That is sad about fang wei, he has been trying so hard. Yes, luo jia looked abs beautiful in orange. She is such…
yea I watched 17 and 18 without subs so I'm not sure, but I think they were both strategizing on how to win the 8 or 9 sales cases that yang lu had held back from signing in the previous eps. It seemed like zhou rui might've tricked huikang into chasing a particular "bigger" case while Ye Chao Dong and Yang Lu focused on winning more of the smaller cases. Their little squad meeting in ep 18 seemed like they "won", and they were congratulating ye chao dong but then he was acting like he's done with it and was leaving the company soon or something. lol I'm gonna have to rewatch 17 and 18 when subs come out.
I'm getting the feeling like fang wei is gonna turn bad guy and become a vengeful student vs mentor later on. he's super stressed about money right now which makes him want to succeed fast at all costs. I watched the 2 most recent eps without subs but he's already forging signatures to make progress with his sales. our good boy is going to the dark side it seems.
btw, luo jia looked so freaking pretty in the orange dress and hair tie during their dinner date at her house.
In the novel, she's actually knew Feng Nian when they were small. His mother brought her to him. You can say that…
yea I think that part where they talked about her background in the novel was when she took the spear out from the carriage to fight the #11 dude. I just got past those chapters, onto visiting his eldest sister now.
the novel translation is kinda sketchy but it seemed like it was her dad's spear, her dad killed her mom or something lol (again the translation was bad so idk). but yes, xfn's mom did bring her back when she was young.
so.. liu ran's brother got no punishment for aiding and abetting someone who attempted to kill a prince or for killing Si Yue? (missed arrow or not). what kinda bs is that?
Some of the Douban comments for this drama are actually pretty constructive, pointing out what works and what…
yea but when the score doesn't correlate with the amount of viewership the drama is pulling in.. something is fishy lol. you can't be 5/10 and have billions of views
I wanted to add I cannot wait to meet Wang Xian Zhi, he is kicking all the great masters ass, have these powerful…
it seems like the royal zhao dude that is currently at long hu shan was the one who attacked xfn's mom (that's what it seems from his conversation with the bastard prince guy). I think wang xian zhi was set up by the royals to be in the capital at the same time only as a scapegoat so xu xiao can get himself killed if he tried seeking revenge.
I don't think xfn's mom would have been able to escape wang xian zhi. dude is out here murking everyone lol.
The wife (yellow dress lady) of Lord Jing is actually the lover or gf of the son but father stole her from the…
yes but it wasn't because he's a lecherous degenerate lol, the father told xfn he was suspicious of her trying to get close to his son so he decided to marry her instead. her background is mysterious, and her motives are currently unknown, thus suspicious. even xfn thinks so too.
Has anyone figured out why they wanted to kill the princess in the 1st episode?
I thought it was just something to blame all the commotion on to distract from the real assassination attempt of the father/daughter informers. I remember the "assassins" changing their focus mid attack from the princess as soon as they spotted the father/daughter. (Could be wrong it has been a while since ep 1 lol)
The father took on some adopted sons. There are 2 girls and 2 boys in ML's family. ML being the eldest boy. The…
there are 6 adopted sons (so far the two that have shown up are sons of xu xiao's previous generals who have passed away, I'd assume the rest are the same; him raising the sons of his dead homies). the two sisters, xfn and huangmang'er are biological siblings same mom
It seems they tried to assassinate her while she was pregnant with Fengnian. So how did she manage to go on and…
I just got to this part of the conversation between xfn and his mom's maid in the novel. pretty much the mom was able to escape the capital, but she was injured. after arriving in beiliang she was able to live for a few years but in the end succumbed to the injury because they were never able to fully treat it. so in those few years, she gave birth to xfn and then huangman'er
So I know some dramas use fake horses, but it looks like they use real horses for this drama? I'm curious about…
if they use real horses then they probably do have a horse person there. actors probably get some ride trainings beforehand too. (saw "the witcher" cast talking about their horse riding in their interviews so I'd think it'd be the same)
how hard would it have been to just amputate an extra finger on a baby when you're from an aristocratic family and know someone can't hold office with an extra finger? lol like bruh that should've been EZ.
btw I think Suyue's brother might be the real mastermind behind everything. dude has that terminal illness trope that someone is usually faking when they're plotting lol. His view on women, pertaining to his sister; he wants her to conform to a "woman's" role by not being an official and getting married etc. reason why that's weird is because they are relatives with the freaking Empress, and this is like the peak of woman empowerment in chinese history; they have high level female officials and the whole shebang.
the actress is a 21 yr old woman playing a role of a character who is around 18. what are you on about?in duolo,…
her character is written to have a childish front most of the times, during the serious parts the actress does an excellent job portraying that so I don't see where you would have a problem with the casting.

they threw a bs made up tea out there for no other reason.
