I love detective shows and am loving it so far. Looking forward to new episodes.

There are a few things that bug me.

1. I am on episode 9, and the ML has fewer appearances than others.
2. FL is a great actress, but the voice dubbing is not syncing. Additionally, it feels that the voice artist is just reading the script. It's hard to overlook this.

This drama is very interesting and I can't wait for the next episodes.

Question: Why didn't ML go visit his family after he almost died at his Shifu's hand? Why did he continue with his journey to become an immortal, and what is his driving force?

When the grand princess mentioned that Prince Yu recently had twins(a boy and a girl), the empress dowager had a shocked look and reminisced about something. Was the Empress Dowager thinking about one of her twin children (probably the current emperor and his lookalike twins)?

I am confused about Yan Li's backstory. Why didn't they show his father's face, and it was always hidden by an umbrella? Is there any hidden meaning to it? So his father was a traitor, and his mom's family did good deeds, thus he got a new title ?

The FL is anything but smart. Why would she go and confront Mu Wu Yin and the evil empress with no plan? Dumbest move!

Just stop with your bullying and attacking people for sharing their views. Everyone is doing a great job with expression except her.

Something is quite not right with the FL dialogue delivery. She barely moves her lips while talking. It's hard to take her seriously with her pursing her lips all the time and her weird dialogue delivery.

It took me few seconds to understand what was going on. I was like, "who are these 2 new characters fighting?".

This drama is really good so far.

Personally it got my attention after episode 8 and it went steady from then on.

OMG! The leads are my favorite. Hope the drama is good.

I am little unsure if ML father and FL mother had mutual feelings or was it one-sided from FL mom.

It took me 8 episodes to get into the story and after that it got my attention. It's a great thriller. I am glad there is subtle romance as a human we go through many emotions and it's okay to be vulnerable sometimes.

Why does it say "General Female Lead" in the Genre tag? I am o episode 5 and there is no indication that FL knows martial arts and a fighter.

FL said it's 1 year.

This story really hits you differently. I especially love the FL maids. They are very caring and affectionate and she also has her nanny and nanny's daughter with her which we do't see in lots of dramas. I love seeing them huddling and discussing their survival plans.

This is my first time watching a drama with the FL. Wow! What a great actress!

My thoughts as well. Rise of Ning sibling love is the worst kind. They grew up together as siblings and suddenly when the ML found out about the FL identity, he started looking at her in different ways. That was most disgusting.

Lately it's been a trend to match up the fake siblings. There are many ways to go about without making it so icky.

Another wooden acting actor.
