when the baby gets here. I don't think the show will do that or do it too much.

True! You can make anything kinky, but most omegaverse works doesn't need much effort to be viewed as kinky. Most works can be viewed as very cringy due to the high amounts of sexualization being mentioned and the characters going into heats/ruts often. I think that is how most people are viewing the show like that because they don't have a good experience with the omegaverse since around 90% of works are like that.
I would have more questions about how a male can get pregnant and deliver a baby but to each their own haha 🤣
Hopefully, they will explain it in the show since each omegaverse work have different explanations on how does a male omega get pregnant. However, all of the works have 1 thing in common in that context, which is male omegas are born with a uterus. Male omegas are able to breastfeed and have similar amounts of female hormones, just like women do. In real life, there are some men that are able to breastfeed due to them having a high amount of estrogen (all humans have estrogen, by the way), but it is pretty rare. With periods, it depends on the work. Most works replace periods with heats for both male & female omegas. Some works have the male & female omegas to have both heats & periods. About vaginas, some works have the male omegas have both male & female sexual organs (I don't know how that looks like since there isn't a human that have both fully formed male & female sex organs). If they don't have a vagina, I guess the anal tract is connected to the uterus, just like how the vagina is. As for an enigma impregnating a male alpha, the enigma sperm will trigger an inactive hormonal gene, causing the alpha to produce a temporary uterus and temporarily increase female hormones. Alpha pregnancies are risky since the body is not used to the changes.
Not to question the science of an omegaverse mpreg story but there is something I can’t stop thinking about.…
As someone said before me, blood types are genetic. However, you are right that even though the world is wiped of people with type AB blood, a baby can still be born with type AB blood. Without a type AB parent involved, the only combination to have a type AB baby is if a type A parent is with a type B parent. The combination can either get you a type A, a type B, a type AB, or a type O baby. It is a 1/4 chance. The only explanation I could come up with is that the virus is still out there. In order for an AB baby to not be born, you either have to build a virus in a lab to deactivate the A or B allele or the virus have to wipe out type A & type B people. It is hard to completely get rid a virus from this world that is able to infect everyone. It is possible for a virus to infect everyone since there are some virus that affects billions of people like the influenza virus or the Herpes Simplex Virus. Plus, it looks like scientists never created a vaccine since people immediately evolve. This is a fantasy romance show, so I am not thinking much of the science. But, basically stuff like this can never happen in the real world. Then again, I could be wrong as science is sometimes unpredictable.
