Tears were rolling down my eyes when the FL was beaten on the words of her mother. I thought she was helpless but loving the plot twist.

There were some intriguing sentences and dialogues that makes you ponder. Thanks for the great subtitle. This drama has mix of everything and off to a good start.

I watch historical dramas for a bit relaxation. But in this one, there are too many blood boiling moments and too many hateful people. Very hard for me to keep continuing with only one or two episodes per days and with a cliff hanger. .

Future episode trailer looks grim.

I thought I saw all the despicable characters already in this show. Oh my I was so wrong. Yu Qi mother is the most villainous and heartless person here. All she cares about is her image.
I pray Yu Qi becomes the Crown Prince and eventually becomes the emperor.
One consolation at least a wise emperor in this drama.

When the first half's were boring they released 2 episodes per day. Now the show pacing picked up it reduced to 1 episode per day. So frustrated.

Its getting more interesting now with episode 24!

I am also looking forward to Zhen love angle with the good princess. This is one of those story where the second ML deserves much more than the mains.

Episode 20 ad 21 what a waste of time! Why is the ML speaks as if he is going through Laryngitis? Can't take him seriously.

Why would you call someone hater when they share their personal opinion? There is nothing wrong with sharing their perspective . The ML acting definitely leaves much to be desired. But I am enjoying all the other characters in this drama.

Hmm I don't see any similarities none whatsoever between these 2 dramas. But I am really not shocked that Jing Tian is a better actress than Zhao Lusi.

As a master gardener, it was too non-sensical to see how the FL was easily able to mend and grow peony in little as few days/months. It threw me off. Peony is one of the fuzziest plant and hates transplant. Very illogical.
