Is there actual romance between the leads or is it more platonic? Are there romantic scenes in the drama?
I believe it's a romantic one. But you have to see and feel it and decide which road you wanna take.
And a feel that your question about whether there's romantic scenes or not is very complicated to answer... to me, romance, can be shown with a exchange of glances, but for you can be different. If you mean skinship so the answer is no. But I felt so much romance and love between them.
I watched until the last episode and I don't get it, why Dong Hoon cried and what happened with Ji An's bestfriend?
He cried because his marriage failed. And DH said that he and YH would help Ji An's bestfriend to get out of jail so it was implied that everything went well.
He confronted her at some point... you finished all episodes? (just a question, I'm curious).
I get you lol xD I can't remember the episode that he confronts her, but he will. And I can't even begin to talk about his wife... she is unbelievable..............
Yes, was a huge problem when the last episode was on air... he said "ae-umma" (my kid's mom). DH said to his mom…
Yes, this error you can find everywhere... DF, Kissasian and more... Is a little bit bothersome bc leads to a whooole different interpretation about the end of DH and Ji An but sh*t happens haha.

If you realise, when que was a manager he used to have a photo of him with wife and kid, but at his new office, that photo isn't there anymore, only photos of Yoon Hee and his kid and another one of him and his brothers.
Btw, I think it's pretty clear when he is talking to his friend at the caffe when he calls her "my kid's mom"... if he was still married to her, why bother to call her that way? He would have said "my wife". And in the whole drama DH called her jibsaram that means wife. At the caffe is the first time that he calls her that way "aeumma" and for koreans this word is the only appropriate one to call an ex-wife. So yeah...
It's funny to say "but will never speak honestly and open up unless they're drunk", because in most cases we speak…
For me you're being a little bit too harsh with a subject (drink) that you've never experienced before. When you drink you enters into a relaxing mode. Doesn't mean that you're drunk. And when you're drinking, you starts to feel more open to people. That's why is so easy to talk about problems or daily shit. Comes more easily because you loose some part of your shameful self, you stay less embarrassed, and you just want let out all that heavy burden that's killing you. That's why the 3 brothers talk about their frustrations while they where drinking (although DH talked very much less). Because the 3 felt that they were a burden for each other, so they try to aviod to the maximum to share their problems.
But even trying to avoid the burden, they can't hide everything, and if you've seen the whole drama, without any skip, you would've known that they helped DH and each other a lot even with their own limitations (personal frustrations, economical, professional, etc). The brothers knew each other too well, maybe they weren't talking about it 100% sobber, but you could see that they would catch each other if they needed to. Anytime, anywhere. Without a word.
And btw, the bar is the heart of this drama, couldn't be less filled with scenes there.
Just read somewhere that there was a mistake in last episode translation & it appears that Dong Hoon divorced…
Yes, was a huge problem when the last episode was on air... he said "ae-umma" (my kid's mom). DH said to his mom that Yoon Hee was going to stay 2 weeks but they already knew that would be much more than that, the crying scene of Dong Hoon alone, at his apartment looking to his family photograph, says it all... failed marriage and so on.
When he was crying we could listen to Ki Hoon's story about the children that were abandoned by their mother but they found a way to survive on their own... this could fit for DH's case, that he needed to learn to be alone for the first time and how to survive with this new life of his. But could also fit into his own child's case, bc he will know how to deal, and survive, with his divorced parents, is not the end of the world after all.
gave it an 8 based on how much i enjoyed it and also liked the story personally not how great i think it is because…
It's funny to say "but will never speak honestly and open up unless they're drunk", because in most cases we speak the truth more easily when WE ARE drunk.

I could list a bunch of little hints ;)
