Is it just me or it is getting harder to keep watching this drama!
ep 16-17 I was suppressing screams of groominggroomingrooming but perhaps modern standards shouldn't be imposed on immortal beings or reincarnated ahem young adults
I finally made an account. I've always wondered which drama would make me do it.
At episode 19, Zhuo Hao finally meets the "new" Chong Zi. I must say, he's the one with the most realistic reaction. He is initially quite taken with Chong Zi, just like in her previous life. But once he realizes that Yin Fan named her so, he's repulsed.
Qin Ke's initial reaction when Miaoyuan told him was also believable, but he immediately swept it under a rug of stoicism. That's probably also because Qin Ke seems to be seeking to emulate Yin Fan, while Zhuo Hao simply wants to avenge Chong Zi.
I have been pondering that this entire master-student dynamic screams of grooming, but it is also a story between an Immortal teacher who has lived thousands of years and a reincarnated student who has lived through young adulthood twice now, so really, I shouldn't impose modern values of morality on them.
